Nice location, beautiful surroundings, village in walking distance, close to Graz and mountain trails. Helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms. Delicious and plenty breakfast. Even better than expected.

Rating could have been 9 or even 10 but we have 2 things to mention: 1. No fridge in the room but the space is there in the wardrobe. Could have been handy since we arrived with a baby. 2. We had half board with buffet style for soups and desert. However for the last evening it was not buffet and they also said that at lunchtime they had run out of desert and also some of the soup options. The reason for the missing buffet was that “you are the only one on half board”. Not acceptable.

Location wise is wonderful, top of the mountain, views over surrounding area, tons of horses wherever you look. Hotel as such consists of two buildings which might be a bit confusing for first arrival in the night. We had a very late arrival but the room has been waiting for us and the key was there.

Breakfast - it is typical Austrian breakfast - meat, cheese, yoghurts, breads, some veg, hardly any fruits and almost nothing non-diary. To our surprise our humble question in regards to possibility to prepare for our allergic kid pancakes with no milk/butter was denied with a comment that it is not possible to make. Well, it is first time we have been denied in last 5 years traveling across most of European countries. Pity.

Decent family-run place in the rolling hills of Styria just outside Semriach. Neat and tidy rooms, quiet location, very friendly staff, excellent value for money.

Dining experience was unfortunately not entirely satisfactory. Staff - although friendly - very inattentive, it took 10 minutes to be seated and another 15 minutes to order. Schnitzel was good, but salads had to be taken from an almost empty buffet and had a lot of room for improvement.

There was a strange recommendation at the dinner. We ate an la carte dinner and the lady told us to choose soup and salat from the buffet not from the menu. We chose and ate very small cup (like you find at a buffet diner) of soup and a smaller salad and paid the price for an a la carte soup and salad.

Comfy bed, big room, good shower Great wee swimming pool, mostly no one else in it ( hotel runs a lot of seminars and events so most people otherwise engaged). Lovely buffet breakfast and evening salad buffet or a la carts ( recommend local trout!)Fab indoor Padel Park next door. Nice walk into Semriach village.

Super friendly staff, very clean and spacious room, excellent food in hotel restaurant (breakfast and dinner) with various vegan choices, beautiful and peaceful area around hotel, dogs are welcome. Hope to visit again soon!

You get everything: beautiful landscape, swimming pool, excellent quality of food, playground, tennis, table tennis, hiking, biking. Cosy, relaxing, cannot wish for more. Absolutely great value for money.

The food was great and the staff very helpful.

A Hvac issue. Under the main building there is a pool with sauna. This is ok. What is not ok is the noise and vibrations (reverberations) of the ventilator used to extract the moisture. It is not well insulated and the big motor is transmitting vibrations and noise throughout the building. However, they shut it down late in the evening around 23.00. But until then it feels like your head is sleeping in the back of the refrigerator. It is a issue hard to ignore by some people (including me) It is a big NO NO in the hospitality industry to have industrial noise transmitted into the bedrooms. I was there especially for the silance and the scenery.

The surrounding landscape was beautiful and we enjoyed the view from the balcony Breakfast was very nice and staff were wonderful Room was very nice and spacious Had fun using the tennis court facility

With the hotel being located in the mountains, the roads are very winding and at night can be difficult to navigate

The Wellness Area was very cosy, you don't hear any traffic and the food was great as well.

The Indoor Pool was to cold for kids what made it a little bit different to play in the water properly. But we enjoyed our stay and will come back!
