We liked the contental breakfast and the fact that is was restocked all morning so at 9:30 we could still enjoy a good meal. Staff is always exceptional. The girl at the front desk on Saturday was quiet and not always looking thrilled to be there, but the morning lady on Sunday was so bright and cheery! I appreciated the fact that my son was allergic to pets and we were put on the second floor. Appreciated the gazebo area. BAD: It was disgusting to have people drinking beer and smoking week which stunk horribly right the front entrance. Would be a turn off if I didn't know the place was. a great place to stay. Could the smoking area be moved away from the front??

We planned a 3 week's tour to Rockies this August. Unfortunately Japer caught fire just before we reached. We were to stay for 6 nights at Jasper which we had to replace. We replaced 3 nights' stay by booking at Kanata. It was a last minute decision. As I did not search more I was a bit skeptical about the property but on reaching we were so very pleased with the amenities, staff, surroundings...everything. Special thanks to Anmol, a guy at restaurant who not only gave us good information but also served us with very tasty Samosas...!!

I was pleasantly surprised that the Kanata was the perfect choice for accommodation considering what else is available in the Crowsnest Pass in the hotel/motel category. It was easy access, close to restaurants, clean and quiet. The available coffee, water and breakfast was absolutely fantastic.

When we checked in the front desk person seemed negative when I mentioned booking through a third party which I found to be uncalled for. Overall the staff were not as pleasant as they could have been.

The room was spacious and had self catering facilities. the room was very comfortable. The included breakfast was an unexpected bonus especially the maple syrup pancakes. The location was convenient for tourist sites of interest. Most enjoyable stop off during our holiday.

Air conditioning was a bit noisy. Decor was a bit dark.

Crowness pass is a beautiful location with stunning views. As long as you like your winter sports or just hiking in the summer

Very remote location, with not much to do outside involving the mountains. The breakfast variety at our hotel could be improved

Staff were very friendly.The room was spacious and clean. We had the king suite and the tub was great and the shower was big. Had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. We ate at the pizza place that is in the hotel and it was delicious! We would definitely stay here again.

The staff were so friendly and willing to help if I needed something. The rooms were spacious and comfortable- there was lots of room to work and I loved that there was chrome cast on the TVs so I could watch what I wanted. I also loved the tea/coffee/filtered water station in the lobby. The breakfast each morning was fine, but nothing special.

The fitness centre is pretty small, but I was still very happy to have somewhere to work out!

Friendly staff, great location and very clean rooms. Breakfast was continental with good choices. A freshly baked cookie on arrival is a nice touch and coffee / fresh water available at all times in reception. A cosy feeling hotel with great service!

I like that you had truck parking. The hotel was beautiful. The views from the rooms were spectacular of the mountains. Had a great restaurant attached to the hotel for some excellent pizza. Breakfast was awesome. Laundry was free.

There was nothing I didn't like it was all good.

Window curtains didn’t close all the way because the AC was under it, let in the light from the street. Many rooms have parking lot/ construction view.
