The Village Hotel Changi has been our Singapore hotel of choice for many years. We will definitely return and stay loyal, but there are signs that some renovations are needed. The bathrooms are getting a little shabby. As well, the free shuttle bus from the airport has always been a major draw card for us. This year we had to get taxis each way, as the shuttle service has a much reduced schedule with a long gap in the afternoon and no buses to meet early flights.

Taxi/Grab drivers often commented that the location was ‘on the edge’ of Singapore (too far from the centre). We didn’t have an issue with the location as it’s very close to the airport

I was unable to check into my hotel as the check in closed by the time my flight landed in Singapore so this place was a life saver booked last minute. The staff were so helpful and offered me late check out and to keep my bags for me the next day. The room is luxurious and the bed was just so comfortable I could’ve slept forever! I enjoyed the breakfast options and there is an infinity rooftop pool open for use currently with a nice view. Definitely recommend staying here albeit a bit further out from certain central places!

A little far out from downtown but worth it! Easy to access downtown via taxi or public transport though!

Very nice stay in Singapore-Changi. First of all this is an older hotel but has all the things that are needed - rooms are OK, basic stuff inside, but as expected and as in the offer. Nice bathroom. Not so nice of a view, but if someone is looking for a 1-2nights in Singapore this could be a great place because of few things: 1.They offer a shuttle bus service to/from the airport. And the description of where the bus arrives is TOP-NOTCH! 2.Luggage storage - so if you are on a layover flight or wannt a day in singapore you can use the luggage storage option and travel lightly throughout the day. There is a hawkers market, some restaurants nearby, and a ferry station to the little islands, as well as a bus station (BUS no 2 can take you to the city centre in about 90mins, and costs just over 2,5S$). And the personel is very helpful and very kind. Great work everyone!

Excellent property Spacious room, the staff was very friendly and accommodating A little far from the center but very relaxing and quiet place with lots of restaurants around. Bus stop is close by. Valina (the receptionist) was very helpful and provided a lot of information on moving around.

Although Hotel Changi was a bit remote it was a lovely enclave of older culture with markets around it. The people at the hotel were extremely helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Lim, one of the managers who took time to hear us out with questions about the area. The breakfast was a medley of Asian delights plus the usual western fare. So very delicious! A walk around the area is a must. Shuttle to and from airport made it more accessible. All staff were so helpful-remembering Sai one of the cleaners. The focus was to make your stay as positive as possible. Thank you ❗️

All the staff were so friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the pool was awesome. The location was close to the airport but in an area where you felt like you got a local experience which was cool. There were restaurants across the road at the civil services club which was handy.

Some parts of the outside of the hotel were a little run down but the rooms were great.

This hotel is about a 30 minute drive from the airport but it hosts a "free" airport shuttle which is great. The hotel is a bit dated and needs some refurbishment but the rooms are pleasant and clean. A good location for lots of food outlets, cafes and a few bars all within easy walking distance. A good sized swimming pool on the roof. You can sit and watch the planes land and takeoff. There is also a nice pool outside on the ground floor and a well presented and modern gym.

Needs some renovation. Food is quite expensive in the hotel They have a laundry room but again, it's quite expensive to use.

Not my 1st time stay at this hotel (maybe 4th or 5th) and that's always our choice coming back to the same hotel. My husband always says when he is at Changi village he feels so homely and quiet surrounding with good breeze and food availability is great. I met one staff whom recognized us straight away upon our check out and as usual he was friendly and professional. Keep up the good service👍

The recent stay the reception staff (not the Malay gal who helped me check in ..she was good) should be a little more professional and welcoming. They can't assume or judge by its cover
