The property was clean and the swimming pool was clean, it’s located on the river. The people that run this property are very kind and friendly, especially Ranji, he’s exceptional and the lady that does the Ayurveda treatment is also very good. The owners son, Dinesh does the river safari and his knowledge is excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed the river cruise. He took me to the beach and a restaurant on his boat. Also the breakfast was lovely.

We had a fantastic stay at Residence Jasmine. A beautiful quiet spot on the river. Our room was spotlessly clean and had a lovely hot shower. The breakfasts were excellent - lovely juices. The Wi-Fi worked very well. We had a wonderful boat trip from the hotel along the river and saw some incredible wildlife. The pool was lovely and also very clean.

Location was nice right on the river and a short trip to different beach options and good food. The pool was really great! And friendly staff

I like firm beds but the beds were rock hard and my group all slept poorly on them.

What a stunning place. Run by a beautiful family. So relaxed. Rooms great spotless. Food perfect, family as you expect in Sri Lanka so pleasant and welcoming. Took the opportunity to have a river safari which was brilliant sammy water sports 10 out of 10. So knowledgeable. Overall accommodation 10 out of 10. We will be back hopefully when the moon is full and the fishing is good.

We loved our stay at Residence Jasmine and were very well looked after for the duration. We had a great time kayaking over to Bentota beach, waterskiing (in the rain!) and relaxing by the pool. Breakfast was the only meal we had during our stay but was very good so have no doubt that other meals would be of a similar standard

Super friendly ad helpful family run business. Anything you needed was no trouble. Lovey Riverside location close to amenities. Quiet backwater.

Maybe little things like a bin in the room, bathroom mat, cups and glasses. However, provided when asked for.

Great family run place. Clean and met all our needs. Lovely fresh breakfast. Make sure to arrange a boat lagoon cruise with them. It was a fantastic experience. Higly Recommend. We also recommend their Ayurvedic center, had 2 great procedures. Thank You Residence Jasmine!

This place is a hidden gem of the places in Sri Lanka and we visited many during our three months stay. Lovely clean air-conditioned rooms and apartments. Fantastic breakfast included with fresh juices, eggs and fruits.You are truly looked after by this lovely family. The river view is amazing not to mention all the water sport activities on offer. You get the best of both river and totally empty beach of Bentota where you can be transported for free by boat ( literally 2 minutes). The buzzing city of Aluthgama is minutes walk with all the shops and restaurants.Train Station is 100 rupees away by tuk tuk. Location is perfect as it is only just over an hour by train from Colombo and just over an hour to Weligama or Mirissa. Tranquility of this place will help you to completely switch off your mind or in my case work remotely ( also good Internet provided ). It is the hidden gem of Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 at very affordable price. I recommend this place from with 100% confidence.

I liked all aspects of this place. As a bit of advice get your mosquito repellent.They only active for a couple of hours in early morning and evening but worth to be prepared.

We enjoyed great breakfast (fresh juice, eggs, toasts, fruits and delicious coffee), clean pool, comfortable room, 2 minutes boat-ride to the beach and the most precious "feels like home" atmosphere!
