3 night stay and Value for money is spot on. It's a slightly better than basic room and the renovations make is a lot more modern. Room Sizes are better than many budget friendly places I've stayed in. I got an upgrade to a room with a kitchenette and I was expecting just a basic counter, microwave and coffee maker etc. I was pleasantly surprised it was a fully stocked kitchen with cooker top, pans, pots, toaster, crockery cutlery and all the needs to make a meal. Also a sink for washing dishes and the soap and cleaning materials were included. Washroom was decently sized and plenty of hot water and fresh towels every day, despite me being OK with reusing a towel for a day or two. Overall I'd recommend this place for convenience and pricing. It's really great value and you get more than you expect. Walking distance to most eating places and even the main mall is a block or two away.

I can't really complain about it, but it should be mentioned. Like most hotels in Cranbrook, it's on the main 4 lane road through town, so it gets busy and noisy. Even the more expensive hotels are located on this main road and will have some degree of road noise.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and the motel was very quiet. This motel is great value for the price. We will definitely be staying here again. The kitchenette saved us money as we cooked our own breakfast and lunch with food purchased in Alberta. This older motel has been renovated and is charming. We brought our dogs so it was pleasant to walk straight outside from our room.

The beds are between and double and a queen. If you are a couple used to sleeping together in a queen or king - get a room with 2 beds. The water pressure in the shower was not the best but was functional, and the bathroom was clean.

We stayed for 2 nights over the long weekend. It was a last minute decision. We had our dog with us. The room was spacious. Good kitchenette. AC worked. No issues with the bathroom. It had everything we needed. Lots of places to eat and was a nice walk to the centre for an ice cream. Good base for going out for the day, we drove to Kimberley and saw some waterfalls. We would stay again.

Disappointing to find there is no pool. It is filled in with rocks. Would be nice to see that area turned into a chill out area. Tables and chairs with a nice water feature....

The staff were very friendly and pleasant to talk to. Until this point in my life I have underestimated how impactful that is on your stay. A face value this is a better than average motel, but the staff make it better than the property itself. A difficult thing to achieve consistently for each guest day on day.

Fundamentally motels are cheap and convenient for a reason. This is a high quality motel compared to others I've frequented.

My son and I had to rush in for a family emergency and I booked ahead etc. We were late checking in but they called me and explained that the office closed at midnight and that was fine. The only issue we had was that the toilet paper holder was broken but my son had a screwdriver with him so he fixed it! Not a big deal. It was comfortable and clean and warm. The floor with bare feet was really cold. Woke me up lol. For the price it was great. I would stay again.

It's not really a dislike but I am mobility challenged and not able to shower due to no accessibility such as a bar in the shower.

Family of four plus dog We stayed for a hockey tournament for a week Very comfortable, clean and had friendly staff The room had a two burner stove top with pot and pans as well as plates, cutlery amd cups. Looks newly renovated. Has a Landry room with a great washer and dryer

I was expecting bare bones at a budget roadside motel but in fact the room was attractive and very well equipped. The shower/bathroom were modern and excellent and the AC was efficient. There was a small kitchen unit as well. I would say that this was one of the best values have had for a long time while travelling.

The exterior of the property while not awful makes it look very ordinary.

Kitchenette, staff and the beds. It was cool so it was nice to have a great heater in the room... The room stayed warm for a long time.

Heater took us a minute to figure it out... But I never care for hotel heat/cooling units... Each one is different some are harder to figure out. This one was too bad though.

Basic bat fully sufficient hotel for a road trip. Located next to main road but I had absolutely no problems to sleep. Room was fairly small but not cramped. Sufficient in pretty much any way I can think of.

Nothing really to complain about at this price point.

The first night the room next to me was loud at after 1 in the morning and it took three calls to the hotel number before it quieted down , so not very sound proof and low water pressure
