If you like the beach is very short walk,if you like to explore Old Medina is perfect! Any age would love this location as it is quiet road but again all best night life spots are 5-10 minutes walk!We can’t Wait to come back again! Riad Beldy has been recently refurbished so property is very clean with tradicional Moroccan features that have warm and welcoming feel. Location is very short walk to the beach and all the popular restaurants and shops Are just couple of minutes away,but at the same time is very quiet little street and you can have good night sleep! The Staff at Riad Are incredible,always there to help with any enquieries and everyone speaks English as well as French!Traditional breakfast served is very genereous and delicious! Excellent value,top marks for everything and mostly you would never want to leave ! Thanks for looking after us and making our stay amazing experiance!

Riad Beldy offers a spacious and comfortable stay in the heart of Essaouira. Our two-level room was perfect for a group of five, featuring a private bathroom and plenty of space to relax. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the Medina and nearby attractions. A nice feature is the 'Restaurant Beldy' on the ground floor, serving delicious Moroccan cuisine in a cozy setting. I recently stayed overnight at Riad Beldy in the Medina and had a pleasant experience. The riad is conveniently located near public parking, with an overnight rate of 25 Dh, making it an excellent choice for those traveling to Essaouira by car. The location is ideal for sightseeing as well. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I also enjoyed the good breakfast provided. Overall, Riad Beldy is a comfortable and convenient place for an overnight stay.

Our top-floor room at Riad Beldy was a delightful retreat, perfect for three people with a comfortable double bed and a single bed. The space was a good size and well-designed, featuring a beautiful color scheme that added to the charm. The riad’s location made exploring Essaouira easy, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. While the rooftop could use a little extra care, the overall experience was relaxing and enjoyable. A great choice for those looking for a stylish and comfortable stay in the Medina.

The rooms were all right, the one on the lower floor having more character. The other room was on the top floor and some rooms were under construction. The included breakfast was served on the ground floor and it was OK, the usual Moroccan hotel breakfast. The location couldn't be more central and it's a quiet street.

They lock the front floor for the night and guests don't get a key for the door, which is strange and could be a serious in case of a fire or other emergency. They should change this.

Riad is located in the centre o medina which is great, it is simply decorated but you can feel moroccan atmosphere, very clean, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast it is typical moroccan one with delicious mint tea ( or coffee ) and freshly squeezed juice, freshly made and served on the terrace so you can enjoy sunshine while eating. The riad also has a restaurant open in the evenings where you can eat very good traditional food (tagine, couscous etc.) I definitely recommend it and I will definitely go back there. What's also great is that it's not a posh place, you can feel absolutely comfortable and at ease there.

Huge room with double bed on a mezzanine with 3 beds below. Comfy beds and great historical building, the only downside was the window was just to the centre of the riad so no view and lots of places in Essaouira do have great views. It was exactly as pictured however and very good value.

The Beldy is in a strategic position inside the medina of Essaouira. The staff is full of young and very nice people who speak good English like Reda and Ashraff, who were always attentive on all our requests. The riad is really nice and cozy, with our bedroom being a light-blue walled one with a super nice brown tadelakt bathroom and a lot of natural light. The rooftop terrace where we had breakfast was also very nice. Well protected on most sides, we never felt cold there even though the weather in Essaouira is almost always windy.

We would have enjoyed a bigger and more varied breakfast. This doesn't mean the breakfast was not good and tasty. The only other thing I have to point out, mainly for long-haired people, is a complaint from my girlfriend about the shower. Having long hair and needing to wash it, she experienced many drops in water pressure until not spraying water at all a couple times, and also the water temperature going from very hot to very cold. Everything else was fantastic

The rooms are much darker than shown in the photos. The same for all the internal space. The smell of canalisation in the bathroom and limited air extraction were disturbing. Also, pity that the roof terrace is not fitted out. It would be so pleasant to have breakfast or a coffee or to chill on the roof.
