Very good location close to the city center, helpful staff, very comfortable bed and good amenities in the room. I recommend this hotel.

Leaving/entering the garage with car can be difficult / frustrating but staff was helpful regarding the situation i do not think that this is the hotel's fault. We got a card for the garage but it malfunctioned a couple of times (despite paying for the parking the machine said it is not a valid ticket). But it was convenient that we could park right under the hotel!

The location of the hotel was very central and almost perfect. Near a bus station, with many stores (street food, drink, cafe-bars, pubs, etc) around and everything (murinsel, kunsthaus, clock tower, etc) was just a couple of minutes walk. The size of the room was ok, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. All the personnel were really polite, friendly and helpful making my stay pleasant. I enjoyed the gym and the sauna, which was just what i needed at that time. Another positive part was the rather late check-out (12.00), something that is very rare nowdays.

Unfortunately the room had a bad view but it didn't have any negative effect on my stay. I believe that breakfast could have been included in this room price.

I made 2 booking last month, both for 1 night only: on June 21st and 25th - 1st via Booking.com and 2nd via All app. Via Booking.com I got the room with breakfast included and stayed in the 3rd floor, front view. Via All app, breakfast wasn't included and the room was in the 1st floor, back view. On both, price was the same. What surprised me was that, although I booked the room for one person (and my dog), the double bed had only ONE pillow. That never happened before on any hotel I booked only for me. The rest of the experience was the same. Points for Booking to provide a better cost/experience for the customer against the owned app from Accor (which I believe should be the opposite if they aim for fidelity).

The rooms were large and well equipped. There is parking under the hotel which was $16 euro which is pretty pricey but it is for 24 hours. We arrived early and were able to go ahead and park before our room was ready. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. After we checked into our room, made a cup of coffee and rested for a bit, we noticed the toilet seat was cracked. We were immediately moved to a different room and given 2 free drinks at the bar for our "troubles". The location is good for walking in the old town area. Breakfast was amazing. A huge variety of everything you could want. We would recommend Hotel Mercure to family & friends.

The hotel should have told us that the entrance to the car park would be blocked by the Grazathon event on the day of our check-in. We couldn't access the car park when we arrived. Luckily, we found street parking not too far away.

Very good location of the hotel. Close to the old city center, various types of restaurants. Helpful service - really friendly people.

A few problems with the hotel parking - quite tight for larger cars and no information about the availability of free spaces. We went down a few levels and it turned out that there were no spaces, and turning around with our large car was very inconvenient.

The hotel is located in the center of Graz, just about a 10-minute walk to the main square. There’s a public garage beneath the hotel with an elevator that leads directly to the reception and rooms and parking is charged separately. The rooms are quite nice and reasonably spacious.

Hotel is located right next to a very busy road, so it can get quite noisy. In the morning, the street cleaning added to the noise, which was a bit disruptive.

The standard bedroom we had was spacious. Breakfast was excellent. A lot of choices and plenty of seating. It was an easy 10 minutes walk from Graz main train station. Supermarket is just next door from the hotel. Plenty of eating places close by. There’s also a farmer’s market each morning. Only 2 minutes walk from the hotel.

The location of the hotel is excellent and a short walking distance to all of the sites and shopping in the old town quadrant. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. And finally the parking garage in this area of Graz is super.

I didn't appreciate the bed.

+ Room was so spacious and comfortable (executive suite apparently), perfect for a 2+2 family + Comfortable sleep + Staff guided us well through the complex parking rules applicable (3 days parking x EUR 16 per day) + Breakfast buffet was high quality with plenty of choices

- Sauna could have a plunge pool - No swimming pool - even a small one would be nice
