Absolutely everything, the room was a great size and very comfortable. The views from the roof terrace and our window outside were exceptional. The staff were outstanding and couldn't do more to help with any issues/questions we had. They were cheerful and pleasant every time we saw them. The location was perfect for easy access to everything and everywhere we wanted to go. We absolutely loved this riad and are looking to book again later this year and next year. It was exceptional value for money, and if I could give them 20 out of ten, it still wouldn't be enough. They really made our stay in Essaouira the best it could be and we can't wait to return. Outstanding staff and riad 👏👏 Oh and the breakfast was a fantastic start to the day and to be included in the room price was a great bonus. 💖

No coffee/tea service during the day, personally I think the room would benefit with a kettle and cups so we can make our own if we wanted to.

Excellent location, in the old city center, close to restaurants, beach and shopping. Dark room, no exterior window. Comfortable bed. Bathroom needs renovation. Water was leaking from under the bathtub. Poor breakfast - a boiled egg, a cube of melted cheese, a cube of butter, a sweet yogurt, bread, jam and honey, coffee or tea. Overall we felt good because the city has a pleasant vacation vibe.

The Riad is well located close to all the monuments and artisanal shops since it is in the middle of the Medina, plus it is also close to the beach a 10min walk which is practical. The staff is very flexible, welcoming and helpful. The Riad is clean and well equipped and the terrace breakfast was an interesting addition to it all.

Since it is located in the Medina there is some noise which could be a problem for lights sleepers so they should probably ask for a room in the second floor with an window looking inside not outside. Plus the breakfast doesn’t change which could be boring for a long stay.

Road in the best location right in the middle of Madina and easy to find. Room is comfortable and spacious. Surprisingly there is big bath tub inside

Our room no 26 got cat urine smell. Very hard to sleep.

Wonderful, high specification Riad in the centre of town. We were lucky and had a balcony overlooking the main street but double glazing and thick wooden doors kept the room quiet. Breakfast on the roof was lovely. We drove to Essaouria and parked in a £2 per day gated car park outside the city walls , safe for the rental car. Lots of guys with barrows available to take our luggage to the hotel for a few euros. It's about a ten minute walk - so that was very helpful. Recommended.

Very nice hotel, with nice decoration, good location in heart of Medina, opposite mosque, very helpful staff. Was a bit noisy when other guests started having rooftop breakfast, chairs scraping on tiled floor, but if you are early risers this will be no problem.

Shower curtain is too short so bathroom floor gets very wet. Very helpful staff who brought more towels. Noisy rooftop breakfast, but nice breakfast.

Central location right in the middle of the Medina. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was simple, but that was what I wanted, so worked for me.

The only drawback is that the street noise can be a bit loud in the evening and the azaan (call to prayer) in the morning is very close by, so can be disturbing for some. (I wasn't too bothered by it)

We loved everything about the Wind Palace. The hotel was very clean and beautiful architecture. Our room was spotless and spacious. We had booked a room with a balcony which made it all perfect as we had acres of light in the room and we could sit and watch the world go by from the balcony. Definitely pay the extra to have one of these rooms, it will make your stay perfect. The staff were always very helpful and the lovely breakfasts were continental and suited about needs . 10 out of 10 all round!

A gem of a place, perfectly located with fabulous views from the rooftop. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Fatima and Zouhair. Comfortable bed and very quiet despite being on a busy road. They kindly stored my luggage so I could explore unheeded. I would definitely recommend and would return.

We had a fair size room in this characterful hotel; breakfast of bread, warm pain au chocolate, yogurt and coffee was served on the rooftop terrace. Location is an easy walk from the bus station and many of the shops and restaurants in the medina.

There was no lift nor staff to assist with luggage nor was there any way to cool the room. The shower curtain did not reach the floor, leading to a flooded bathroom floor.
