The location , facilities , design , space of the hotel are great .

The restaurant was not great , you either like tex /mexican type food or there is no choice at all . Crazy as you are located in Sonoma valley , nowhere near Texas nor Mexico !!!

The room and amenities were great. Pool and SPA were lovely. Unfortunately we came at the most crowded time for 4th of July so the pool was teaming with children and the adults brought their own music, drinks and dogs in. We abided by the rules and kept our dog with us in our room or on our patio.

Our room wasn't serviced during our stay so we took the trash out, etc. When we wanted it serviced we had to ask twice during the day. Once serviced housekeeping was very attentive. Also requested ice and it never came. Wasn't clear how to get this ourselves until I found a hidden ice and water maker at the back of the resort.

Landscaping and welcoming vibe

Breakfast was a 30 min wait quoted. When we got in discovered that seating didn't seem to be used efficiently. Large tables for small parties. Also large tvs in my opinion were horrible both to the atmosphere and material running. As I ate breakfast I was face to face with an oxygen tank infomercial watching people singing the praises of its use. The other tv was sports and financial info. Why have a tv on in such a lively room? Is it a sports bar? With such beauty in the surrounding area, why not show images of places for guests up visit or enjoy? Also the toilet room felt like solitary confinement. Had nothing on the wall but an abstract letter, felt like it wasn't part of the lovely room. Also magnifying mirror was more like a fun house mirror.

I really like the layout of the resort. The pool is easily accessible from everywhere.

The resort is starting to look “tired”. The pool cushions are all worn and many have tears in them. They need replaced right away. Our first room had bubbles in the wall of the bathroom and a piece of art was missing with an empty hook on the wall.

The Lodge was such a beautiful stay! My partner and I stayed at the Lodge for three nights, and I did not have one complaint! The grounds are stunning. The room was cozy and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We had a cottage with a small outside sitting area, and it was worth it, especially in the morning, drinking a cup of coffee.

The restaurant is very good but pricy.

Restaurants were great, rooms were very roomy, clean and comfortable, pool and hot tub were great!

Chairs around the pool were torn and old looking. Our AC was either turned off or it automatically goes off when we would leave the room so we came back to a very hit room after a long day at the Wineries.

We liked everything. You know when you see the photos online the pool always looks way way better than it is - not in this case. The lobby is very beautiful. Check in was great. Cottage great. Dinner great.

NOthing to not like.

The resort is well kept and exudes luxury. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms are well stocked and comfortable. While they have the ability to serve families, it’s not meant for that. Had we not been in town for a wedding, I’d have left our kids home or stay somewhere else.

The food option on site is very expensive for the quality.
