Friendly staff , they were very welcoming, the room was comfy and clean the bed was so comfy and the pillows were perfect the bathroom was clean and the water pressure was awesome -the thing that stood out the most was how cool they were about the pool they turned on the heater just for me and my daughter and made us feel so welcome that’s not always the case for us . I absolutely loved my stay here- can’t get any better Tahoe an hr away Sly Park and jenkinson and the area is beautiful

The only thing is there’s no Taco Bell close by lol I can’t complain about anything it was awesome

Really nice hotel in a lovely town just an hour away from Lake Tahoe. My family and I enjoy lodging in Best Western hotels, so this one didn't disappoint. Very glad that we booked the last king suite available, which has a mini kitchen, extra sink, and extra bed!

Although not a deal breaker for us, the breakfast room has a fully automatic pancake maker, which keeps jamming anytime someone uses it. So, we always need an employee to run the machine. First time seeing one, so heads up for anyone eating here.

I was really impressed with the staff. The man that checked me in was fabulous, as was the man helping with breakfast the following morning. They were both super friendly, professional and eager to make my stay as great as possible.

I got a call from the front desk at 10:45am to see if I'd vacated the room yet. Didn't really bother me, but I've never had a hotel do that before. If it was a Thurs, Fri or Sat, I would have felt rushed. Luckily it was a Monday.

Trish was incredibly kind and accommodating during the check in process, going out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed and even gave me a list of local recommendations for dinner. The hotel is older but the rooms are spacious and have been updated with new flooring. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Good location tucked away in a residential part of town, but only a few minutes from restaurants, Safeway, and the freeway. Would be happy to stay again next time I am in the area.

The only hot breakfast item were eggs, no meat products.

Our room was a good size, with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Nothing was particularly fancy, but everything was clean and worked as it should. Wifi was very good. The breakfast room was small with many options, i.e., pancakes, eggs, cereal, muffins, etc. It was kept clean and stocked. Staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't use the pool, but saw others enjoying it. Our room had a balcony, looking over a back parking lot for larger vehicles, but there were also many wildflowers in view. There were several restaurants, a Safeway, and a CVS nearby.

Everything was fine.

Quiet location and really great to have a balcony if you love fresh air as we do. Great bed and big room. Lobby manager really helped us with some printing etc.

Some confusion over when breakfast was offered but no big deal. Had to clean someone else’s hair out of tub drain

There was so much over and above for hospitality from staff and owners, which made it more worth staying and coming back! The hotel is not what I expected, it was beyond my expectations for cleanliness. The staff the helped for breakfast was there to make sure there was enough food and coffee was excellent, not having to ask. I can't say anything bad for our stay, LOVED it. You don't get staff that treat you like family anymore and that is how we all were treated, LOVED LOVED everything

We have been in this motel just one night on the way to San Francisco. It met the expectations when being somewhere for one night only. People were friendly, room was clean, parking in front of the building. Simple breakfast. Supermarkets a few minutes by car. Pool available, unfortunately weather was too cold (due to hurricane Hilary). Summary: everything ok.

Spacious rooms, clean and comfortable. The service desk was friendly each time I was there. The balcony was a nice niche to look around.

I wish there was a chair on the balcony. Otherwise the place was perfect. Really minor defect in my opinion.

The scenery was just fabulous, beautiful and green. The trees around the area were beautiful.

No swimming pool or hot tub also the pillows were terrible extremely soft, no firmness. Head just sunk. 🤨
