I was pleasantly surprised as the Club King Room we got was newly-renovated, with USB-C charging ports, a huge bed, a filtered water tap (saves on plastic bottles!), and everything needed for a comfortable stay. We asked for firmer pillows and housekeeping brought them right over (the default ones were very soft). Bathroom was huge and included a shower and bathtub. With a club room, club benefits meant access to the club lounge (cold bites at 2.30pm, happy hour alcohol and more substantial/hot bites from 5.30pm), and one could feasibly not need any other food as the fruits/breads/cheeses/salad/snacks are enough to fill up with. But it's also easy and cheap to order in via Grabfood for some local cuisine if you don't feel like paying steeper prices at the on-site restaurants. It's also easy and cheap to book a Grab to/from the airport or into town. There's a 7-11 right outside the entrance of the resort if you need more snacks (ice-cream!) or essentials. Club guests also get free 1h kayak/stand-up paddle (we didn't manage to use this as the sea was rough for all 3 days we were there) and free 2pc laundry/pressing per night of stay. It wasn't that far really to walk from the rooms to the lobby, fitness centre, pools, beach or restaurants, but the absolutely searing hot sun in the daytime made the golf carts much appreciated (just dial 0 to call them at any time). Breakfast hours were long (6am to 11am), which allowed for leisurely sleep-ins; exactly what we wanted out of a relaxing beach holiday. Lots of nature around--mangroves and very very loud crickets, and we saw quite a few giant monitor lizards roaming the grounds, though thankfully they didn't come near. The staff were always friendly and smiling, and surprised us with a cute cake even though I never mentioned my birthday.

The TV could have had Netflix, it seemed like a Smart TV but could only access YouTube for some reason. The showerhead was a bit leaky. The light switches were numerous and a bit difficult to figure out what corresponds to what! They left us a non-functional keycard to keep the electricity on in the room while we were out, but we wanted to be eco-responsible and took it out of the slot as we didn't need the aircon while not in the room, only to return to see that housekeeping had inserted a coaster into the slot to keep the electricity on - probably not good for the climate!

The service was perfect and the resort is amazing. We will, definitely stay here again.

only thing that can be improved is the restaurant reservation within the reception. We reserve the resort restaurants two times, first time the there was no reservation and the second time restaurant was closed and reception did not tell us until we went to restaurant at dinner time.

The private beach is so so lovely - crystal clear waters, very safe and clean white sands. The rooms are well appointed and the resort is expansive, green and simply gorgeous. The staff are super attentive especially the ones at the Club Lounge and very accommodating. The Thai food at Mangosteen was deliciously authentic and we enjoyed every bit of our stay. The pool is well kept with lots of shaded areas (with fans!!!) and lounge chairs are always available. Overall we could not fault this property.

The only issue was that our flight was at night so once we checked off and used the spa, we wanted to have an early dinner before heading to the airport at 6.30 pm and none of their restaurants were open so we were forced to eat at the beach side restaurant which had no airconditioned and we pretty much got fried in our airport clothes!! So if they can take this into consideration and keep at least one place open it may help guests.

Breakfast was outstanding. The location was peaceful - removed from the craziness of AoNang but close enough to get there easily enough if you wanted to. Beach was quiet. Bedrooms were comfortable and very clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

I’ve never felt more looked after, relaxed and refreshed on ANY vacation than I did here. Rooms: gorgeous. Vibes: immaculate. Scenery: breathtaking. Food: so many options - go for a walk along the beach and find more restaurants dotted everywhere. But the service: the staff were the loveliest and most helpful people we’ve ever encountered. One story (among many): I mentioned to someone IN PASSING that I liked the cold tea they served at check in. Later that day, we came back to the room and found they had left a bottle of the tea on the counter WITH A RECIPE FOR THE TEA in case I wanted to make it at home. That is otherworldly good service.

It took us a few days to stop feeling guilty about how accomodating everyone was to us haha.

