Lovely airy, modern rooms with attractive, beautifully co-ordinated stylish decoration in both bedrooms and breakfast/sitting rooms yet hidden inside an old building along a pedestrianised alley way from the historic centre. Incredibly clean and well-maintained. Lovely garden. Great breakfast. Good recommendations for dinner nearby.
Communication was a bit unclear as booking.com messages and emails were not returned however I was whatsapped on the morning of arrival to explain meeting instructions and then led to parking. Morgan does an amazing job dealing with multiple arrivals around the same time ! However would be useful if the meeting details (eg road name) were provided in advance when the booking is confirmed and just one phone number was provided to contact on arrival.

Our apartment was large and comfortable, including a living room where our family gathered before dinner. There's a small garden, and the property has a selection of brochures about the area. Our host (Morgan) was friendly and very helpful. He prepared us a very nice breakfast with eggs cooked to order. He also helped with our bags (parking is down the street) and gave us good restaurant recommendations. He also gave us a useful map of the old town (Piazza Armerina).
The property is located on a narrow street in the old town, where it wasn't practical to drive our rental car. Guests should park 100 meters away at the Piazza Garibaldi and bring their bags (or ask Morgan to help bring them).

If you are visiting Piazza Armerina for the Palio or to see the Villa Romana, there is only one place to stay, and that is with Morgan at B&B Zagare. Besides the incredibly cute decor, the lovely garden to sit and spend time in, and the comfortable rooms, Morgan's hospitality shines as a stand-out reason to stay here. He is kind and attentive and gives a made-to-order breakfast every morning. What a pleasant stay in a charming village of Sicily.
If you are coming by car, Morgan will help you find a parking spot in town because his location is not accessible by car since it's in a protected part of the old city. Not necessarily a negative, but something to be prepared for.

A beautiful, incredibly well presented little B&B. The B&B is down a little side street very close to the centre of town. There is free parking on a street close by, where the host met us and helped us into the property with our bags. The room was big with plenty of space to spread out , comfy big bed and a little balcony. The bathroom again was spacious with a great shower. There are lots of nice little touches around the place including old type writers and radios. The host was very attentive and cooked and served us breakfast every day. There is a shaded garden that is nice to sit and chill out with a book. Highly recommend.
Nothing, everything was great!!

The location was perfect, within the historical centre. Our host, Morgan, was the ultimate perfect host. He advised us as to where to park, met us there and helped carry our suitcases to the accommodation, and as our room was on the second floor and there is not an elevator, Morgan carried our luggage to the room. The decor is lovely, very fresh, very nicely done. Morgan advised us of restaurants for dinner. Breakfast was very generous with savoury bruschetta, meats, cheese, eggs, also juice, cereal coffee and a selection if cakes. Morgan then helped carry our suitcases back to the car: the perfect host
Nothing at all to criticise

We loved this place. We were there only to visit Villa Romana del casalle, but Piazza Armerina is a very nice place that deserves some time. This was our best stay in Sicily. The room was spacious, beds were comfortable, in a very quiet place. The breakfast was very good too. This was our best experience: best host, best room. The place is very clean and the decorations... It's like a museum. The car can't drive there, but the host helped us from the parking place close by. It's a fast and nice walk to the room. Thanks for everything! We would've extended 1 night if we didn't book ahead the next stop.

Morgan was absolutely spectacular! The streets are challenging and we were lost in the rain in a medieval city. He ran about a mile to rescue us and guide us to parking. He carried our bags to our rooms and made sure we were comfortable. The room aesthetics were all unique and gave a curated feel. I could have laid in the comfortable bed all day but travel awaits! Breakfast was included and made for an easy departure.
Be prepared for parking challenges and traffic was difficult for someone not familiar with the city.

We loved everything about this location. Our host Martin us feel right at home and like family. In fact when we called for a check and he came out and met us at the car in pouring rain to help us with parking brought us umbrellas and usher us into his home, it was a magnificent start. We stayed in many places in Sicily over two weeks and this by far was one of the most intimate and centrally located in the city, but Martin really made the stay special in fact we seemed to bump into him in town at local wine bars or meeting with friends in the street and of course he made us feel like we were one of his family and introduced us to everyone. The bed-and-breakfast is tastefully done and yes, it has a garden. The breakfast was included in our stay and was delicious and made the order. We would definitely stay here again without question.
For older folks or people with possible disabilities, there is one room where the bed is up a staircase, so we stayed there and had no issues, but it was a beautiful room and very spacious with a beautiful bed at the top of the staircase

Very nice room. Clean and well equipped. The host was extremely helpful, particularly in meeting us and taking us to the best place to park, then helping us with our luggage. He gave us good advice about what to see as well as good places to eat. There is a small but very nice garden, though we couldn't take advantage of it because it rained when we were there.
Nothing really. This is a modest B&B but very pleasant and well-run.

What a fabulous B&B! Morgan is a wonderful and energetic host. The room and common areas are nicely decorated. Morgan gives the credit to his girlfriend. He carried my wife's bag up to the room. Parking is not next to the building but in a public lot a couple of minutes away. Morgan provided us with perfect directions to a location in town where he met us and led us to the parking where he paid the parking fee then walked us to the B&B. It seems a little chaotic, but it's not. Nice breakfast in the morning which included freshly-made omelets for us. We were also given a good restaurant recommendation. Like many others, we came to visit the Villa Romana del Casale. It was easy to get to our car in the morning and drive the 4 miles to the Villa.
Nothing not to like. Wish we could have stayed longer.
