Traveled to Sheffield, England for the first time for sport games, which the location is perfect for. The area is also very safe and quiet. There’s light rail within walking distance if you need to go to the city center. The room is not big but big enough for up to two people. The room cleaning ladies come everyday around 1-2pm to switch up your towels. Front desk staff can call a taxi that costs the same as uber that picks you up in 6 mins if uber is too busy/not working.

The only downside is that there’s no free cold water/water fountain in the hotel. They only have a coffee machine at the lobby cafeteria that has boiling hot water. Only ask for one keycard when checking in because putting two cards together gets them deactivate each other out lol

6minutes from getting off our seats in the Sheffield arena to being back in the hotel, brilliant. Bed comfy (even though bunk bed over it) good pressure of water in shower. Continental breakfast was fine. Staff were lovely

The price £216 (room121) car park being full on arrival at 310pm, a portable telly, no drink making facility in room (we know its budget but it was £216 for a concert night) no socket near to a mirror, lift out of order,odd light switches,decor so old fashioned, toilet light halogen (why do they still exist), didn’t like shower in bedroom

I only asked for a room that I could get my wheelchair thru the door of, but if they couldn't sort an accessible bathroom out, that wouldn't be an issue for me. I arrived to find I had been allocated a fully accessible room, with a lovely wetroom, shower chairs and plenty of space to maneuver. As always, staff were polite and friendly, the pizza tastes fantastic and its one of the reasons we return to stay with you. Keep up the awesome work and standards and we look forward to staying with you again. Thanks guys!

Parking is a bit expensive, but it does mean the car is securely parked in a carpark with cctv, so I don't really have a complaint about that either.

Friendly pleasant check in. I'd asked for a quiet room on booking, and despite the hotel seeming busy, particularly with school groups, my stay was very peaceful. The bed very comfortable. The room very clean. I quite liked the simplicity of the room.

Only small niggles: couldn't get ITV1 on TV, it was pixelated. I didn't ask to get it fixed. I didn't realise to turn heating up to max to warm the room up on first evening, once I worked that out, temperature was fine. The shower was adequate, as in water flow and pressure, I would have liked a bit more than adequate. Car parking was £8.00, so I parked outside of the car park.

The room was basic but had everything we needed for a one night stay. The beds were singles but clean and comfy, we could have done with another pillow each. Personally I didn't like that you used the toilet and then had to come into the bedroom to wash your hands. Our room looked onto the main road which was noisy if the window was open. There was carparking available as well. Continental style breakfast was included in the booking.

As above with the toilet/sink situation, also I wasn't keen on the shower cubicle being in the bedroom.

The property itself was good, you do have to pay for parking, but that’s ok, the room was clean and tidy and it did us for the 2 nights we stayed The staff were lovely and when I came back to Essex I noticed my passport had fallen out, they then found it in the room, and I asked if anyway I can get it back or I would have to pay 90 pound for a new one! They said if I paid for a pre paid envelope they would send it back, and I did that, and I got it back. So I couldn’t be more grateful! Thank you

Looked very clean from the outside and clean on the inside. Had everything I needed for my one night stay.

The door to my room wouldn’t lock with the deadlock. Didn’t feel safe because of that and put the chair behind the door and to be woken up early whilst still in bed to the door opening and chair moving and a man saying oh sorry. He wasn’t the maid. I reported the lock not working the night before so could have been maintenance but he should have knocked first instead of just walking in.

Location for the Sheffield arena was our reason to book, we knew it was a budget hotel so no tea making facilities in the room didn’t bother us as you could buy food and drink in the lobby, We arrived by motorcycle and the manager ensured the bike was protected in a safe area where the night staff could see it. The staff were excellent, polite and eager to help they could teach the staff in a few high end hotels I have stayed in a thing or two, we would stay here again no hesitation.

Nothing, we knew being a budget hotel that the rooms weren’t massive and for its location it it was really quiet even though it was packed with arena going guests.

We booked the ibis very last minute for a trip to the Sheffield arena next door. We were only sleeping in the room and didn't want to spend a fortune on luxury. We were pleasantly surprised. Yes the rooms are very basic but we had everything we needed. We booked 2 twin rooms next door to each other. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. We had a TV fresh towels free WiFi and housekeeping. What else do you need for the night? I would absolutely stay here again. All the staff were lovely, check-in was a breeze, the location is perfect, especially if travelling with children there is ample to do within a couple of minutes walk. So many food outlets to choose from. I would absolutely recommend a stay here if looking for a central location with a basic budget. If you want a late night snack and don't mind a half hour wait I highly recommend the pepperoni pizza from reception!

The one negative was the car parking. When we arrived we parked and paid for 2 nights (£7 a night) The next morning we drove out for a couple of hours and when we returned there was no parking available. I do understand it can't be pre booked in advance, but did assume once we actually arrived and paid we would have a place for the duration. It wasn't a huge problem as there is plenty of parking nearby. We were offered a refund but we just tried our luck later in the evening and managed to get back in. Other than that one small issue the stay was perfect.

Very close to the station with lots of facilities surrounding the hotel. Friendly reception staff willing to go the extra mile to please their guests. Clean, quiet and comfortable for a budget hotel.

We were booked to leave our room at 12 as per the booking and previous day check in. However, at 10:30 we were told by the domestic team that we had to vacate the room by 11am, this was by knocking our door by two different team members who insisted we were to leave. Reception team were informed of this and confirmed it is a 12pm check out. This resulted in a very rushed leave of the hotel with an extensive wait for a booked train based on timings.
