I truly enjoyed my stay. The place has a lot of 'personality' for the way it's designed and furnished. The position is great and even if in the evening the restaurant gets crowded no noise is heard upstairs in the room. Great breakfast, even for vegetarians/vegans and the staff was always warm and eager to bring an espresso or provide some oat milk.

I was surprised to find out that the reception closes at midnight, though it's not a problem per se if one gets organised in advance.

The warmth of the welcome here has to be experienced to be believed. The staff at Gasthof Lend-Platzl might be the friendliest and most helpful hosts ever. I was so touched by the effort the staff made to provide vegan food. They even gave me my own vegan buffet at breakfast. The hotel is exceptionally clean and cosy, and just a 5-10 minute walk from the city centre. I'm sure we'll be visiting Graz again and when we do i'll book in here.

To be honest, it was all very good. The only thing i didn't like were the strong air fresheners which kept making me sneeze - i had to place them outside the window.

The hotel is quite near the well-known Kunsthaus and a short walk from Hauptplatz and historical centre of Graz. It is 15 minute walk from Graz main train station. It lies at a rather busy crossroads Lendplatz-Volksgartenstrasse, but this is not noticeable thanks the well-insulated windows in the rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite a treat. They have individual style, are clean, and well-kept. Housekeeping is perfect. Breakfast is very nice - it is not a buffet but ordered by menu. The restaurant part is also very good. Surely can recommend this place.

Everything about the hotel is fine and of high quality, except unfortunately for the wifi. It very often had such a weak signal that I could not connect and had to work through roaming data of my mobile phone. So that was a letdown.

Buffet breakfast on Sunday morning was very nice. It’s hard to find things open on Sunday, but the hotel opened the restaurant just for breakfast. We had a family dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was very good.

Hotel restaurant closes after breakfast Sunday. Even the reception was closed for the rest of the day. Small family owned hotel. You’re on your own Sunday with only an emergency number to call.

We did a long trip from Istanbul to Edinburgh on trains and stayed in maybe 15 different hotels/guesthouses. Gasthof Lend-Platzl was easily our favourite. The room was such a beautifully decorated room, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the breakfast (we chose the vegetarian option) was AMAZING. Fresh bread, homemade dips/sauces, delicious cheese.

Very nice hotel with absolutely fantastic breakfast with home made juices and jams. Nicely quiet location.

No staff available on holiday to great guests - no response (once answering machine) to listed number. Very fortunately I had company upon arrival as another guest couple could not get in. Other guest came by and showed us the location of the “holiday” entry door. And the kind guest carried my suitcase up two flights of stairs as the elevator is not operational on holidays.

Very nicely appointed small hotel. It’s directly above a restaurant run by the same family. The food is great, the staff friendly, and it has a nice roof top bar (or place to have dinner).

They don’t offer laundry service, but that’s not too big of a deal if you’re willing to walk down the street to a laundromat (about 5 minute walk).

We had a very wonderful stay at Gasthof Lind-Platzl. It is an old hotel that has been beautifully restored. We loved the many interesting design details. Our room was spacious with a large bathroom, comfortable beds, and in the morning we enjoyed a hearty, tasty breakfast. We also ate dinner at the hotel - excellent. Highly recommended for its quality, personal attention, and location. Parking is available very nearby.

Amazing hotel, staff, location, breakfast, everything. Best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Austria. Very comfortable rooms, very nice beds, and extremely quiet, so you’d never know there was a restaurant downstairs. Would definitely stay here if we come to Graz again.

I liked the way how the rooms were designed. It felt very special. The staff was accommodating and helped me stay another night - different room, but same floor. Also, they helped me contact a friend. Overall, I really felt like a guest!
