This is a good, modern hotel right beside the camino and includes a café that was hugely popular with peregrinos at breakfast time. It’s also probably the safest hotel in Spain, being directly opposite the police station! The room was generously sized, the beds were comfortable and the shower was excellent. We had breakfast in the café, which was good and very reasonably priced.

No negatives

Great location, right in middle of old town square, very close to Camino route but a bit further from the town main bus station if you are travelling to Sarria by bus from Lugo. Room was clean and quiet, with all basic necessities. Internal of hotel was also clean, and tidy. Opposite of hotel is the police station - cannot get any better for safety, not that safety is an issue. Highly recommended for start of Camino.

Nothing noteworthy to note.

A very clean hotel that is basic but meets all of your needs on the Camino. The staff are helpful and friendly. There is a washer and drying for your clothing. And the location at the centre of the Old Town and on the Camino was very useful. The attached restaurant provides a good breakfast and is nice for sitting outside and having a drink when you arrive.

The location was right on the Camino and towards the top of a hill in the old town. When starting at the beginning of your day you would not need to walk up the hill. You are close to the Sarria sign. The restaurant location below was really convenient since I went right before the official season opened and there was not a lot open at that time.

Nice and well run hotel and restaurant. The AC,room and shower were great and breakfast was available at 6, and a full menu from 10am to 10pm. Great staff with fast service and it is right on the Camino a few 100 feet before it leaves town.

The room was excellent and very quiet which matters to me. The person who checked me in was very kind and helpful. I was walking the Camino and was having a problem with my phone. He helped me find a place to deal with that. He also gave me a great recommendation for dinner. Great shower and a satisfying sleep.

Everything was great

Front desk provided ALL of the information needed to make our stay relaxing. This is the only time this happened in 45 nights. Very comfortable room. Restaurant and bar on site and excellent. Located directly on the Camino in the center of the old town. Very nice laundry.

Central location. Clean and comfortable. Happily printed our luggage tags. This was really appreciated.

Meal option a bit limiting and catering more to tourists. Reception manned intermittently. Not big issues though.

It was all excellent! Comfy bed great shower extremely clean. Service friendly and efficient. Gentleman at desk has excellent English to help those like me with no Spanish. Restaurant also excellent and reasonable prices. A real gem !

Excellent location on the Camino. Comfortable, clean room. Restaurant outside served good meals for hungry pilgrims.
