Beautiful old monastery in a great a quiet location in the heart of Arras. Sympathetically restored with very comfortable bedrooms and modern bathrooms.

The set menu was a bit ‘random’. The starter was good but very large for a starter. The main course comprised delicious crispy fried Brie and salade, spoiled by far too much jambon cru, left in whole slices and dominating the plate. My dessert was absolutely delicious: strawberry sorbet, ice cream, strawberry coulis and fresh strawberries, topped with cream. ❤️❤️

A delightful heritage property conveniently located in the middle of Arras. A former Jesuit monastery built in 1604, this hotel has character and panache. Super motivated and friendly staff, a really good on-site restaurant for both breakfasts and suppers and surprisingly reasonable pricing thoughout. Our room had a large walk-in shower with both a rain head and hand wand. Plenty of hot water and even the towels could be warmed with a hot-water towel rack!

Parking is very limited and the designated area is small. We had a SUV and found it very challenging to jockey in and out of the assigned spot

It felt like this hotel has a little history behind it from the moment we arrived in the courtyard, and this continued into the restaurant, where he had breakfast a couple of times and the bar. Safe and secure parking in the middle of Arras was also a welcome offering. We had a great welcome, all the people we met were happy to help with a smile on their faces, and our rooms were very comfortable, with excellent bathrooms. Being a five minute walk to the main square was fantastic, and the range of bars, cafes and bistros should keep most tastes satisfied. Make sure you visit the Carrier Wellington Museum is the top tip - it was one of the best we've visited. This hotel is a definite recommend.

Great location a short walk from the main square and it's restaurants and bars. Nice and quiet. Breakfast was good. Arras is well worth a visit. Unlike any other town in France and not far off the highway

It was pouring rain, so the windows needed to remain closed as they were doors and it was over 30 degrees. There was no fan or A/C, so it was sweltering. When we opened the windows, they blow madly in the wind and would have broken plus the rain would have come in.

Loved the Location in quiet part of center of town, with secure parking (€10) giving us excellent choice of restaurants all within walking distance. On the hottest day of the year so far, The staff had thoughtfully drawn the curtains to prevent the hot sun from overheating the room. They also greeted us with chilled bottles of water. Very thoughtful and welcoming! Breakfast was fab- huge selection of pastries, charcuterie, hot dishes, compote, fresh fruit and cereals. Highly recommended !

This is a very nice hotel in an excellent location in the centre of Arras. I had prebooked the parking which is necessary as the hotel has perhaps 16 spaces. This was ten euros extra but well worth it in my view. Very spacious well decorated public areas and rooms and my room was very clean. Very quiet and I slept with the windows open, as it was so hot, and I was not disturbed at all. Helpful staff who speak English and the breakfast was good with a nice selection of bread, meats, cereal and yoghurt. Arras is a lovely place with lots of restaurants and cafes in the main squares only five minutes walk away.

The wifi was an "open system" with no password and consequently my phone didn't seem to like this and wouldn't let me access even the BBC news website. Maybe password protected would be better.

The welcome was very friendly and helpful.Perfect if you want to be in the centre of Arras. We had dinner, there is a set menu as well as an individual menu. The choices are limited, a choice of 3 starters/3 mains and the same for desserts but the food quality is excellent. You can have three courses, several beers/4 large glasses of red wine for €100 for two people, excellent value for money. The rooms are spotlessly clean, bed very comfy. The breakfast again excellent and huge choice, it’s buffet style but everything from fresh fruit/ yogurts/ continental/sausages/bacon/scrambled eggs/pastries. Endless coffee/juice etc.

A fabulous, quiet, comfortable, friendly hotel in the middle of Arras. Do make sure you book parking if you need it, as spaces are limited and tight but doable (have someone to help you avoid hitting railings). That sounds scarier than it is, but want to give you the wisest advice. I would go back here if our journeys take us near. I thoroughly recommend it to you! Arras is a super, laid back but funky city. Enjoy!

It was all great!

The room was bright, airy and comfortable. The location was quiet and very close to the centre of town. The parking was very secure (tight but quite manageable). We came heavily loaded for a long stay in France so overnight private parking was important to us. This was our fourth overnight stop in Arras and this is now our favourite hotel.

We got the impression that the hotel was being redecorated and restored (tastefully and well). It already looks and feels good and we imagine it will become even better. This is an observation not a complaint!

This was a beautiful hotel. Room was lovely, bar and breakfast rooms were fab. Bar prices were not bad for a city location either. Location was great.

Had no hot water in the room on arrival, when approached the reception they were very unhelpful, just saying it had all been taken ?? with no proper explanation or expectation of when it would be available!! Not great after a long and very hot journey, we would like to have freshened up properly before heading out for the evening. We did have hot water in the morning.
