The swimming pool was super good, we ended up spending most of our time there. The Villa is located in a quite isolated area of the island (c. 40 mins from Hvar), which allows for a relaxing stay. Very close to a few beaches. The restaurant was really good, although there were not many options. The owners were very kind and friendly.

Nothing major. The street to reach the Villa from Stari Grad is not really super easy, but it's worth it.

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by welcoming and friendly hosts to the moment we left everything was just wonderful. The hotel is small enough to feel personal , its calm, stylish and comfortable. Everything was clean and fresh. Our top floor room was delightful, large and roomy with a kitchenette, lounge area and bathroom. The view of the sea and across to the islands from the balcony was just great. The aircon worked well ( as did everything )The beds were comfy. Parking was within the hotel grounds. The infinity pool was dreamy. Such a wonderful place to swim and relax and admire the beautiful terracing of olives and lavender and the sea. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. A short walk down the path led to the sea with a path along the coast going past several beach bars and restaurants.

The pool and view from the pool is absolutely beautiful. The owner is also such a pleasant man who came to speak to us every day. You feel like you are hosted in their home and the food is spectacular.

It’s slightly remote but we loved that about it. Enough bars and food to wander up and down the coast to.

Stella Mare is a family owned appartement and it shows in everything. Excellent facillities (awesome infinity pool), amazing cooking (by the mother of the family) but most of all, a warm and truely kind staff that make your holiday the best you can wish for.

We came to this part of Hvar to enjoy the beautifull Adriatic coast at its best. We stayed at Stella Mare for three days and could not find one single thing that could have been done better next time. You can not receive too much kindness.

Everything was perfect! The Stella Mare is essentially a "villa" with few - but well furnished - apartments run by a very lovely family. The owners and the staff make sure you feel like at your own home: for us it worked!!! We spent only 2 days in this amazing and quite place, where we found the right relax for the end of our holidays. The swimming pool and the restaurant are simply amazing and both of them have a "wooooow" view.

This place is exquisite, a gem. The family who run the villa are so accommodating and friendly. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality. Amazing place, a real sense of style and comfort. We are only sorry we did not stay longer. We will be back.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, staff are exceptional and the pool is amazing, often very quiet or even have it to yourself which is really nice. The beach has so many coves and clear water and is a two minute walk. I liked the remoteness of the area, we hired a car, which I would recommend for the island, and also I would advise booking the car in advance as there seems to be short supply, especially if you need a child car seat as not all car hire places have them. Get a sea view apartment with a balcony facing the sea, the room we got was lower down and had hardly any views. I would stay here again 100% (maybe without a small child so I can enjoy those views in peace and not worry about a toddler) and also I would get a room with a better view.

Only comment is that whilst a kettle is supplied in the room, no tea or coffee is supplied. We had a 1yo with us so were often awake once she awoke at 5.30am before breakfast or room service so as new parents coffee is essential. The staff service is very attentive so if I remembered to ask I am sure they would have brought some. Also, we were there for 5 days and our room wasn't cleaned once, I'm not sure if this is part of the design for 'studio apartments' as they are more self catering, but I was a little surprised that they weren't cleaned at least once in that time, at least to empty bins etc. (Baby nappies in there!) We left the bin bag out the front and it was collected a day or so afterwards. But as we had no spare bin bags we had to use our old shopping bags.

Perfection. From the moment we arrived we knew this would be nothing short of exceptional. food , service, location , accommodation . Faultless in every aspect. Well done to the family and all the staff for providing us with a memorable experience.

not one bad word to say….the only thing we didn’t like about the property was that we had to leave it to continue on our journey…

The rooms are beautiful and have a beautiful view of the sea. Furthermore, the pool is just perfect for peaceful relaxation. The hospitality of the people at Stella Mare was top-notch. Incredible service, they take care of you like family. The cuisine at Stella Mare is absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of flavorful dishes to tantalize your taste buds.

A beatiful villa, run by a lovely and very welcoming family. The place was so well looked after and a very traquil place to relax. It was clean throughout with a lovely pool area which had great views. The food also was great and we would highly recommend to anyone. Its made us want to come back.