My son and I had the most amazing experience here..I would definitely go back..if you are looking to book I would suggest spending a bit more to get a club lounge. The club lounge, I cannot name everyone individually because I will forget someone , but my favourite girl Fa was so sweet and we bonded over cats...but big big big shout to all the girls and boys and chefs in club lounge, they looked after us impeccably..food and drinks selection was amazing . the resort is amazing I have no other words tbh....I couldn't fault anything, resort staff are so polite and hospitable.. Hands down the best resort stay I have ever had in my life and I would go back to Thailand just to stay there. I used facilities like the gym and pools, I could not believe they had a room dedicated to sounds baths which I was able to take advantage of. the resort is impeccably kept, the pools crystal clear We didn't eat in restaurant as we had the club lounge and chose to eat in local restaurant across the road once or twice. there is a 7 eleven right outside for supplies but beware you can't pay by card below 500 baht!. The location is perfect , it's quiet, private beach, but only a 15 minute taxi ride to Ao Nang nearest town..

There is nothing to fault !

Dusit Thani We had a wonderful stay at Dusit Thani in march 2025. The hotel is part of a large, park-like resort located at a quiet part of the Klong Muang beach. The hotel has 2 restaurants (asian and italian) which are both very good. You can also reach neighboring restaurants and bars both via street and the beach. If you book a club room, you have access to a special breakfast offer, afternoon tea with snacks and sunset drinks incl. tasty cocktails at the lounge - all free of extra charge. It also has a full fledge gym with classes on all weekdays and watersports facilities. In the evening you can choose between two bars with free pool billards table. The best aspect of the hotel are the extremely friendly staff who read every wish from your eyes, especially the lounge manager Wa with her team members Fa, Fang, Name, Sea and all of the kitchen Crew. The artist, who makes the shaped pancakes is a highlight of the breakfast. Wawwa, Katie and their collegues do everything to make a fantastic stay at the beach during the day. The massage booth at the beach is very recommended. We would love to come back.

Absolutely flawless, just wow! We left another resort in Ao Nang early to stay here, and it is the best decision we ever made, the best hotel Ive ever stayed in. The rooms were gorgeous, the biggest bed I've ever seen, and the resort is absolutely beautiful, with gorgeous gardens and lush tropical greenery. Both pools were stunning, with infinity views over the beach. Really quiet beach too and a brilliant massage place right on the beach, daily massages with the sound of the waves is heaven. The staff at the DT were so friendly and welcoming - especially Alan in the swim up bar, Fit who welcomed us and gave us a tour of the resort, and Kaiwan at Mangosteens. There are lots of beachfront restaurants a short walk from the resort but we choose to eat at Mangosteens 3 out of 4 nights because the food was that good. breakfast was also incredible. Great happy hour deals on cocktails, and the 2 south African singers were excellent. really cannot fault anything with this place, I'm so sad to leave! we will be back.

I can't find anything to say about what I didn't like at the DT. everything was perfect.

We are a family with 2 toddlers and just finished an incredible 10 night stay at Dusit Thani. The room was spacious, clean and perfectly suited us. The real highlight of our trip was the staff - from Ro at breakfast to the porters assisting with the golf carts to Jai and Nee and all the kids club team - you were so kind and helpful. We paid for the club access which I highly recommend - a big call out to Fa, Fit and Fang for the warm welcome, friendliness and going the extra mile everyday for all of us. The setting and grounds of the hotel are beautiful, the staff are all incredible and I can't fault anything about our stay - I hope we can come back again!

3rd time at Dusit, 2nd time at Krabi. Always love coming back as we love the serenity and openness of the grounds. Love the hotel right by the beach and the many places to sit or lie down and chill. Lots of good restaurants nearby and abt 30min from Ao Nang. Staff are always so polite. Good breakfast buffet. We also love the gym and wellness centre which had alot of things for the family to do. Nice service recovery for the aircon issue ..we were given a nice complimentary fruit platter.

The rooms could do with an upgrade. We had some issues with the aircon 3x. But staff were prompt to attend. Can change the switches to have USB or c direct plug ins so that guests do not need to use adapters.
