Excellent breakfast, especially the egg and fresh juice. Well thought-out shelves and layout in the room. The location is easy to find and only few minutes walk from intercity bus terminal.

The room is a bit small but offset by the efficient layout using shelves and table so no issue. Payment by credit card is advertised as accepted but upon check in they did not prefer.

The hotel is close to the heart of the medina but also walking distance of the beach. The staff and owner are super nice and helpful! There is a big parking just next to the entrance of the medina and close to the hotel. Really nice terrace!

There is not a lot to not love about the hotel. We had a wonderful stay but here are somethings to keep in mind. Rooms maybe a bit small for some people or iff you are with 2 persons but for us its oke for us! Everything fitted well! Our room got a bit damp from showering sinds the window opened into the room but you can open the main windows and problem solved. Kids like to play football in the street next to the hotel but stop at a oke hour

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, Hammed in particular. The rooms are beautifully decorated. It’s incredible value for money. Breakfast on the terrace was a great way to start the day.

The room we had was small but you can easily book a bigger room if you needed. Our room also faced the road which could be noisy but equally you could book a room towards the back of the building and this wouldn’t be an issue.

- Room is very small, almost no space to put your luggage - a lot of noise from the street at night. The walls/window/door don’t isolate. It also doesn’t help that there is a table for breakfast right in front of the door of the room, as soon as someone’s up, you are as well. - the room doesn’t get dark at all. There are 2 thin white curtains, but they don’t block the light from the streetlanterns. Changing the curtains would make a lot of difference!

This is a superb little hotel in the most tranquil corner of the old Kasbah of Essaouira - a unique crossroad of Berber, Arab, Jewish, and even a bit of Portuguese culture. The hotel's modest rooms are under-stated, elegant and well-designed. There is a lot of hot water. The terrace is a great place to work in the day. The breakfast is delicious and more than ample and served by friendly staff. The owner is kind and regularly present. The manager, Hamid, is able to answer a lot of travel questions in French and English. I hope to return.

Very friendly small hotel just inside the city walls. Great for exploring the back streets and close to restaurants and the beach. Also easy walk to Supratours bus station. Rooms are small but comfortable. Shower was good - even on the top floor - and I had a view out over the street. Nice breakfast on the terrace or outside the room. Colourful decoration and quirky characterful place. Friendly staff on 24/7. Fine for a couple of nights.

My room was small - okay I was solo so it didn't matter but would have been a squeeze for two!

Hôtel Essaouira was exactly what I was looking for – clean, sunny, with helpful and kind staff, and an excellent breakfast. Despite having to work during my stay, I found my room comfortable enough, and the rooftop areas provided a pleasant environment to concentrate and get the job done.

Very clean. Charming. Rooms on small side but perfectly functional with shelves and hooks etc. Good, easy to find location. Hamed was great, spoke good English and French (or it seemed to me).

Internet was a bit spotty from room, not an issue unless you're working etc, did not check common areas. Was quiet at night, during sleeping hours, but rooms on frontside can be bit noisy with neighborhood noise... though you'd be out during that time.

Friendly staff, beautiful interior with attention to detail. Clean white sheets and towels (which you do not often get in Morocco) and nice soaps. 🧼 Overall felt myself comfortable – loved the terrace as well. ☀️

Bathroom could have been slightly tidier (please check the beds also – mine had a slight odour of cats territorial message.. 🐱) Also couple of different options on breakfast would be great.
