Hotel Somont was absolutely incredible!!! Location is amazing very close to many restaurants and the bus stop. The wellness centre including the saunas and pool was beautiful after a day of hiking, as well as the hotel bar for a drink. The buffet breakfast had a huge variety of food and was absolutely delicious. The view from our room of the mountains was another highlight and was so beautiful. The staff were lovely, great communication and assistance throughout our stay. We will definitely be back! I could not recommend this place enough.

It was excellent ski in / out for the property straight off the sellaronda orange. The food was excellent, quite delicate and authentic. The staff were very attentive, professional and very polite. The ski and boot room was excellent, lots of space. We all enjoyed the decor as well.

This is not a hotel issue but as an Australian family (wife and daughter) we were a little confronted that when we went into steam / sauna room we were confronted with full nudity men. It was a shared gender facility and this was quite off putting.

We absolutely loved my stay at the property! The property itself was beautiful and charming. The location was perfect, close to town and amenities and easily accessible for all of the areas I wanted to visit, yet nestled in a peaceful area. The room was incredibly comfortable, and well equipped. Everything was spotless, and I could tell that cleanliness was a top priority. The amenities were good especially the breakfast options, which added so much value to my stay. But what really stood out was the exceptional service—the staff were so friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Following issues with a delayed flight and travel to the hotel, we were helped immensely by the most kind and lovely host/staff member, who couldn’t have helped us more and accommodated our late/early morning arrival; which we were extremely grateful for. The overall atmosphere was warm and inviting, making my experience truly unforgettable. I can’t wait to come back and highly recommend.

We stayed here for a ski trip in February: Nice facilities with swimming pool, spa, restaurant.. and modern ski room. Room was spacious with a cabin vibe. Lovely and very helpful staff.

Although the location is near a lot of points (busstop, café, bars, rental shop), the ski-out is flat and you can't "start" from the hotel as you need speed. So you end up walking in the snow instead. The ski-in is a bit better as you come with a pace from the slopes. ... but I will stay here again despite, because of all the pros :))

Much better than expected! Everything was renovated and looked brand new - without losing its „alp coziness“. The spa area was also much better than expected, three types of sauna and an infrared cabin as well as a pool and whirlpool! The room itself was rather small and a bit „crammed“ but the balcony had Mountain View’s, was huge and made up for a rather small chamber. The bathroom was extremely clean and spacious - which was nice! Location is perfect too, very close to the bus station where you’ll get busses that take you anywhere - langkofel, seissler alm (starting the hike from st Ulrich) and even to passo pordoij for a hike up to piz boé (3216m).

The outside area / garden shows lounge / chillout furniture on the pictures. In real life there were none, so unfortunately we could not spend relaxing mornings in the garden or reading a book after our hikes, as we originally planned. That was the only thing that could be improved during the summer months :)

Like something out of a story book!!! The rooms were just lovely, the location amazing, the staff so friendly & accommodating, the facilities fantastic, & the food…wow!!! Some of the most wonderful dishes served. We can’t wait to go back!

A perfect hotel!

We loved our stay at Hotel Somont. Great location - a short walk to bars, restaurants and gondolas. The room was perfect - spacious, amazing views and modern. Breakfast was delicious.

Nothing. But air con or a good fan in the rooms would be a recommendation for the summer months.

Traditional and modern design The room has all essentials, is clean and can be completely blacked out at night. The bed is very comfortable. They offer private garage with extra cost. They have ski storage room, in summer can store bicycles. The staff are very friendly and helpful, provided service beyond our expectations.

The staff were incredible ! So helpful and friendly. Remembered our coffee order at the breakfast buffet each morning. The wellness centre included with sauna and spa and pool was lovely.

The pillows could’ve been comfier. Our bathroom window faced onto someone else’s balcony directly.

The location is perfect not far from the central town and spa facilities after a good hike, the staff were very welcoming.

The room could have more facilities like kettle & tea bags and fan as the summers in the region could be pretty warm
