Jorge and his family were wonderful and treated us with such care and kindness. We arrived late in the evening after a long day of travel and it was the reset we needed to be welcomed with Jorge's joyful smile and energy. The room was cozy and charming and had a stunning view of the mountain. You could hear the river and see all the stars from all rooms. Optimal location. You are a few minutes walk to the main square and the ruins and also just down one flight of stairs to main road for easy drop off/pick up for car service transfers. Super quiet and peaceful and homemade breakfast.

There were slight quirks that could be improved: there weren't enough hooks (we had to choose between hanging towels or jackets), outlets on one side of the masterbed but not the other, the previous guest broke the shower handle controller so figuring out the right temperature was a little finicky the first night.

The place is immaculately clean, the host warm and welcoming, the rooms and beds very comfortable, breakfast fresh and tasty. Location is a few minutes away from the central square and all the markets, restaurants and cafes you could wish for. Despite being so close to the square though, due to the thick walls we couldn't hear the celebrations and loud music from the anniversary celebrations that were taking place, quite amazing. We stayed for two nights, but with hindsight would have stayed for another before heading up to Cusco. The shower was slightly temperamental (wasn't a consistent hot water flow), and the local stray dogs did at times disturb sleep, otherwise can't fault it. Great place to stay in Ollantaytambo, would highly recommend.

This guest house is located just next to the main square of the village. The view from our room was amazing as we could see directly the historical site of Ollantaytambo. We had to leave early in order to catch the train for Machu Picchu so we couldn't have breakfast but still the owner left us some staff to take with us. Also he helped us print everything we needed. We recommend this guest house.

The room was really clean but unfortunately when we closed the curtains for the night a small scorpion fell down. Luckily he didn't touch us.

Last minute stay because we returned from Cusco back to Ollantaytambo due to altitude sickness. and wish we had stayed here for our entire trip to Ollantaytambo earlier. We stayed in many places all over Peru and this was the best place we stayed in. Hot showers, very comfortable beds, lots of pillows, heated, and beautiful. The owner treated us like family. Breakfast was ready at a table for us in the morning as soon as we came downstairs. Tea available whenever you like. After freezing in some places and suffering from uncomfortable beds, we wish we had known about this place all along. We didn't want to leave. We wish them the best in their business in the future 💛

Very comfortable, and great value for money. Jorge was so welcoming and helpful, and the location of this place is great (although see note below about access). The network of old laneways was just so pretty, and we were very happy we chose to stay at Parwa.

It would have been great to have ventilation in the bathroom, although I get that this is an old area of town (and I loved that!) so it’s probably difficult to do that in an old building. The closest access from a street that a car can access is about 15m away down a few steps - wasn’t a problem for us at all; but some guests might find that difficult.

The Parwa guest house is located in a perfect location for getting a quiet night's rest. It is a quick stroll down the beautiful streets to the main square and has picturesque views of the surrounding mountains. The host Jorge is kind, friendly, and accommodating. He made a fantastic recommendation for a restaurant nearby which we ate at almost every meal! The accommodation is nicely decorated with a personal touch and the breakfast was fresh, with coffee or tea served as well. Thank you to the staff and Jorge for such a pleasant stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Parwa Guest House. They were able to accommodate us after a return from Machu Picchu, which was unfortunately delayed due to train issues. While the passenger van was not able to enter the street, Jorge was able to instruct us on how to get to the building. He helped with our bags and the late check-in. The temperature of the room was perfect and beds were comfortable. I slept the best I had during my trip in Peru. Our room was right by the entrance but it didn't feel like the noise and comings and goings of guests was distracting. The breakfast was a great selection including fresh fruits and bread. The Guest House building itself was beautiful and I enjoyed exploring every corner of the courtyard and various terraces. If we stayed longer, I think it would've been beautiful place to rest outdoors and gaze at the mountains all around.

Location is not something that could be changed. However, I did like its spot in the old town of Ollantaytambo, which is walkable to the plaza. It's something to be aware of if you're going with a group or lots of luggages- cars, especially vans, are not easily accessible. We took a tuk tuk and then there are stairs up from the main road (once again grateful for helping with my bags!). But overall, liked the place and wish we could've stayed one or a few days more!

Parwa Guest House is the perfect base for enjoying Ollantaytambo. You are in the center of things and can walk everywhere in 5-15 minutes (the main plaza is 5 minutes away, the Incan sites 5-10, the train station 15) and yet Parwa Guest House is quiet and calm. (Ollantaytambo is a pretty mellow town too.) The hosts are amazingly welcoming and helpful. The rooms were comfortable, bright and nicely appointed - not super fancy but with touches (like comfortable beds with plenty of pillows) that make you feel pampered. Breakfast was healthy, plentiful and tasty (fresh fruit, fresh juice, fresh bread, eggs, yogurt, granola and coffee and tea).

There was nothing to complain about. We loved our stay and would recommend Parwa Guest House to all. The only reservation would be that you have to be able to walk up stairs for most of the rooms. I did notice one room by the front door that would be the easiest to access. But Ollantaytambo is a hilly, cobblestoned town, so getting around would be challenging for someone using a wheelchair.

We stayed here at the very beginning of our trip. Jorge was so welcoming and helpful! The location is incredible--you can hear the Rio Patacancha just outside, view the archeological park right outside your windows, and walk anywhere in town. Super comfortable, lots of character, delicious breakfast, gorgeous little garden for relaxing after dinner. We couldn't imagine a more perfect stay in Ollantaytambo.

That we eventually had to leave.

A comfortable place to stay at a convenient location. Friendly staff, and breakfasts were tasty.

The only issue with the room was a broken shower faucet which made it cumbersome to adjust the water temperature. An issue on our 3rd night was beyond the guest house's control, as a rock band with excessively loud amplification played until the wee hours somewhere nearby in the small town of Ollantaytambo (by the way, a beautiful place). This was after an exhausting outing to Machu Picchu and we had looked forward to a peaceful night.
