The hotel, a 15th century building, was superbly well converted to more modern needs, and it was exceptionally clean if not ultra stylish. The staff were helpful, and the situation in an impressive square was ideal. Lots of excellent eateries well within walking distance. It was perhaps unfortunate that none of the usual parking was available in the square whilst we were there. Breakfasts (uncooked) were unusual but vast, enabling midday snacks to be smuggled out of the dining room. Enjoyable and recommended.
Partition walls were a little thin and the lift rather antiquated, but so what? Only the good will remain in our memories.

Comfortable, quiet hotel recently refurbished and reopened and perfectly situated on a corner of the Grand Place bang on in the center of Arras. Lots of restaurants proposing local, regional, french and international dishes at resonable prices available on the square and near-by. Free over ground car parking at night in square or cheap underground parking underneath square at 13€ to 14€ for the night. Hotel offers a copious buffet breakfast. Staff are very welcoming , friendly and helpful.
Extra pillows would be nice.

The location on Grand Place is excellent. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself, being in an old building, is a bit cramped but that's part of the charm.
The breakfasts were fine, but they were unable to deal with a full house on Saturday, and ran out of croissants and bread - an Amazonian woman who was there with her children and parents stood at the counter and simply took the entire batch, so everyone else had to wait 15 minutes for more.

Beautiful location , right on the Grand Place. It was great to be able to walk straight out on to the Grand Place in the morning and return at night, when the Grand Place is very atmospheric, illuminated by lights behind the gables. The square and nearby streets are full of good places to eat. Excellent good-sized breakfasts were served in the breakfast room.
Nothing important. The rooms were a little cramped but they were fully equipped and very clean - and characterful, with views over the surrounding streets

Very well located and easy to find with many restaurants and visitor sites close by. The staff were friendly and helpful and the bed in the room was comfortable. The breakfast was very good and good value for money.
The shower room was very small, although adequate for our purposes and the shower worked well. The ony real downside was a lack of space to unpack our cases, so we had to "live out of our case" to some extent.

Lovely run hotel in an old building right on one of the central "places" in Arras. Its a typically french property and decor and amazingly clean. Very short walk to restaurants/bars. Receptionist was brilliant and helped greatly with advice and recommendations. We also had the breakfast which is fresh and plentiful (enough to take away for a lunch time and very well priced).
So some may not like the french decor and set up but for our 1 night stop over stay its perfect

Excellent location. Right on la Grande Place. Was so convient getting from there to the train station and for seeing the town. I also felt the price was quite good for the quality of hotel (cleanliness and comfortable bed) and the location which it is situated. They even let me check in early which was quite beneficial as it allowed me to take a nap as I was very tired.
I experienced no negatives during my stay at the hptel. Perhaps my only complaint is that having the option for a visitor to pay extra for a late check out would be nice.

Situated in a beautiful old building in a fabulous location at the quiet end of the Grand Square in Arras, the Hotel de Trois Luppars provided a simple yet comfortable one night stop on our way back to the Eurotunnel at Calais. While spectacular on the outside, the hotel inside had more of the feel of a hostel. The rooms are a little dated with a 1960/70s vibe to the decor but they are very clean and spacious with a firm, comfortable bed. This was probably one of the quietest and best night's sleep we had on our tour around France. The breakfast was good value and generous.
The shower/bathroom is a little tight for space and inside the shower cubicle is slightly dark and dingy. This is purely as a result of the fact that the hotel rooms have been created inside a very old building and probably unavoidable - but if you like a spacious, modern bathroom or are yourself of a generous build, then this hotel may not be for you. There is no parking at the hotel itself and parking is in the underground car park that runs underneath the Grand Square, a short walk away.

Lovely welcome from reception staff. Comfortable, smallish room. Plenty of hot water in shower. Location in main square. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Lift to upper floors, a bonus.
Nothing to add, although parking could be expensive in square.

The building is ancient, architecture fabulous and located in the grand square, very central. Staff were very friendly and helpful, suggesting restaurants to eat.
We paid for the breakfast but that was a disappointment unfortunately, rationed, coffee was lukewarm warm.
