How to describe this beautiful place. We spent 1 dream week there. Everything in this hotel is designed to make you feel good and enjoy an idyllic setting. The staff is very attentive, welcoming, friendly and very attentive. As soon as you arrive and receive the welcome foot massage, you are plunged into this atmosphere of calm and serenity. To be able to experience spending your entire stay barefoot in the sand is an experience I had never experienced. It feels so good to give up shoes and to refocus on yourself. The rooms are clean, well appointed and add to the feeling of well-being. Even though we were surrounded by nature, we were never bothered by mosquitoes or other insects. The restaurant offers a varied menu for each meal offering various foods (vegetarian, fish, meat, poultry, shellfish). There is a starter, main course and dessert system. Everyone can figure it out. The fact that there are only 20 rooms means that the time of the meal is a calm and intimate moment. The à la carte service (for lunch, lunch and dinner) is of a high quality and professionally offered. The hotel's beach is just a beautiful picture postcard ride away with its white sand and sky blue sea. The beach furniture available is just top quality so you can relax and take your best photos. There are 2 deckchairs, a covered beach bed, but also the possibility that the staff will set up a space on the beach. As far as the swimming pool is concerned, it is very beautiful and there is always room, without going to war as is often the case elsewhere. All this to say, I couldn’t have chosen a better framework for my marriage proposal

I wish i’d stayed there longer

The name says it all… it’s all about the senses. From the moment you arrive, shoes are discarded, your feet are bathed, and you feel the soft beach sand under your toes for the rest of your stay. Wind chimes gently sing in the breeze and provide tranquility for the soul. Every meal is prepared to tease the taste buds and every bite, mouthwatering. Resort wide, the staff are warm and friendly, and go out of their way for to cater to your every need. Your stay is a complete sense of pampered relaxation, and you leave feeling totally recharged.

Just came back from a 6 days stay and I am still dreaming about my Sensational holiday! This was the perfect place to recharge and enjoy pristine beaches, delicious food and top notch service. Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed with lots of smiles by Shams( manager of the resort), Pradeep (my butler) and lovely Janette who made my stay feel like heaven and cannot thank them enough for their kindness. warmth and genuine care. To my surprise I was given a quick foot massage which felt so good after the trip and instantly put me in such a relaxing mood. It also gave me a hint on the superb level of service I was about to experience during my stay. As soon as I finished my drink they bagged the shoes as the whole place is barefoot policy -a concept that I loved- and followed Pradeep and Janette to my villa hidden between mangroves. There are only 20 villas for a very intimate and cosy ambiance. The villa was exactly like the photos: clean and beautifuly decorated balinese style, with a huge comfy bed, separate shower, a mini bar with water, soft drinks and wine, A/C, while outside there is a small terrace. It really felt like a private oasis to relax and be at peace, surrounded by nature and singing birds. I was so anxious to discover this stunning resort that we left right away to continue the tour. We arrived at the wine bar with it’s gorgeous chandeliers and wooden decoration, a small shop where you can find sunscreen, beach bags, bikinis, souvenirs, flip flops etc… A shisha place right next to it and a couple of swing chairs made this area look fantastic. The wow factor was the huge plunge pool perfectly designed for a spectacular view during the day but also in the evenings. What a dream place to enjoy the sunny days on the sundbeds while having a cocktail or reading a book. We continued to the beautiful bars and restaurant while everybody else was welcoming me with the same warm smile.

Property is a 10/10

Sensations was incredible. The most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed at. They are fairly new but they have almost everything down. The barefoot and white sand theme made it feel like we were on a small private island. They only have 20 rooms which only added to the exclusivity. We mostly had the place to ourselves. Most amazing pool I’ve ever seen and the beach was great. It is affected by the tides but it was the best of both worlds. When the tide was low we could walk all over the seabed and find starfish, octopus and other sea creatures. Beware though there are lots of sea urchins so either wear shoes or have a local guide you through like we did! When the tide is high you can swim freely far away from the urchins! The rooms are beautiful and we got upgraded to a deluxe room with an outdoor shower! The service was great and super personalised. We had Pradeep as our “butler” and was 10/10 always making sure we were comfortable!

Our only issue was with their pouring alcohol. They had cheap import spirits for their cocktails and all inclusive guests which for a 5 star hotel with their prices could definitely be better. They had known brands available but it was very expensive for those options. The food was great all round, we never went hungry and there was good variety. I would not put the food at 5 starts though. There is a bit of room for improvement.

