This property exceeded our expectations. The room was lovely and well equipped down to the toiletries which were hypo allergenic and most appreciated. We were interested in the history of this former residential school and there were pictures however the interpretive centre was closed during our visit on Tuesday. The dining room is not open Monday and Tuesday. The casino was lots of fun and has a bar / cafe which opens at 11 am.
We got lost and had extra exercise finding our room. We suggest you get clear directions from the staff Our room had a very large bathroom but the toilet was oddly positioned and possibly not comfortable for tall individuals.

St Eugene has it all - spa with a pool and hot tub, golf club, restaurants, casino, interpretive centre and excellent, welcoming staff. As the main dining room was closed (do check the hours), we ate in the casino and received credits for the casino. After much guidance from a very helpful attendant, we won enough to cover most of the cost of dinner! The setting of the resort is gorgeous and it was…inspiring?…to see something positive coming out of a residential school. While the interpretive centre was closed, we learned a lot from photos and artifacts around the property.

The main restaurant was closed the day we stayed but we had dinner at the clubhouse, which was good and had excellent service. Our room was a quite large and had a little balcony. The resort is situated a little out of town but the location is stunning.
We had nothing really negative to say about the place. It is a big resort and it was raining when we were there which made it difficult to stay dry going from building to building. Parking can be a bit quirky.

Food was amazing, had supper in casino and breakfast at 19 th hole. Both delicious.
Didn’t realize we needed I’d to get into casino so put all of in safe, after going down had to go back to get I’d and couldn’t open safe. Called front desk 2 times no answer. Went down to guest services and no one there. Finally found someone and had to get a crowbar to open. Went to get I e on second floor sign pointed to end of hall. Went up and down could not find. Took bag went downstairs and got ice after elevator back to second floor bag opened at bottom and ice everywhere. Staff were all very helpful on both instances.

Golfing tee times_ would had been m=nice if driving range was open for Thursday afternoon tee time. It was not open and we got chased off….not a great way to treat visitor hotel guest then after we finished the front nine we wanted to continue on with back nine . We had 5:10 tee times - got it completed within 2.15 hours, but pro shop refused …..said they closed early???? It early august …why close so early.

The education, history, pictures and stories throughout the buildings are most impactful. This is more than a hotel. The dining room was very relaxing, food and service excellent. Pool was great. Casino could have provided more luck.
We understand the lodge building is pet friendly but our first night was like staying in a kennel. Two dogs barking constantly. Would not stay in this building again. Did not appear the spa was open the weekend we visited.

The bed was ridiculously comfortable! You literally just sank into it and never wanted to get back up. Hot shower with good water pressure was also highly appreciated. Had a room with a balcony overlooking the countryside, which was lovely. I ate at the casino restaurant: The food was great, so was the service.
I would have had the sleep of my life - if it hadn't been for the AC fan that started blasting in the middle of the night and every hour thereafter without really doing anything (I only found the off-switch the next morning). Sockets anywhere near the bed would be a plus to charge your device overnight. For the Numa restaurant, you need a reservation, and also the Spa is only available if you book in advance, which is a bit unfortunate when you're only staying a single night. In the Casino Restaurant you're surrounded by gambling machines, the flashing lights and noise included, which is a bit uneasing when you're just trying to have dinner

It is a lovely place. We enjoyed the view, the grounds, and the restaurants.
The room itself was basic, but clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the evening was interrupted by a fire alarm, but that is not the fault of the hotel. They seemed to be somewhat short-staffed which was apparent in lack of towels at the pool.

Great location for a weekend of golf. The hotel and property has some interesting history. Lovely hotel with super clean rooms, choices of restaurants, a well-stocked bar and a big casino. The staff were amazing. The golf course is picturesque with mountain views. A great pro shop. The golf course was in superb condition when we played it. A nice pool and spa.
We did not have any issues or concerns during our stay.

The room with 2 queen size beds was spacious and the beds were very comfortable! There was a mini fridge, TV, desk, and chair for relzaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel atmosphere was welcoming with live plants and art throughout.
The air conditioner, although appreciated was noisy throughout the night. Other than this we don't have any complaints about the service. There was a note about our room not being made up due to staff shortages and then we were pleasantly surprised when it was without the expectation for this to occur.
