Beautiful little hotel with lovely staff. Everything was perfect - beautifully presented meals at their restaurant (Nori), lovely room, cute pool. We used the shuttle service which goes to/from Ubud three times a day. We also booked an 8hr day trip to East Bali and the cost was better compared to taxi or external tour. Adhi drove and spent the whole day with us - we really enjoyed his company, he took us to lots of different places, gave us recommendations and shared a lot with us about Balinese culture. The staff were all really friendly and accommodating - special thanks to Risma and Noulam and the Nori staff, Candra and the front desk staff, and of course to Adhi!

One of the best stays we’ve had – everything was perfect! We absolutely loved everything about this hotel — from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. First of all, the welcome was wonderful. All the staff were incredibly polite, warm, and friendly — everyone greeted us with a smile. The reception girls were amazing and made us feel truly cared for. The property is not big and cozy, which gives it a special charm. The only thing we didn’t expect was a small construction area on-site. But honestly, it was barely noticeable, and the noise didn’t bother us at all. It’s worth knowing that the hotel will soon become even bigger and more beautiful — we’re looking forward to seeing it when it’s done! The restaurant was simply outstanding — every meal was delicious, and the breakfasts were exceptional. Truly a highlight of our stay! We also want to give a big thank you again to the reception team, especially PRAMI, and to the management, who went out of their way to accommodate a special request we had. It really made our stay unforgettable, and we left extremely happy and satisfied. I’m more than sure that not every hotel offers such a high level of care and service. Another special highlight was the spa, which I visited four times — and each visit was pure bliss. Huge thanks to KANTI, who truly helped me relax and forget about everything. It was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. For future travelers: the hotel offers small rooms in the main building, as well as standalone cottages and villas with private pools. The absolute highlight for us was the One Bedroom Pool Villa — it was incredibly beautiful and gave us that perfect, peaceful getaway feeling. Some reviews mentioned that there’s nothing nearby or nowhere to go — but that’s absolutely not true. There is a lovely local Indonesian restaurant within walking distance, and getting to the heart of the area takes just 10 minutes by car or bike.

I stayed in five different places during my trip to Bali, and this was by far the best. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but in my opinion, it’s well worth it. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. The complimentary 15-minute welcome massage was such a lovely touch — a definite win! The grounds are absolutely stunning and immaculately maintained; it truly felt like a little slice of heaven. I stayed in a suite which was the perfect size for me. I believe the standard rooms might be a bit on the smaller side, so something to consider. The staff were always incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful whenever I called. I would return in a heartbeat. Loved Amarea. Loved Ubud. What a special place.

We had an amazing stay here, complimentary 15 minute massage in there spa, the restaurant is easily 5 stars when comparing with London, such a high standard in service & quality of dishes. A special thank you to Adhi who helped us organise our day trips and worked as our tour guide for the day taking us to each key attraction in Ubud, he made this stay particularly memorable for us. The staff are all so welcoming, smiley & friendly - I genuinely can’t fault our stay in ubud, room was lovely, cold air con, free water, a lovely bathroom space. We have stayed in Dubai, Florida, Turkey resorts and this did compare to those standards.

Nothing - it is a marvelous hotel!

The hotel was great! Lovely staff in the reception, especially Candra. She gave us a warm welcome, communicated clearly and was very friendly. We had a 15-minute welcome massage, which was so good. The room was beautiful!

The breakfast was good, although the staff had a bit of attitude towards us when told about dietary restrictions, and we were made to feel like an inconvenience to this particular staff member. However, staff at lunch and dinner times were great!

Excelent staff and services! I totally recommend this hotel! The prices are higher compared to Bali, but here everybody is smiling and is helping without waiting for money. The design of the room is very nice and we didn’t have mosquitoes or geckos in the room. The cleaning was extremely detailed, they arranged us all the clothes. Breakfast was also good and i liked that there is an a la carte menu ti choose from. Pool is instagramable, but smaller that what we expected. Congrats to everybody for keeping this hotel like this!

A bit of bad smell in the shower

We recently stayed at Amarea Resort Ubud and had an unforgettable experience. Our group of four friends chose to stay in one of their villas, and it was the perfect decision. The villa itself was luxurious and spacious, providing us with plenty of room to relax and enjoy our stay. One of the standout aspects of our visit was the non-stop room service. The convenience of having everything we needed delivered to our villa made our stay incredibly comfortable. The menu offered a wide variety of delicious options, and each dish was prepared to perfection. The staff at Amarea Resort Ubud were among the sweetest and most attentive we have ever encountered. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, always greeting us with warm smiles and a willingness to assist with any request. The resort's serene and beautiful surroundings added to the overall experience. We felt completely immersed in the natural beauty of Ubud, with lush greenery and tranquil views everywhere we looked. Overall, our stay at Amarea Resort Ubud was exceptional. The combination of luxurious accommodations, excellent service, and the incredibly kind staff made it a trip to remember. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a perfect getaway in Ubud.

Absolutely nothing.

The staff is truly amazing! Bella, Candra and Warsa were so sweet and caring! But everyone really was. Special thanks to their driver Warsa, he was extremely kind and even took me to the hospital when I was feeling unwell. He stayed with me the whole time and comforted me, this meant so much to me especially since I’m travelling alone. I enjoyed my stay at Amarea. The massage I got was very good! It’s a very cute room as well, and I loved the outdoor bathroom!!

Absolutely Outstanding Experience The food was absolutely excellent – some of the best we've had in Bali. Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were truly amazing – incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their warm hospitality made our stay even more special. Highly recommended!

The only downside was the ongoing construction next to our room.

Small boutique hotel with friendly excellent service. Cool amenities (an Alexa in the room!). Everything is clean. They provided a functioning common kitchen with large dining table. Internet works flawlessly. Huge bathtub. Hot water works everytime.

Location might be a bit daunting if you don't ride a motorcycle/have a car. Street is also quite dark, although I can assure you it is safe because I used to live in that very street a few years ago.
