My room (single) had been excellently renovated to high spec, was very clean and well furished. The owners were a very welcoming and happy family, always available to help. The breakfast was a nice selection too. It is located very close to several major lifts, perfect for skiing or hiking without a need for the bus 5 min walk maximum. The property may be on the main road but with windows shut this is not as issue. I think the pictures don't do the property justice! This was an amazing value stay in Val Gardena

Very minor point but my single room was in the eves, with the bed under the sloping roof. I only hit my head once, but anyone taller than me (5"8.) Might have to duck getting up from bed! That wasnt mentioned in the room description.

Very nice location close to the lift, but a bit quieter than the centre. Renovated room was very comfortable with a big wardrobe. The family running the place was extremely friendly, there was no problem with arriving in the night and very early morning breakfast (which was also very good). On-site restaurant was also good.

The only thing that they should take more care about was the smell of cigarettes... it was fine in the room, but sometimes very smelly on the corridors and some of the towels smelled like cigarettes so for us, as nonsmokers, it was impossible to use them. Other than that- all great.

It was a very nice and cosy place. Owner and staff were super kind and helpful. Owner of the villa guided us and helped us to find efficient starts for our hikings. We had breakfast included and we enjoyed it very much. Different type of traditional cheese, salami and bread was served during breakfast. Room was clean and fresh. The location was good as well. It took 5-10mins to walk to the center of Selva and drive 15mins to Ortisei. There was 20mins bus to Ortisei too. We definetly enjoyed our stay in Romatik villa cesanueva and can recommend it.

Villa Cesanueva is a beautiful traditional house freshly renovated into a very comfortable hotel with a few modern touches without losing the warmth of the original place. You feel right at home: the familial feeling that comes from the staff, wonderful breakfast and cozy rooms overlooking the river and valley are just perfect for a stay in val Gardena. Highly recommended!

Very clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated in all of the common areas. Excellent breakfast. Very nice updated bathrooms. The ski room was amazing with deluxe lockers for all ski equipment. Close to ski lift and very short walk into town. Very lovely!

Everything was great but, I thought that it would be ski in/out.

Excellent place. Very helpful staff. Gave us tips and helped us change our plans. It made excellent impact on our trip. The location is perfect - not in the middle but not too far, so it gives you privacy and quiet and all places are in walking distance. we had a balcony. we had breakfast, we had excellent service and great time. thank you !

Everything was just great. Very cozy yet comfortable in the center of Selva, close to ski lifts. Good breakfast, dinners under reservation. More importantly, great staff - friendly, positive, very attentive and helpful! Kudos to Freddie!

Bed could be a bit small for tall people.

Freddy the owner couldn’t do enough for us on our short stay here. On arrival after hours of riding our Motorcycle we were greeted with a couple of beers. The location is fantastic. The rooms were clean, modern and have a fantastic view of the Dolomites. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Cesanueva is one of the most charming, comfortable, convenient and hospitable stays we have had out of many in various parts of the world. Every inch of this small, boutique hotel is purposefully designed. Authentically Alpine yet contemporary, the feel of the entire hotel evokes Tyrolean warmth and tradition in a sophisticated and sleek wrapper. We stayed for a week-long ski vacation. Indoor ski storage is secured (just for your room) large, and air-warmed so that skis, boots, helmets and gloves are completely dry and warm in the morning. Buffet breakfast offers plenty of options with eggs and coffee quickly and efficiently made to order. Our room with a balcony was perfect for two - warm, with a rain water shower head and bidet in the newly remodeled bathroom. This is a family owned and operated business which employees a very friendly staff to serve guests and keep the place spotless. The host is very response and accommodating, offering suggestions on the mountain,  ski rentals and just great conversation. We ate dinner twice at the restaurant on premises, Speck Keller - it is incredibly convenient to have a restaurant with top notch cuisine right downstairs after a hard day of skiing. You'll need reservations for one of the seatings (6:30 & 8:30) as it is one of Selva's oldest and most popular spots.

Nothing really, great base for the Dolomites.
