I was a guest at Sunset Vacation Condos @ Jesselton Quay in Kota Kinabalu in February and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. I encourage you to choose the side with a sea view when booking. The view is wonderful. The hotel is very well organised, even though there is no reception. You can easily pick up a key on the 32nd floor while enjoying a wonderful panorama of the sea and the city itself. The rooms are clean and tidy and the glazing from top to bottom allows you to enjoy the beautiful view out the window. You could prepare a meal in the kitchenette. It is close to the harbour and the city centre. In particular, I am delighted with the service of the Sunset Vacation Condos @ Jesselton Quay hotel in Kota Kinabalu. As it happened, when I was leaving I left a valuable item in the room for me. I quickly contacted the staff who acted quickly. They sent my package to the hotel in Kuala Lumpur where I was due to be in a few days. I am very grateful for the openness, great contact and quick response of the hotel staff. Everything! Affordable, spacious, private parking, easy check in & out, owner is very responsive. Suitable for family of 5, cozy and most importantly very quiet surrounding no car speeding sound i have a good night sleep as i am such a light sleeper. Towels, shampoo & body soap provided, got electric kettle, hairdryer and iron some more. Near to suria sabah & gaya street which i love. On top of it got sea view some more, and it is very calming makes you don't want to go out, stay inside only. Forgot to mention got wifi and netflix is provided!

Nothing, i love this place and surely will stay here again.

First of all, I text the host (Michelle) within 20 minutes to arrive and she responded fast and once we arrived, she s already there to give us the key and collect the deposit. I love the place cause it s same as the picture in booking.com. The place is clean and the facilities are all there ( iron, ironing board, hair dryer, utensils in the kitchen, microwave, heater and big icebox) feels like home :) Will definitely come here again for next stay !!

You can hear from master bed and the door locked is broken, maybe can fix sooner. My kids can easily just unlocked it.

This new building in Tower 1 is such so splendid to stay. I and my sisters enjoyed the scenic beauty of the sea from sunrise to sunset. It was indeed a very spectacular experience to be in jesselton. When my friends saw my pictures at the condo, they were so amazed about it. They reckoned even that it was indeed worth the price, which I also agreed. Thank you, Jesselton Seaview Sunset Vacation! The pool is not yet available during our stay and it makes us sad about it. I think they are closing it for meantenance thing or whatsover.

- Weak internet or almost hard to get the connection - Kid Can't really enjoy the Netflix as the net was extremely poor

The location is superb! got swimming pool for kids' section and adult section. convenience stores and restaurants available at the ground floor which is very convenient for guests. Also got treadmill for exercise at the top! No need to wait for property keys collection.

The table and chairs are so high. Not convenient for kids to eat.

Nice view, clean and very comfortable.. once the swiming pool ready, it will be a perfect place for a fmly to stay

Excellent location and strategic. The unit looks very new and clean. Self check-in. 24 hours security. Netflix and Internet available. 100% recommendable.

We are looking forward to the opening of some recreational facilities such as swimming pool, gymnasium and restaurants, etc.

Clean and comfortable room with a lovely view. Location is ideal for island hopping as its right next to ferry terminal. There's also a 24 hour mart at lobby level which was great for a family. Free parking and kitchen was a plus.

Our WiFi signal was weak or non-existent throughout. We couldn't watch Netflix or use the laptop for long as it would stop. Ended up using our own data service as we needed to work. The building can get very noisy. There's constant traffic of tourists in the hallway and around the building. We had people ringing our bell by mistake, kids running outside, and even someone trying to unlock the door!

The place was great, spacious for the price and with very good view.

It is hard to park legally as I am using a high roof van. Had to wait for the limited legal parking which is only a few (less than 10).. I only was able to park there after midnight.. So there is inconvenience of risk of getting fined for illegal parking. Otherwise the place is great.
