The loan of one of the motel's East Hampton resident parking permits which you 100% need to park at Ditch Plains. The room was larger and nicer than the booking.com listing said it was. The staff was helpful, the room was nicely decorated and the A/C unit, while small, worked well to cool the room down after I checked in. The location was great as many of the activities I like are centered around Montauk Harbor.

On the way up the stairs to my 2nd floor room, i saw a small dead roach. The instant I entered the room I saw a tiny juvenile roach and stepped on it. I didn't see any others while I was there but had to take my usual steps when i see vermin in the room (i.e. put away all food securely in the refrigerator, put my bags high up on shelves , which the room fortunately had). I'm a biologist, so I notice this stuff and no it wasn't an ant or some other bug. Other than that, the stay was perfect.

The staff was AMAZING and Very Helpful. Coleen helped us even before we got there with places to visit and eat. They had our room ready for us earlier than expected (Monday check in) but they did say call first. The staff at the front desk was always super nice and always was willing to help us with any questions or request!!!!! My daughter and her friends got to use the bikes a few times and they were great touch. Every night at about 8:30 the firepit was lit and that was a nice touch for my daughter and her friends to hang out b the little secret garden. Amazing place for a nice getaway!!!!!

Scooter the cat! he came into our room at one point and I couldn’t be happier. adorable! The room was standard for what you can expect, the bed and pillows were comfortable. overall a good experience nice location close to Tony’s for meals and a few restaurants. Close drive into town. Nice fire pit

there were a few younger crowds of girls carrying on at 2am but it’s Montauk, to be expected. walls are paper thin and you can hear everything all hours of the night. it was a bit chilly for the pool but it was closed for maintenance. Could have went in during day time hours Saturday but it was being painted. they did let us know ahead of our trip and offered free cancellation or 30% off.

Overall, the room was spacious. The bed and sheets are super clean. It also wasn’t terribly noisy even though it was pre-July 4th weekend. We also enjoyed the outside spaces the hotel provided - pool was big, seats were always available & the patio was beautiful at night. There is a beach 3 minutes by foot which was convenient since we traveled with a 10 month old baby. Everyone was also super accommodating and nice.

Bathroom was outdated - rust in the tub and really old moldy caulk. There no microwave in the rooms or anywhere in the hotel for guests. The room I stayed had a toe nail therefore the rooms are not cleaned as well as they should.

This was our first visit to Haven and it will not be our last. Everything from the moment we arrived to our departure was beyond our expectations. The staff was professional. The accommodations were immaculate. It felt like being at home away from home. The location was also great. The plus was that they accept pets. We did not feel compromised in any way because of it. The room we had showed no signs of pet odor or anything. They have an incredible cleaning team at this hotel. I give them 10 plus and highly recommend them for a stay in Montauk.

Front desk staff were soooo helpful! (Thank you, Coco, for all your recommendations, bringing us ice and pillows, and for setting the fire pit on Thursday night!!) The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable (it was very low, which originally worried me, but I felt like I was in my own bed at home with my own mattress!)

Only thing to note is the water pressure from the sink in Room 8 was too strong, As soon as the water turns on it comes flying out at high speed and inevitably, you get wet! It might just need a washer but thought I should share so it can be fixed!

Very clean, comfortable, simple accommodations in a great location. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Sunset beach a quick walk around the corner.

The pool as of June 1 is not open and looks abysmal (brown and full of debris), so if this is a key feature for you, def check with property first to see if it’s been cleaned/open. As a beach property, outdoor rinse off facilities, at least a foot wash, would be helpful for guests and also hotel cleaning staff, I’m sure.

We liked the location staying near the harbor area and bay beach vs main drag of town. Staff was very nice. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. We enjoyed using the bikes. We also liked that we were able to bring our dog.

As of the first week of June 2023, it seems like the property is going through a transition period and are working out some kinks on the property. (pool not open yet, no s’mores, no beach pass). It seems like these will be resolved shortly in time for peak summer season.

I loved the location!! So peaceful and walkable to a bunch of restaurants, delis, the beach and the marina. The property was so clean, modern, updated and well maintained. I stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment and it was so spacious for the 6 of us. Even had a little kitchen and fridge with all the essentials. Super cute pool area and separate court yard with fire pits. The complimentary bikes and SUPs were an unexpected bonus. The staff was also so friendly and accommodating.

Location is great, 2 min from the sunset beach. The staff was AMAZING. Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We had a second floor room with a balcony ( partial sea view). Room is freshly renovated in beach/sea colors. Well appointed with nice personal care products, a mini fridge and robes. Bikes are also available. Dog friendly!!
