A fabulous riad, on a quiet street in the medina of Essaouira, yet within minutes of the heart of the main thoroughfares. Breakfast served on the terrace, fresh towels provided daily; friendly and attentive staff, laundry service can be arranged. We would thoroughly recommend this boutique-style accommodation, a pleasure to sit up on the roof terrace after a day spent on the beach or wandering the souks. As for Essaouira itself, one of the best most 'immersive in a different culture' holidays I've had.

The Riad is just amazing! All the incredible wood work and the mosaics but also the effort put into the furniture - just a beautiful house really. The best part were for sure our helpful and really nice hosts :) Karim, Tajeddine and Adnan were always friendly, had always a smile on their face and tried to assist us, whenever we needed something. Communication was really good. One evening we had dinner at the beautiful terrace and that was very good too. The parking is not too far away, you can easily walk down to the Riad. We dropped off our luggage first before parking and left the car there for 4 days, which only cost us 150 Dirham. All in all we can totally recommend this Riad!!

The breakfast is quite good (coffee a bit weak and omelette a bit thin) but served with such dedication by Zelmira in such a pretty setting that I would not change it for any other place.

My room was excellent, although I know the rooms can vary. They all face a staircase which can get noisy if you are a late morning person as people climb it to get to breakfast. But both the concierge and the cleaning lady are extremely helpful, cordial, and effective.

+ Location in the heart of Medina but on a cozy quiet street. Our room was big enough with one double bed and sitting area plus another double bed on the second floor. Toiletries and towels are provided, every day cleaning. Wi-Fi is fast but didn’t work at some parts of the room. A breakfast was the best out of all the other ones we had during our travelling in Morocco! Manager is nice and friendly person, speaks English. Other staff know French.

We had some issues with the bath drain as water was not go away for some time after a shower. But it didn’t spoil our stay at all. Also be careful with laundry if you have some clothes that can colour other ones during the washing. It’s better not to give them for a wash.

Very cute property at the entrance of the Medina. Great roof terrace for yoga. Lahssan was an excellent host. The best of it - he organised us nightly dinners at Chez Sayf - best restaurant ever!

The breakfast was a bit simple though, and came at random times. The rooms were not cleaned once/ thrash taken out once.

The location of the Riad was perfect, the bus station was located just 6 minutes away had no trouble finding the Riad upon arrival. Exploring Essaouira was very easy, shops and restaurants were close by. The room was cleaned every day and towels were changed on a daily basis. Good internet connection in the room and a nice, abundant breakfast every morning.

The Riad is very well decorated, the interior is beautiful - a very Moroccan experience for sure. The staff member Marwan was an absolute sweetheart and very attentive go all our needs. Although we had our language barriers (he didn't know English), he tried his best to communicate to the best of his ability with us. He used Google Translate a lot 😅 It is within the old Medina and perfect for us since it is within the tourist hub yet quite from the chaos.

Loved our stay! definitely booking to come back. Very welcoming and friendly management who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Great location, closed to everything and most of the spots and sights are nearby. It’s perfect for a walk around the city center. Really cozy and clean rooms. Breakfast is nice and plentiful. We highly recommend it.

Our stay at the riad was great - the location, facilities and staff were excellent. Good value for money, maybe a bit pricey, but definitely worth it.
