I stayed here for a month solo - safe location. Walked from the bus stop at 2am and always felt safe. -bus stop 5 minute walk away -family owned and speaks English - well equipped kitchen -responsive with messages and requests - COMFORTABLE beds and pillows. I loved the soft lighting in the room. -clean clean clean -5 minute walk to ski mountain (Les houches) - hiking next to chalet. Loved exploring the woods -busses every 30 minutes to Chamonix

Closest grocery store is 30 minute walking or 7 minute by bus

Very friendly and helpful staff. A free bus pass was included with the room. The bus could take you all the way into Chamonix. Took only 5 mins to walk to Parion ski lift station. 10-15 mins walk into Bellevue station. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Great shower too. Nice to have early check in, late check out, and ski/luggage storage room. Very quite area and perfect for a 3 day solo ski trip in Les Houches. Having electric roller blinds is great as the room is nice and dark. Nice and easy breakfast, served on a tray that I could bring to my room which was great. Superb communication with emails.

No control of heating, set by house for radiators, but not an issue as nice and warm.

Everything! The location is amazing! The small town has Skilifts 200 m from the hotel! The check in was smooth! There was a huge box of chocolate as a welcoming present! Loved our stay!

It’s rather “not a bug but a feature” situation. There a clock which didn’t work! However, it’s a perfect fit for the accommodation. Time really stood still there!

Clean comfortable room with modern bathroom and large very nice shower. Use of kitchen with plenty of equipment. They allowed me to leave my luggage after check out and even said I could use the kitchen, lounge etc until I had to leave even though check out was 11am.

The bedside tables were coming away from the wall slightly.

There is nothing at all in the village after 6pm. The last bus back is early also although its a short walk to the next village which had a bar and a couple of restaurants. It didnt affect our stay as it was me and my 11 year old son so it was fine. I would love to stay here again for the chalet although i would be out off by remote location if travellinbg with friends or mum was with us. Nothing to do with the chalet though

We were delighted with our stay at the Chalet La Barme Les Houches. The guests were very friendly, responsive and helpful. The facilities have anything you need during a week of ski vacation: a beautiful mountain (Mt Blanc) view, ski closet, a warmed closet for the ski boots, great and clean bathroom and a cosy apartment. We also particularly liked the shaded windows, which were very much appreciated for my partner's sleep quality!

Excellent value, clean and comfortable accommodation within a short walk to the Prarion ski lift, hire shop and the bus stop for travelling along the Chamonix valley. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. We were three and stayed in the family apartment. Breathtaking views.

I would find it very difficult to complain about anything given the price, location and views.

Hosts were really lovely and let us check in early and helped us store our ski gear. The apartment was very spacious and well stocked for four adults. Great views of the mountains and a 5 minute walk to the ski lift. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great location, easy access to ski shops and ski lift. what makes this place special is the host, she is amazing. Such a great location, you can see Agui di midi from the property. Rooms are very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. The host spent an hour of her time to book tickets for us and advise how best to explore the area. Definitely going back. we love you guys.

The chalet is at a beautiful and quiet location, only 3min walk to the bus station. Nice people and everything you need to cook and sleep well. View from the room was the best I ever had. Great value

Overall cleanliness is good, but can be improved in kitchen and bathroom.
