Great location just off the M1 highway and only a couple of mins away from Monash University. Very comfortable spacious rooms. Laundry facilities and swimming pool. Plenty of free parking and very helpful staff. Breakfast also very pleasant.

Would have liked breakfast time to be a little bit more flexible. It’s 7-9am everyday including weekends. 9.30am would be better. (Just our opinion).

Dated decor, but mostly clean in and good repair. Had all the amenities one would expect for the price. Great parking and fantastic location.

No major feedback in this area. The floor of the spa was a little dirty and it acted as the shower base so a little awkward to get in and out of. Some traffic noise, but nothing to really complain about. Key didn't work in first instance, but reception team were responsive and sorted it very quickly despite it being almost midnight.

It was a very convenient location for us as we were attending a function in the area. Also an easy drive in to the city and to Chadstone shopping centre. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and on site parking was convenient. We arrived on a very late flight and the late checkin went smoothly with very clear instructions. Reception and housekeeping do an excellent job and there is a restaurant on site. A great choice for a base outdide the city centre for a few days in Melbourne.

We were very satisfied with this accomodation- excellent value for such reasonable rates.

This is a wonderful place to stay! All staff members were incredibly friendly and polite; they made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The room itself was great - very good size, comfy bed, and plenty of storage space too. The corner spa was a huge bonus! I'll absolutely be staying here again.

The gym could be better equipped but it's by no means bad. I like to partake in strength training so typically look for places with a barbell and good selection of free weights. There are actual gyms close by though if this is an issue. Aside from that tiny thing, this place is brilliant! Plenty of parking too though to nitpick, it'd be better if the park space lines were painted in white instead of red (it's hard to see the red lines at night).

The bed was comfortable and clean room. The gentleman was "super" thank you for great conversations and a the delicious meals you prepared and your personal touch to every detail, and yes that includes breakfast with a candle 😉 for my gorgeous partner. We were had unexpectedly been going through some family trauma whilst staying, you took the pressure away from us with your personal attentiveness, kindness and patience, thank you we appreciate everything and will definitely be back. Once we were at the Hotel we did not need to leave as dinner and breakfast was on-site making it easier to recharge before heading back to hospital.

furniture looks elegant. The location makes the hotel very convenient to catch a bus just near the gate of it.

Staff were nice and friendly. Room and facilities are great, clean and pretty well maintained. For this price, you get an ensuite bathroom with a spa bathtub, separate mini gym, outdoor pool and sauna, close to Monash Clayton campus, don't think you can ask for more! Breakfast has a pretty good variety, and the chef and kitchen staff never failed to ask me if i wanted any eggs for breakfast every single day, and those were very nicely done eggs too!

Gateway on Monash hotel was a amazing little getaway!Great hotel,friendly staff.Great location,so many places to eat and drink from.Check in was smooth and quick.The rooms were clean and tidy.We were on the second floor & had a really nice view lots of greenery.The windows are nice but needs to be all repaired and fixed front windows only open halfway and some of the bathroom windows needs to be unlocked or fixed.Or replaced with strong safety glass so no one can break it. The rooms were clean but needs a revamp would be nice some new modern decor & furnishings maybe a touch of modern art & paint and new sofa chairs,new modern art work picture wall,new modern lamps,new phone,needs new microwave,new modern table furnishings,new modern throw cushions.And the some of the bathrooms need to have small drains in the floor on the second floor so the rooms dont flood...needs more staff too .New strong locks on the doors..needs New staff for the public bar downstairs and restaraunt...needs room service staff for the room service food ... Central location with easy access to the Mcity shopping centre and Monash has to offer.Very clean,proffessional staff walking distance from everything. I would recommend this place if you're visiting Melbourne.

Great Motel/Hotel with immaculately clean and fresh rooms which are larger than most of there equivalents and always great value for money with access to the freeways to city 2 minutes away and bus stops out the front... Stayed here many times and will stay many more!

Leaving

Even though there were restaurants close by, I chose to eat here as the chef Mike was great! The place was very clean and comfortable. Well done!

One of the front desk guys (younger French male?) was lazy and unhelpful, but Mike really made my stay enjoyable with pleasant conversations during and after dinner.
