The Riad was well located on the edge of the Medina but easy walking distance to taxis and the beach as well. We had a hire car and there was a car park just a couple of minutes walk from the Road (5€/night). All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was large, traditional in style and decoration with a seating area as well as the bed and a large shower and twin sinks. There was plenty of hot water and the room was cleaned each day. We had breakfast each day which was very good value when booked at the same time as the room.

Our room was facing onto the street and above the kitchen so it was noisy at times. However, it was generally quiet after 10pm and we had earplugs anyway. The room was also a little on the dark side and felt cold at times but this is a minor point really.

The staff always attempted to be helpful especially Mohamed. The room was excellent value for money. The bed was firm which was good for me. While the roof terrace had no view it was a lovely sun trap. Riad positions at edge of Medina which made a bit quieter and useful for Supratours.

We had room 4 which is internal facing. There was little natural light and the light bulbs used left a lot to be desired. The sound insulation wasn't great so we could hear everything that went on outside room including in other rooms. The room did feel a little damp though I don't know what Riad could do about this given structure of property.

Very good breakfast; and overall very good hotel

This is not minus 'per se' - but in this riad, and this is for many locations / riads in Morocco - rooms are not really sound-proof, there is only thin window separating room from the common area, so one can hear other guests. It wasn't a problem for us, but maybe somone with more sensitive sleep will find this info useful.

The staff who served us - Siham, Souad and Mohamed - were amazing. The location was excellent - it is within the Medina so very close to where everything happens and it is next to the small gate entrance to Medina so very easy for taxis. The room itself has good facilities - a comfortable bed and we had a cute terrace. The breakfast is lovely. Above all the price you pay is very much worth it.

At times the room smelt of smoke. I do not know the reason for this and I do not know if this applies to all rooms

The location of the riad is ideal, it is beautifully designed, blending traditional Moroccan architecture with modern comforts. Our room was spacious and very clean. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They were always available to provide recommendations for local attractions, arrange activities, or simply share stories about the rich culture of Essaouira. Their kindness and attention to detail truly made our stay special. I highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting Essaouira. We stayed only one night and we can say Mohamed and the staff were all more than just guest friendly, there was nothing we asked that wasn’t possible he direct us in wich places to visit in the Medina, casually met him in the city evenings and helped us search for jewels, there is nothing this riad can’t make possible! If you are looking for a nice place to stay in the Medina and near all the stores you will be more than satisfied in booking this hotel. The breakfast was great a lot of diversity and typical food. extras like luggage storage weren’t a problem. See you next year and thank you again!

The room is just like the pictures except older and more lived in. For example, there were cracks in the leather and faded paints, but other than that it’s just as pictured. Everything was clean. The host is very nice and helpful. The room was big, but the bathroom was even bigger. Huge shower. It’s a five minute walk from the Supratours bus station, so very convenient, though it’s in one of the windiest parts of the Medina, it’s also one of the quietest.

Everything. The room the breakfast the staff the attention to detail the location quiet and yet seconds away from the Medina. Absolutely perfection. Also near a tourist hammam. The breakfast was very detailed with yogurt breads fruit salad jams butter cheese eggs coffee tea fresh orange juice etc. The staff always had a smile, always kept the rooms clean and were available to answer any questions.

Nothing. Was very happy here during my stay. Tons of local eateries nearby and still very quiet and accessible to the beach and rest of essoirrua

It was my second time at the riad, and just like before, it was absolutely beautiful. The staff were incredibly helpful the man who welcomed us during check-in, the kind lady we met in the evening, and the polite housekeeping lady all made our stay even more pleasant. They even allowed us to leave our luggage for a few hours after check-out. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Very very good breakfast. Good location close to the border of the medina, what made it pretty silent. The staff was awesome. The terrace and the room were nice.

The room smelled a little odd whenever you closed the window to the terrace for a longer period of time. Unfortunately though ants got into the room when you opened that window.
