I stayed in the pension portion of the property, which is in a separate building from the Albergue and main facilities. I was in room six on the second floor, which was a corner unit and was very bright with a beautiful view. I loved this room. The location was also excellent being just a few feet off the Camino.

There was nothing not to like. It would’ve been nice to have a chair in the room, but there was a small stool to sit on. Also, the hairdryer is installed in a strange place in the bathroom, which is not ideal, but the big scheme of things doesn’t matter at all :-)

Everything was wonderful. We arrived wet, cold and tired. The host was so accommodating and we felt welcomed. The room was fabulous. So warm, so clean and beautifully appointed. Additionally, everything smelt so fresh and clean! We were delighted with the facilities. There is a kitchenette with microwave and cooker and fridge, plenty of cutlery and cups and cookware. This place has everything you could want in an albergue. Do yourself a favour!

Nothing to complain about at all!

Great location up front the bus station. It’s a bit of a hill, but you have to climb it regardless. It is easy to find. Don welcomed us, gave us a tour and let us know the locations of the church, cafes (just around the corner) and grocery store which was very helpful. The place was very clean. The online pictures are accurate. It was very clean.

It was just great

The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. On one hand the location is wonderful bc it has a beautiful view, it’s right on the camino trail and next to various restaurants but on the other far from the train station on foot. We hadn’t arranged our luggage transfer ahead of time and the owner was so helpful with assisting us. We were very grateful for that.

The best albergue in Camino Francés Unlike many other albergues that only see pilgrims as money, this is a place that makes you feel like you are a guest in your own home. A first-floor bed (not a bunkbed), a free spin dryer, and Chupito de Herbas provided free of charge in the evenings do not make you think that the owner of this albergue only runs the albergue to make money. Gracious.

Great location for centre of town - bang on Camino. Friendly, v. helpful staff. A hotel full of charm and character. Lovely garden and rooftop sun area for relaxation/hanging clothes.

A fairly basic double room with bathroom but absolutely perfect for Camino travelers.

Monica (owner) is very welcoming, she even organise some drink next to the fire place which is a great opportunity to meet other guess (peregrines) but the most special moment happened when I realised I lost my wallet and the Colombians guys that are working in housekeeping were going above a beyond to find my wallet. As we didn't find it, the Colombian Gentleman offered me €20 so for my journey. In the end, I found my wallet at the coach station but this gesture is something I would never forget. Many thanks

A well organized albergue. It was nice and tidy, and very clean. The staff was welcoming and answered all the questions I had, and I had the luck of being almost alone in a shared dormitory.

Right on the camino with easy access to lots of food options and supermarket. Good size, modern room. Nice outlook. Good bike storage.

Noise travelled from other guests but one guest was particularly noisy/inconsiderate so probably ok normally. It was a lovely day so we enjoyed opening all windows to enjoy breeze and view, but constant smoke from neighbour's chimney become annoying

loved the hospitality area with a fireplace where we could play a guitar, sing songs and meet fellow pilgrims. The hosts provided complimentary drinks for their guests which was extremely generous.

no complaints, no food is offered but it is not necessary with lots of restaurants and bistros just a few steps away. The location is literally right on the Camino Frances path.
