The place was even better than the pictures online. It was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. Somehow, the cottage was homey and elegant at the same time. The bathroom was huge, and the shower was great. The breakfast options were plentiful and generous. The proprietress was not present, but she was responsive and proactive in providing check-in and out instructions and sending us dining options in advance. We had a delightful stay and wished we had booked a two-night stay instead of one.

This is not a dislike but more of a convenience. It would have been even better if there had been two bathrooms instead of one, as there were four of us.

It was a beautiful, peaceful setting. There was a gas fire which heated the 2-bed cottage wonderfully and despite the cold, wet weather the cottage stayed warm enough overnight. The kitchen had what we needed and we could have taken food to cook for dinner if we’d wanted to. They provided the makings for breakfast. After we came back from dinner we were able to watch a movie using the apps logged into the smart TV.

The beds were comfy enough but would have been better with some sort of pillow top.

The main aspect of this property that was awesome was the care and attention that went into every detail, from the choice of pillows and bed linen to the beautiful gardens and the health of the farm animals. Rebecca was lovely - so kind and helpful.

I cannot think of a thing

Absolutely Everything was perfect! So inviting, super clean and just beautiful ☺️ Rebecca was a wonderful host and greeted us upon arriving. The photos do not do this lovely cottage justice! The choice for breakfast was great and the property was outstanding. We only wished we had more time to stay.

Accommodation was great, modern facilities and had everything we needed. the surroundings were beautiful and our kids loved all the animals.

The accommodation environment is very good. The service was very considerate. When I was about to leave the next day, I found that the tire was out of air. The landlord enthusiastically helped me change the tires. Highly recommended.

Had everything you would need and more. The little touches made the difference, the robes, all the supplies for breakfast, the friendly greeting by the host with lots of local information.

Not staying longer

Loved the location and the size of the cottage. It was only a few min from the shops and 15 min from Avalon Castle where we attended a wedding. The cottage was was very spacious for 3 people and there were 2 bedrooms

Everything! Had everything a five star accommodation has plus more. Scenery beautiful. The cottage immaculate, very comfortable, with everything you need from cappuccino maker to fireplace..which was so warm. Bec the owner a lovely lady…very welcoming and helped us to get to our wedding when our taxi didn’t appear! Would highly recommend!!

Everything was just perfect Very clean and excellent communication with everything we needed.Also very well organised and kept very good condition..will definitely recommend staying again.
