The room I have booked is bigger than what I thought - two balconies and two bathrooms. Nice!

The choices of foods and drinks during breakfast are much lesser than I expected

Great resort for relaxing in a calm enviroment. The pool was really nice and it's great to have a private beach. The room had a good size and it was clean. Everyday there was some show close to the bar for enjoy the night with some drinks.

The breakfast didn't have a lot of options. The beach was dirty and full of trash, so it wasn't possible to have a bath in the sea. The location is nice for being away from the hassle of the city, but it isn't convenient to visit places arround.

The room was spacious clean and tidy and modern lighting. It had an attached sitting area and the views were fabulous!

Some paths outside were craked and uneven and also the steps. Some maintanace required to make safe the use of these. Also the road into the hotel before the barrier has large pot holes! and is a very uneven serface. It dose not make a good impression of the hotel when traveling to it! Staff over axcious for you to sign the tab when drinks or food is purchased, They need to relax and get documents signed at the end of the meal!

Efficient and friendly staff. Spoken English good enough to understand and respond to queries. Property/swimming pools were clean and well maintained.

TV reception was poor in my room. Shower water pressure was weak. Fan from the bedroom air conditioner was loud though adjusted to the lowest fan speed. Menu choices in the hotel restaurant can be more extensive.

The sea view is exceptional and the staff service was excellent. Breakfast was pretty decent, simple but enough to fill you up. I liked the complimentary tea session as well.

The bathtub ran out of hot water pretty quickly so it was lukewarm water overall and we could not soak for too long - had to keep boiling water separately to pour in and ensure that it is not too cold.

The staffs are friendly and helpful. 1 even remember what type of coffee I like. Very prompt in answering WhatsApp

The fan was a bit noisy in my villa. Sunday breakfast was a bit of disappointment as we had to queue for a good while cos a family day in which should not have happened. Very long queue. A bit more daily variation of food will be better. Every day it’s Nasi goreng and Mee goreng.

This is a great place to recharge, we like the peaceful and serene surrounding. The bed was very comfortable. We were here during the Christmas period and really enjoyed the Christmas Eve event put together by the resort. There were live food stations, live music, magic show and even fireworks. The staffs also dressed up as Santa and Santarina.

It was the monsoon season and there were a lot of mosquitoes in the compound. The selections for breakfast and at the Kelong seafood were very limited. The swimming pool water also looked a bit murky.

the villa was spacious and clean, we could spend time gazing at the sea and looking out for planes flying up high in the sky probably from Changi airport, service from the staff was warm and considerate, we were happy with the prompt service

the hotel is quite old though we think it had seen grand times, the dining room chairs were quite rickety

Have stayed in Batam View many times but this was the first time after the extensive renovation. Really enjoyed our stay, the rooms are all modern, mattress and pillows were nice and firm. The rooms and building were nicely renovated, the beach chairs near the private beach could be improved but Im sure its a work in progress. Really appreciated the privacy of beach. While there are obviously fancier hotels, what makes Batam View good is the excellent customer service - from the staff who picked us up at ferry terminal, to the transport, to the reception and banquet staff were all welcoming, especially to kids. Also appreciated the High Tea & Drink Coupons we got. Stayed with my 2 kids and we all enjoyed it. Thanks Batam View!

The areas near the beach could use an uplift in particular the beach chairs
