Great location, very clean, polite and friendly hotel staff. Air conditioning really helped during 39o summer in Paris. Good sound isolation, we didn't hear any noise, when windows was close. Cute interior, comfortable mattresses.

1. Really small shower cabin with doors closing inside. If you are higher the 190, you will be hit your head in ceiling shower. If you're wider than 40cm, you won't fit at all or won't close doors( 2. The toilet door is sliding, so there is a big gap between door and wall. 3. Only one hook for a hand towel. No idea, where to put other towels( 4. No hooks or shelves for street clothes and bags. One stool for everything, but it was busy with towels)

Pros - great location for transportation, shops, restaurants and market. Very comfortable and clean. Staff extremely helpful and kind - many thanks to the night and day reception staff on 18-21 March … Didn’t hear the other guests once they got in their rooms big plus ! The lift is small but works big plus. Cons - bathroom can use a face lift but that’s just cosmetics A coffee machine in the room would have been the icing on the cake but there was a coffee point in the reception area not the best.. I’d stay there again Didn’t know about the 5 euro a day tax !

Im very surprised that this hotel has a low rating here, because it’s actually a great option with a perfect location. The staff were incredibly nice — always friendly and helpful. I arrived early, and they checked me into my room right away. I also left my luggage at the hotel before my flight, which was very convenient. I recently stayed at Villa Margaux Opéra Montmartre during my solo trip to Paris, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with my experience. The hotel’s location is perfect—just a short walk to Montmartre and easily accessible to other major attractions. It was the ideal base for exploring the city. The staff (Momo, Arhme, Sam, and Peter) were all incredibly professional, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. I’d like to highlight Momo in particular, who truly went above and beyond. His recommendations were spot on for a first-time solo traveler like myself, and he made me feel welcomed and comfortable. His suggestions added a lot to my Paris experience, and I’m very grateful! The hotel itself was clean, cozy, and offered a delightful Parisian breakfast each morning, which was the perfect start to my days. I highly recommend Villa Margaux to anyone looking for a convenient, welcoming, and comfortable stay in Paris.

Great little place within walking distance of the Moulin Rouge and the metro. Nice, friendly staff and lovely breakfast each day. It was compact but the size worked well for us and it is a busy city centre so this was expected.

As you got out of the lift you had to be careful not to step too far right or you might fall down the stairs! Bathroom did not have a lockable door and left a small gap when slid across to shut which is ok if you know your travelling companion very well but less so if you are not so familiar with each other! Toilet also blocked quite easily with paper. No kettle in the bedroom either although that seems to be more common these days everywhere!

Super nice and helpful staff. great area and very clean room. I was able to store my luggage after the check out. the staff greeted me everytime in my swiss language which was a cute gesture. I had very noisy neighbors that were screaming and talking so loudly until morning 1, when I told the staff about it they actually did try to solve it.

Don't forget to bring a toothbrush and conditioner since they don't offer that. Also keep in mind that the showers are very small. im 175 tall and 80kg and I barley could move in the shower.

Amazing location. Walking distance from Sacre Coeur, Moulin Rouge and Opera Garnier. A lot of restaurants nearby, much cheaper than the ones in centre. 2 Metro station nearby. The personal was very polite, offered free breakfast on the day of departure. Also close to Gare du nord for the ones that arrive from CDG airport or Eurostar trains. The room was cozy and the view from balcony very nice. Definitely recommend!!!

Location was amazing, near the Montmartre. We got lucky and got an amazing view from the balcony to the Sacré-Cœur. It was nice that near the hotel there were all the metro and bus stations. Also can't miss on mentioning that near there are cheaper but still very good food places. Even though the room was small, we felt very welcomed because of the lovely staff. They were very helpful, amazing and kind. Every time we come back to the hotel we felt welcomed just like we would be at home.

The only thing that was a bit hard to get used to was the small rooms, but I guess that's typical for Paris :D. For breakfast, it was good, but no fruit or vegetables.

Warm, homely Mo makes you feel welcome appreciated and valued. That hotel is family that's how you feel. You actually a part of family not a guest. It's very rare to get that in a hotel. I am a flight attendant for more than 20 years never have I felt like that. I was with my daughter 19 yrs. She was also treated like family. Breakfast was awesome the young lady who works that is the best, actually the whole staff.

The noise you could hear from the road but it's manageable.

Location was great, close to montmarte up the hill which was amazing to see. Great metro links and food nearby, and close to Moulin Rouge which was ideal for us. All hotel staff we met couldn’t do enough for us and were really helpful throughout the stay.

Property is a little bit tired but doesn’t have a detriment to the stay. Probably hits the mark for cost and rating
