The staff immediately established a rapport with us when they offered to give us a new room with fewer stairs. The breakfasts were full selections of meats, breads, a variety of nuts and dried fruit, eggs to order and much more. Our room was a generous size with comfortable chairs for relaxing. A spacious and comfortable lobby area is an ideal place to rendezvous with friends on small couches or comfy armchairs.The bar serves drinks and snacks perfect for a small lunch or a bedtime snack. The hotel is filled with a curated contemporary art collection interesting and stimulating!

The bathroom was very small and the shower hardware was difficult to figure out!

The staff are universally exceptional, making one feel very welcome. The breakfasts are outstanding, with many choices to meet all tastes. The art throughout the hotel is exciting and of a very good standard. Especially interesting are the exposed beams in the reception and lounge areas showing the antiquity of the hotel. As for the room, the bed is very comfortable, and the shower is great.

Some aspects of the room looked tired, for example, a light switch that worked intermittently, a radiator that needed repainting, and floor tiles that needed regrouting.

Location was good, had lots of space and nice lounge where we had bar snacks. After prompting the receptionist recommended a great restaurant in the town. We didn't have the hotel breakfast but found great little breakfast spot a short walk away. Able to use the trams on instruction from reception although their information about paying wasn't right. Enjoyed trip to Schloss Eggenburg and able to get tram back to main station on our departure.

When we arrived we felt the welcome rather luke warm - we weren't offered information (although we got a map and recommendations when we asked) - and we did have a problem with noise in the room (some sort of alarm) and so had to move eventually.

The room was large and decorated with stylish furniture - large bureau, table, sofa and wardrobe. The hotel was tastefully decorated with a range of sofas in the lounge and original artwork hung throughout. There was a good selection for breakfast and at all times the staff were courteous, professional, friendly and helpful. The garden was terraced, included a small swimming pool and there were tables and chairs on different terraces giving views across the city. The location was within walking distance of local places of interest. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

I have no negative comments to make. We loved everything about the hotel.

tasty breakfast, very nice atmosphere, smiling waitresses ready to help at any moment, choice of newspapers, peace and privacy during the breakfast. Perfect English of all employees working there. The view from the appartment was amazing!

I do not find anything i could complain about. Maybe it would be good to have double access to the building where appartments are located - so far everyone is allowed to enter the building - entry with the key only could be a better option.

It was a lovely place with Austrian architecture, easily accessible by Taxi, Tram, waking and close to the city center. The Breakfast was fantastic with wide variety of selection. Altogether we stayed five nights. more the very kind young staff members both in the reception and the Restuarant attending promptly to our requests . Their response to the customers is exceptional, you feel you are in good hands. We would love to stay in a future visit.

Super nice staff, very pleasant, very helpful and ready to answer any question. Very nice breakfast. Premises are clean.

Room is too simple for the 5 star hotel, both windows had walls or other windows within two meters distance, hence no sunlight. I am 185 and I hit my head badly, because the entrance to the bathroom is very low and it is not highlighted. Room was quite cold and air conditioner didn't function as heating unit.

Great hotel in a very nice location. Walkable distance to all the attractions. Quite spacious suites with all required amenities, also very warm rooms. The staff was friendly and polite, very helpful at all times. We ended up in the hotel on Christmas Eve, and thankfully the restaurant was working, while the whole city was closed. The breakfast was very tasty and fresh, one of the best cake selections I've seen in hotels.

Historic building beautifully renovated, filled with art. Spacious room with vintage furniture. Very quiet, very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was really good. Very central location. Very clean. Chocolates near the bed and living flowers in the bathroom. Had a very pleasant stay!

Not all rooms have elevator leading to them. It was no problem for us, but I would recommand future visitors to specify that if needed. Could have one more armchair in the room, we did not ask for it though.

Really interesting and characterful property, with super staff who were always helpful. Be prepared to do some stairs…..the gardens extend far up the hill below the Schloss and should be explored! Rooms well equipped and spotless. Breakfast is of a very high quality. Highly recommended. Don’t overlook exploring the artwork in the property. It is rather interesting!
