A hotel nested in a luscious garden/forest setting. Has a tranquil atmosphere. I can see why it is a popular event venue. The staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast buffet, with warm breakfast dishes that one can order. The bed was very comfortable.

Just some minor things that can be easily addressed: The hair dryer in the room was old and needs to be replaced. Was weak and couldn't dry my hair properly. AC was leaking, and water dripped on my forehead. Pulling luggage on wheels was difficult on the uneven cobbled stones. And staff to help you carry luggage were scarce.

Restaurant food and atmosphere was great, well done. The room we eventually ended up sleeping in was good. The pool area is nice, although we didnt use it. The location is great as well.

The room we were meant to sleep in, didnt have warm water. We informed the team working at the time, but it took quite long to resolve the query...we believe it could have been resolved a bit faster. A plan was however made, and we got another room with warm water later on, and everything was good. Thanks for resolving the query. We will be back.

"I had an incredible experience! The connection to nature was truly refreshing, with lush surroundings and serene vibes. The weather was perfect, making my stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the swimming pool—absolutely stunning and impeccably maintained. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway."

"I had an overall pleasant stay with great connection to nature, perfect weather, and an amazing swimming pool that was a joy to use. However, the internet signal was very weak, which made it challenging to stay connected. If this issue can be improved, it would make the experience absolutely perfect!"

The setting was amazing and the grounds and gardens beautiful. The architecture was Cape dutch and it had a very rural feel, with chickens running around, ducks swimming in ponds and there was also a swan pool. The outside restaurant had plenty of tables under the trees. It was hard to believe that one was in the middle of town. There was even a hairdresser on site. The pool area was secluded and private. The vegetable and herb garden, called "Kanaän was unique and was a main source for the ingredients used for the menu at the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made one feel at home. The Food at the restaurant was delicious and the menu very unique. The wine selection was also very good. The breakfast was excellent and included in the room price. A great continental breakfast spread was serve daily and for a hot breakfast there was a choice of either farmhouse special (a traditional South African breakfast of eggs, bacon, boerewors and grilled mushrooms and tomato) or a chefs special. These were all delicious, original and prepared well. The breakfast also included a free cappuccino every morning. One could either eat inside in the restaurant or outside under the trees. At night the grounds were lit with fairy lights turning it into a wonderland. The rooms were very spacious and beautifully finished, each with an oriental carpet, works desk, and big closet space. The beds and cushions were very comfortable. Each room had a big bathroom with a shower and free standing tub and Charlotte Rhys amenities. There was a fridge in the room, an electric kettle, and coffee and tea. A really nice touch was the " Tussie Mussie", a fresh herb infusion picked on the day of arrival and to be used in the tub. These kinds of special touches made the stay at Klein Kaap very unique and memorable.

The check-in process was smooth, the members of staff very friendly and responsive to our queries/requests. We ordered a picnic in their gardens and it was delicious. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated with antique furniture and white linen.

Overall the stay was great. There were two African Grey Parrots kept in an enclosure on the grounds. While they are in good health, it would be nice to see the existence of some enrichment in the way of wooden toys/blocks/ropes for them since they're highly intelligent and need stimulation.

Great safe spot with easy access to Centurion and the surrounding Pretoria suburbs. We enjoyed our stay a lot and will be back.

Kleinkaap is also a wedding venue. During our stay there were receptions both nights with load music until about midnight. It was a bit load but not too bad. I think people should be informed of pending wedding receptions upon booking their stay. Just so that everyone is in the loop.

Great staff especially at the restaurant and the staff member who checked us out this morning was so kind! Every detail was so thoughtful from the fresh milk in the fridge, to the softest robes in the closet, to the best bath tub I've ever seen. It was really warm and inviting!

Kleinkaap adds small details to the room that just make you feel extra special - like the small bedside bouquet that you can put in your bathwater for the fragrance and oils! All the staff members are friendly and helpfull and the food here is unlike any other.

The breakfast was excellent. Good coffee, plenty of fruit and good variety of baked goodies. I didn't have a cooked breakfast but I'm sure it was excellent.

I found the lighting in the bedroom a bit insufficient and there should have been a light switch for the bathroom closer to the bathroom. There should also be more sockets for charging phones etc. I had to unplug the desk lamp in order to be able to plug in my phone, and could not charge phone and laptop at the same time.
