We have been traveling to France for work and holidays for over 30 years. At one time you were able to find simple, clean, friendly, good value hotels like this all over France, but these days they are sadly a very rare find. The ace hotel is simply brilliant, it feels like a genuinely cared for, well maintained and welcoming place and we absolutely loved it! (€6 supplement for our dog only added to the feeling of fairness) There is a supermarket, petrol station, great bakery and pizza restaurant on the doorstep which for us weary travellers was the icing on the cake. We will be back!

We love the fact that there is 24/7 check in times so we are not pressured to make it to our destination before 9:00pm. There is am amazing little Italian place right next door so we did not have to get into our car once again after such a long journey. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable and come with everything you need. Check in and out is super simple and the carpark is very secure.

Honestly, there is nothing negative I can say about his place. We will definitely be returning in future!

Basic but spacious room. Very comfortable with decent sized bathroom. Quick and efficient check in. Good air conditioning. Perfect location for access to Le Shuttle (about an hour and 10 minutes away) and with a good Italian restaurant next door. Excellent value for money. Perfect for an overnight stop en route home to the UK.

A kettle and fridge would be useful but for the price, not expected.

It’s exactly what is needed. A clean hotel, with air conditioning and a good connection to the highway The entire hotel is very quiet (no car noises etc.) so we got a real good nights sleep. The breakfast buffet could maybe use a little bit more variety but grand total this place holds everything promised an that’s great! ☺️

I arrived at nearly 3am due to my ferry time and needing to stop to charge my vehicle, lady on the reception desk was lovely, although I didn’t want breakfast due to my short stay and needing to get back on the road, she said I could request a coffee and that the staff would still provide me with one.

Everything was good.

We booked a family room (two adults, two children) which was perfectly adequate for our purposes and we ate at McDonalds next door which also had a play area. We went to a very close Carrefour for snacks and drove to a local park for the children to run around. We slept well!

The room was rather small for four people but it was absolutely fine as a one night stopover.

Very nice clean and spacious room & bathroom. Really appreciated the xxl size bed which was very comfortable. Hotel was very quiet. Free and safe parking on site. Good buffet breakfast available from early (6 am). Staff were friendly and helpful. Access from A1 was easy.

More pillows would be good.

The bedroom and the bathroom are spacious and very clean. We are a couple but had the triple room at the price for two as nothing left. The location was okay if you are more concern about a private parking. The bus to Arras city centre takes 30 mins or 11 minutes drive by car. The Pizzaria next door is very good and have other dishes as well.

No tea/coffee facility in the room but you can ask at the reception for €2.00 each. It comes from the machine in breakfast room.

The person who checked us is was so friendly, even one of the children said how nice she was! Parking was excellent and the security gate closed not long after we arrived so we felt our car was very secure. Very quiet room. Bathroom was great. We hadn’t expected much and actually this hotel beat all of the pricier ones I’d stayed in over the previous month around Europe, it was spot on!

Towels were quite small but that was a minor thing

When we arrived at 0100 after a long day of travel, the check-in staff member was so kind and helpful! The room had enough room for my kids and myself with the beds ready for rest. In the morning, we enjoyed a quick and delicious breakfast before getting back on the road. It was altogether a pleasant stay.

I may have missed it so this is just me trying to think of something but: I would have liked to see written instructions for how to use the egg boiler with a list of standard times for preferred doneness.
