First of all Plitvice park is heaven on earth, so anything more comfortable than sleeping on hard rock would have been enough. But this property gives you much more than that. It's 3 minutes walk away from entrance 3, making it a perfect base to enjoy the park. Our room was very elegantly furnished, had everything we needed and the staff were super friendly.

We arrived at the park by bus but the bus stop is around 15min drive from the hotel. So we needed a taxi to get to the hotel and we felt a bit robbed paying 30€ for such a short ride. Maybe the hotels in the Selo Plitice area could jointly arrange for a shuttle bus between them. Also the restaurant, while beautifully decorated and with super-friendly staff, could improve the food quality a bit. It wasn't bad, far from that, but the price to quality was a bit off. I'd still suggest eating the trout though. Delicious.

It is in a beautifull place, the rooms are well equipped and nice , clean, everything is there what is needed. The staff was very welcoming, helpfull and nice. It is very close to an entrance - walking distance - to the National Park. The restaurant is in very nice place, mainly the outer area, the serving was wonderfull - the lady who served there was very very nice and kind. The food was also great.

I can say there is no such thing but two very small piece, the bed matrasse was very very very very soft and for us - very subjective - it was not the best, and there was no bin basket in the room just a small one in the bathroom. But keep in mind this is just because this field is here and everythin was magnificant.

The staff are the best part - super friendly and attentive. If not for them, the review would be much lower. The location near the entrance (P3) to the park is excellent too. Saw a bunch of fireflies at night which was magical.

The beds are truly uncomfortable- the springs are hard and poking through the mattress. The food at the restaurant is ok, but options in the area are limited and overpriced. The breakfast is subpar, mostly just very greasy. Also brought a small dog - the fee is 20 euros per night and no additional services such as a blanket or bowls are provided. Bit of a ripoff.

My partner and I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. They patiently answered all our questions, which were many :) Everything was very clean and we had a very comfortable sleep. The room was quiet and surprisingly large. The location is great, it's very close to the entrance to the park, so after arriving we didn't need a car anymore. The food was also excellent, everything was really delicious. Warm recommendations.

It's a stunning compound of a few houses, really cute and traditionally decorated inside. Room was very spacious with nice bathroom and all facilities. Location is fab for the lakes as you can take a 5 minute easy walk to go to entrance 3 (they accept tickets for entrances 1 and 2) so I had no crowds to contend with. Staff very friendly, helpful on tour suggestions for the lakes, and kitchen kind enough to keep breakfast open for me an extra 10 minutes! Would definitely recommend.

Etno Gardens is a beautiful and relaxing place to stay, really close to the entrance to the National Park. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and very relaxing, with high quality showers and storage spaces. There is lots to do on the site, with lots of activities available. There is a nice restaurant (a little pricier than other places in Croatia, but the food is incredible), and an outdoor seating area with an open fire on colder evenings. The staff were all super friendly and really helpful, giving lots of guidance on how to get into the National Park.

They are cash only on the site, so make sure you take some euros with you for your stay.

The staff was amazing!!! My rental car tire had a slow leak and they filled it up both mornings we were there AND gave me their contact info in case something happened during the day and we needed help. The room was beautifully appointed with a lot of space. I would highly recommend staying at Etno Gardens if you want to explore Plitvica Lakes!

Location is brilliant. Short walk to Entrance 3 - a very quiet entrance - avoids the crowds. Plenty of parking outside the chalets. Lovely and clean. Bed quite comfy - could feel a few springs deep down in the bed. We stayed in Veronica 1. Tea/coffee supplies not replenished which seemed odd. Cups not washed but bed was made. Room lovely and large, bathroom also very large. Hot water immediately out of tap. Had bath with shower overhead. Restaurant very nice. Food good, not especially good. As we have found in Sibenik too (our main location) veg is rarely provided with meals. Just meat and mash or chips. Breakfast good - help yourself so very easy. Good selection. Needs nuts and seeds to make meusli. Staff very nice, they were attentive and helped in every way you needed. Also helpful in suggesting great viewpoints from down the road since we arrived afternoon before our 2 day ticket. Bit confused what we booked as on here says Exclusive Rooms but when we went there it was not open. So we went to Etno Garden - only 1/4 mile separating them. We would definitely recommend this to others - rooms lovely and spacious, staff lovely, location superb.

We had a very nice time. The room was comfortable, very nicely decorated, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was commendable. We tried several dishes in the restaurant and I can say that overall the food was excellent, the wine as well. Great location and friendly staff made our visit a very nice experience.

Wow. What an amazing place! The setting is serene and oh-so-peaceful. My room was gorgeous and incredibly comfortable. The food was delicious, with an abundant and fresh buffet and tasty dinner. Best part was the staff: so incredibly warm and helpful.

Just a word of caution: if you are using public transportation, you must take a not so inexpensive taxi to the hotel. If you have a backpack, you might be able to walk through the park to get there, but otherwise expect to pay about 30€each way. That was a bit of a bummer.