This hotel is a wonderfully secluded spot in paradise that shines even more and adds even more charm and beauty through all the team members that make you feel genuinely welcome and home from the very first second (I arrived at 4 am in the morning). I am very grateful to: The housekeeping/gardening team for constantly keeping this ‚piece’ of paradise amazingly clean. The service at the restaurant and bar/kitchen for the great hospitality. The SPA team for the word-class treatments. The management team for being on the scene every day with the entire team - proofing that Sensation is a truly outstanding destination. My special thanks to: Jaqueline, Veronica, Pius, Calvin, Waziri and Ibrahim for the great company throughout the entire day each day, the great performances of special songs - and teaching me Suaheli. James for all the safe drives and the music. Adriana for the amazing yoga sessions and the inspiring conversations. Joyce for the most outstanding SPA treatments I’ve ever had around the world. Everything My stay at the 6-Star Eco Sensations Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we arrived, the level of service provided by the staff, especially Ali, was unparalleled. Ali went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect, from check-in to check-out. We were pleasantly surprised when we received a complimentary upgrade to our room, which was already luxurious and eco-friendly. The attention to detail in the hotel's design, with its sustainability initiatives, was truly impressive. It's rare to find a place that combines opulence with a commitment to the environment so seamlessly. And then there was the food! The dining experience at Eco Sensations Hotel was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. Each dish was a work of art, showcasing both exquisite flavors and a dedication to using locally sourced, sustainable ingredients. It's a true haven for food enthusiasts. Eco Sensations Hotel is undoubtedly deserving of its "6-star" designation. It's a place where luxury meets eco-consciousness, and I left with a sense of awe and appreciation for their dedication to both guests and the planet. There was nothing not to like

We were greeted with outstanding service from the moment we arrived at the resort. The staff was amazing and took great care of us from check-in to check-out!

The plug is not universally compatible, but thanks to the general manager's and staff's thoughtful actions, we have alternative ways to charge our phones and laptops. Additionally, it's better if all the staff wear name badges so I can write their names here.

It was nice and peaceful property , the food was really organic and fresh we really enjoyed this stay , the staff were really friendly and went above and beyond it was also super clean :)

Nothing much really , I just feel laundry should be given as a complimentary option .

This boutique hotel is a true gem nestled on the picturesque coast of the Spice Island. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the breathtaking beauty and unparalleled charm of the resort. The rooms are veritable oases of tranquility and comfort. Every detail has been lovingly designed with an eco-concept in mind, without compromising on luxury. Each morning, we enjoyed spectacular views of the turquoise Indian Ocean from our balcony - a dream in white and blue. The culinary offerings at Eco Shic are simply sensational. The kitchen delighted us with a perfect fusion of local specialties and international dishes. Fresh seafood, exotic spices, and crisp vegetables - every meal was a feast for the senses. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired, and the sundowner at the beach bar was the perfect end to each day. The staff deserves special mention. Their friendliness, attentiveness, and warm Zanzibari charm made our stay truly special. Whether it was for excursion tips, special requests, or just a friendly chat - the team was always on hand to ensure we felt completely at ease. The hotel's location is ideal for trips to the famous Stone Town or the spice plantations. But honestly, it was hard to leave the idyllic Eco Shic at all. The private beach section with its palm trees and powder-soft white sand invited us to dream and relax.

We very much liked the design and layout of the property, the direct beach location (you can walk endlessly up and down the beach), the fact that it has only 20 bungalows for 2 people, the fact that you must take your shoes off when you enter the property (yes, you walk barefeet in the beautiful tropical sand all the time), the food was amazing, the staff super friendly and helpful, we had a butler on site who we could whatsapp 24/7, we had booked the all inclusive option which was super convenient, there is hardly any background music so overall it is peacefully quiet around the property which makes it super relaxing (you just have the sound of nature from the waves, the wind, the trees....) we enjoyed the SPA service (a focused offering but really complementary when you want to relax and unwind)

There was nothing during our stay that would have been a major negative. There were just a few very small things that were addressed immediately by the staff. This is only the third year of operations for the property and we hope it will keep its unique blend of simplicity (in a great way) and high quality - this was a really beautiful boutique hotel experience. Perfect for a short break from the hustle and bustle of your professional life or a relaxing finish of a mainland safari trip.
