The accommodation is in a perfect location for walks to the center, and our room had a beautiful view of the river. The room offered a very nice combination of modern and historical design. Breakfast was perfect, very tasty, and we were welcomed by pleasant and helpful staff. A coffee machine with coffee was also available in the room.”

Some details in the room would benefit from better maintenance and care—for example, a broken light bulb, a poorly cleaned shower corner and a patch of fallen plaster. Regarding the receptionist, although she was not unfriendly, she could have been a bit more welcoming and informative.

Location is superb. Right in the city center, walking distance to all major sights and still with parking options. We were lucky and got a parking spot right outside the hotel on the street (free on Saturday after 13.00 and on Sunday). Breakfast is delicious with a large selection of food and despite being a bit pricey I'd go for it again. Our room was comfy and more than adequate in size. Also having a bathtub was great and relaxing.

The heating. It was sooo hot in the room. We turned off all radiators and it still felt like 30 degrees, which was not great for sleeping. Also the pillows are so flat it's pointless to even have them and an annoyance if you're used of having a bigger ones. The room windows don't get covered well, so at night street light does come in. Not great for light sleepers. We'd be happy to have at least a kettle. Sadly, there's nothing there. And lastly, the room is pretty big and with high ceilings, which is great. However, it feels like the decorators forgot to fully equip it and put some soul into it, so we felt the room is just a bit bland.

We liked the character of the room, which was unique and had a vibe of minimal industrialism. The breakfast was also very rich, with vegan and very healthy options. The sauna and tea room were also a cute little surprise. Staff was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating, and keen to answer all our questions. The location was stellar, with easy access to good restaurants and all the sights of Graz.

If you are traveling with a friend, privacy is not a given. The shower has almost-clear glass tiles and a glass door that looks toward the bed. If you want to shower in privacy, some logistic planning will be needed. The rooms overlooking the river are kind of noisy, but the double windows help reduce this.

Very close to a lot of interesting places. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The food was excellent. The interior is nice but it needs a bit of renovating in some parts, for example the boards above the reception. Has a temporary parking spot in front of the hotel to take out your bags. Very pleasant receptionists.

The room view was bad. It looked directly into another building's windows and wall. The gym and relax area needs to be bigger or there needs to be more control on when someone can use it. Even though I told the reception the time I'd be using the gym I had to wait 20 minutes for other people to leave. In my opinion the gym should be separated completely from the relax area due to the noise of someone training and the machines being used.

This hotel boasts a convenient location, close to the city centre and most important Graz landmarks, and is imbued with old-world charm that you will appreciate if you're looking for comfort and style. The beds are comfortable, the staff at the reception desk is friendly and always willing to help with whatever you need, and their Salon Marie restaurant is simply splendid. We have stayed in this hotel several times already and will gladly continue to do so in the future!

During our previous visits, we particularly appreciated that the staff made warm breakfast drinks to order. We were rather surprised to find that warm drinks are now offered as a self-service option, which is not very convenient; we preferred the previous option and I truly hope that the hotel will think about bringing it back. The breakfast choices are excellent, with lots of different food on offer, so this was the only little downside of an otherwise great breakfast experience.

Location is superbe! Right where you want to be! Breakfast is great and the two good souls who welcome you every morning are great. One lad from Egypt and one Austrian? , with glasses. They cannot do enough. The quirkiness of the place works.

Housekeeping could do better. Towels are changed daily, which by now is really a nono, especially when the hotel requests the usual sorting of towels. Why bother!? Two bulbs ooo also not great. Floor should be wiped a bit more diligently.

This hotel carries the flair of a 19th century Grand Hotel into the 21st century combining traditional aspects with contemporary features. The service impeccable, the interior design has a modern twist, the rooms are spacey and bright almost like a loft, radiating a minimalist urban vibe with some reminders of the 'grandness' of old hotels. The breakfast is fantastic, though I am not a big eater in the morning. Upon request they made coffee from the proper machine, which is a delight as even good hotels usually serve awful coffee. The location is fantastic, directly next to the Kunsthaus, and the city center.

Everything was great

This hotel is a great place to stay. The location, the staff and the facilities are all perfect for a stay in Graz. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the centre and a 10 minute walk to the clock tower steps/lift. The staff were all really helpful and super friendly, we felt comfortable throughout our stay. Special thank you to the lady at the bar that got a map and helped us plan our 2 day itinerary, much appreciated. The rooms were super comfortable, just be aware if you're travelling with family like I was that the showers are not private, there's just glass bricks around it so completely see through, it's not a big issue though. Checkout was super quick and the carpark is just behind the hotel. Really recommend this hotel, well worth the stay!

Staff welcome was good. Lift to all floors. Shoe shine machine on landings. Room spacious (Room 518). Large bed. Mini bar. Nice view with opening windows. Blinds kept most of light out. Large shower and toiletries, toilet separate from shower but still in the room. Some free chewy sweets. We didn't have breakfast but it looked like nice food. Easy access to the city's sights.

Pillows were very thin, recommend asking for more. If you're staying for a few nights, you might need to ask for more coat-hangers.

Breakfast was not included, and we generally prefer to have breakfast in local cafes, but the room was beautiful, with a very nice view of the river and the city - there's a specialty coffee place nearby. The hotel itself is charming. I recommend it to everyone who travels to Graz. Great experience overall.

The lack of free water is frustrating, and there is also no coffee or tea available in the room, but overall, we were really satisfied and happy about our stay. The TV was a bit outdated and didn't have Netflix on it - which I personally noticed only because one day I didn't feel so well and stayed in the room during the evening.
