The addition to the castle is where we stayed - modern and very good. Stairs a little steep and no lift for folks with mobility problems get a room on the ground floor - we were on the 3rd. Lovely restaurant as part of the complex with great food and thank you for two vegetarian choices.

Directions ! There are major construction works in the town so a one way system is in place - which Waze and Maps dont seem to know about. Would have really helped us to know the way to the hotel via the diversion / one way system prior to getting there. These are little things Hosts - but they would really count.

Hotel is in a rather quiet place, surrounded by the inhabited area and some cultivated fields higher on the hill. The old part of the hotel looks nice and original, our hotel room in the new(er) surrounding building was just average.

In my view, this hotel is overrated. The accommodation price is just too elevated. Breakfast was rich but there were many things missing, for example, no fresh orange juice (to be expected in such a hotel), no water refilled, no scrambled eggs added, no fresh fruit and very limited choice of vegetables. It seemed that the staff was not ready / able to serve that huge amount of guests at the same time (at around 9 AM on Sunday).

This hotel is exceptional. A stunning hotel in an amazing location. Just look at the photos on the site . We loved the decor. They’d thought of everything. Plenty of plugs , blanket and treats for our dogs . No stinting, all quality furnishing, bedding and toiletries. We were able to have room service for breakfast and dinner which made a huge difference to our stay. The meals were delicious . The staff were very good .

I stayed with my mother and dog at Schloss hotel. Before arriving we requested a ground floor room to make it easier with our dog. They accepted our request without any issue. When we arrived to our room they even provided a blanket and little treat for our dog :) The room was very clean and big. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. There were enough towels and extra ones + a bathrobe to go to the spa. Our first night we had dinner in the restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. The breakfast buffet was very variated and of very high standards. Fresh and local products with impeccable quality. The spa made this stay extraordinary and incredibly relaxing.

The restaurant and breakfast buffet staff could've been a bit nicer... During dinner and breakfast they acted quite rude and snappy when we asked something or tried making conversation. The other staff were very nice tho :)

Liked the restaurant “Terrasse”, breakfast was fantastic. Such a beautiful view, and the lights added a nice flare.

Elevator would have been nice, but I’m sure that if guests have restrictions they would get an appropriate room. Unfortunately the security gentleman that was at the reception in the evening, wasn’t very forthcoming and nice.

The breakfast turned out to be incredibly delicious — a true gastronomic delight.

Unfortunately, the spa was fully booked, even though we had reserved our accommodation a month in advance. In the evening, we visited the restaurant — the prices were a bit high, but the food was delicious. Despite that, we had a lovely evening.

The hotel was really nice, lovely atmosphere and decorated. Very friendly staff. The place was really clean. The food in the bistro was ok and prices where reasonable. We had a great stay for a more than ok price.

The room was really big but out dated. Decorating could be much better in the room. No coffee machine or thee facilities in the room. The bathroom was clean but could use a more modern shower.

Situated in a scenic part of Germany, close to motorway, but not near enough to hear it. Very friendly staff and the room was spacious, clean and very well appointed. Dinner was a great experience and very good value.

A beautiful Schloss with very friendly staff. Great sized room, comfortable beds and a lovely stop off on our road trip. I had the most amazing dinner at the Terrace restaurant

Lovely Schloss hotel tucked away just of German 61 motorway south of Bonn. Very convenient for a first night stop on route south. Clean, characterful and with all facilities including restaurant. Helpful staff.
