The rooms are spacious and can accommodate travel with an infant. There is a restaurant across the way. It is very centrally located in Stellenbosch. The town isn’t far and many vineyards are within driving distance. Special mention to Tim who helped us a lot during our stay and Emily who served us at the restaurant including the general managers both day and night.

We assumed the restaurant was within the hotel however reservations were required and we were not notified of this. Luckily a table became available from a group that finished early however not having that would not have been ideal after a long flight with an infant at 8pm!

So stylish, old building ensemble with a stunning neo-retro style inside. All facilities perfect, close to Dorp Street and the city Center (restaurants, shops, etc. walking distance approx 10min), easy to drive out of the city as well from the hotel. Very helpful staff. Safe place with 24/7 security. Small pool in a very nice inner courtyard. Breakfast is taken in the restaurant nearby: very good. Parking in front of the room.

The hotel consists in many vintage style cottages with rooms separated by nice small gardens and pathways which makes it very special and so charming. However, if raining or cold, you have to cross the property outside by walk to reach the restaurant or the reception (but the umbrella is provided in rooms ;-)

The building, the decor, the welcome, the grounds… all amazing

I didn’t like that as hotel guests the restaurant wasn’t keeping any tables for us in case we wanted to dine there. But, we did experience evening in Stellenbosch which is a really lovely town and it’s super buzzy in the evening with a great outdoor dining scene. Also traffic from the room was quite loud. At one point it sounded like someone speeding up and down the driveway. But didn’t really bother me.

Very comfortable rooms. The beds are really comfortable. Excellent breakfast and location. Free wi-fi was excellent for business purposes. Many restaurants within walking distance.

I was disappointed when I left my toiletries behind. I send an email to ask them to keep it for me, and will fetch it in a week's time on my way home. I never received a response on my mail. On my arrival a week later, they confirmed that they received the mail, but housekeeping could not find anything and said that it was most likely disposed off. When I ask what the lost goods policy is, it was confirmed that housekeeping should have handed it in as reception.

The location was close to Stellenbosch centre and felt safe. The sister restaurant served a good breakfast with the option of each other meals there too. A beautiful looking place with a great lounge area and small pool with good facilities (toilet and shower).

The family room was small with small double beds. The layout was not well thought out. The kitchette is a good idea but not the cost of limited wardrobe space and somewhere to put suitcases.

Perfect location, just off Dorp Street which has lots of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops (plus a cute Sunday market). It's on a really quiet road so there's no noise or light pollution to wake you up at night. The room was a decent size, had a huge walk in shower and the bed was super comfy. Loved the "honesty bar" which allowed you to help yourself to food and drinks and pay for them at the end of your stay. The pool was small but a lovely place to sit and read at the end of the day.

Nothing, checking in and out was very smooth and we really enjoyed our stay!

The restaurant was excellent. The staff brilliant , friendly and accommodating.

DSTV didn't work correctly. The airline was stuck in high fan speed so had to keep turning on off all the time, had to get someone to fix the safe. Also poached eggs at breakfast tasted of vinegar. Honesty bars dont really work with high turnover of customer. Also pool area is a lot smaller than photos show.

Staff, hotel itself, pool, room. We even got an upgrade to a better room category for free

It's right next to the main road, so a bit more soundproofing would be amazing. Also that the gardener, or whoever it was started some loud work at 06:40 in the morning wasn't really nice to wake up to.

The property is beautiful - lovely big rooms and a clean, modern pool. It is very quiet location, but only a short walk to town. The honesty bar is good value and a nice touch.

I would generally recommend this property but the room temperature is set to 23 degrees and you cannot make your room cooler than this. I found it too hot at night. I would recommend this policy is amended so the rooms could be made cooler (we stayed there in 2023 and do not recall this restriction).

Room was great. Staff were very nice. Bar and pool area not used but looked lovely. Breakfast at the restaurant next door was delicious every day.

There is a tree dropping fruit outside some of the rooms. This was messy for suitcases, shoes etc. we manage to bring it in to the room. It is swept every day but we arrived on a bank holiday so I guess wasn’t done for 2 days, and the tree drops A LOT. Not applicable to all rooms
