Armando! The host goes out of his way to make your stay perfect. He came and got us at the ferry. We had arranged to rent scooters but when we arrived and saw that they are more like motorcycles and not mopeds there was no way we could drive them safely - Armando came up with a plan b of renting electric bikes which were so much fun. He made excellent restaurant recommendations and checked on us. Definitely the best host in Italy. The villa has such an amazing view of the island and ocean from the spacious veranda. AC worked like a charm and the room was comfortable. We highly recommend staying here and will come again!

The location has pros and cons. The pro is that it is up high so provides stunning views and is in a quiet neighborhood. The con is that is isn’t easily walkable so you will want some sort of wheels like electric bikes or scooter (aka motorcycle).

We had a fantastic time at villa Antoinetta. The room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony with a view overlooking the garden, with the sea in the distance. The breakfast on the patio was lovely with a mix of pastries, yoghurt, juice and coffee. A few minutes scooter ride from the beach, the thermal baths of Negombo and the Mortella botanical gardens. Armando was incredibly kind and communicative. We felt very welcome as soon as we arrived and the experience added to our stay at villa Antoinetta. He gave us thoughtful suggestions on where to visit, organised us a scooter for the day and even dropped us off at the port in forio when it was time to leave. Gracie!

I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about my stay at Armando's villa. My boyfriend and I planned a two-week trip to Italy, and after hearing wonderful things about Ischia, we decided to try a place none of our family or friends had visited before. I am already looking forward to scheduling my next trip to Italy and staying with Armando again. Considering we came all the way from San Francisco, it's always a bit of a gamble trying new places, but this one exceeded our expectations. I mean, this was our FAVORITE spot we stayed at during our entire trip. What I loved most was how communicative Armando was, even in the days leading up to our stay. He ensured we had scooters available upon arrival, picked us up and dropped us off from the ferry, and provided recommendations on where to eat and explore, even making reservations for us. Often, when traveling to a new place, you have to do a lot of research, but Armando alleviated my concerns and handled everything effortlessly. The view of the island from the villa is beyond amazing! We enjoyed this stunning view during breakfast, which included the best pastries made by Armando's wife. I didn't even realize I liked apricot until I tried one of her tarts. One of my favorite memories from the trip is sitting at the villa with my boyfriend, enjoying some wine, and watching the sunset. If you are considering visiting Ischia, I cannot recommend Armando's villa enough! He will ensure you are as comfortable and happy as can be.

The location of the villa is perfect, it’s high so the view of the sea is magical and also it’s in Forio, close to great beaches to swim, the thermal spas and all the nice places to eat and have an aperitivo or caffe! The host of this villa, Armando, is a real gem, he helped us with everything as if he were our tour guide on the island, he rented a scooter for us which was already there when we checked in, he made reservations to restaurants when we needed and so much more ! This villa is highly recommended!!

Incredible view of port Forio and the sea. The host Armando and his family were very friendly and didn’t hesitate to advise us where to go and what to see, we even had their homemade limoncello with them. They even picked us up in port Forio when we arrived and on the last day took us back. Armando arranged the scooter for us so it was already waiting for us inside the property which was superb.

Just one thing for me personally was the only sweet breakfast options.

Amazing stay with an amazing host. Armando picked us up from the port and helped us out with tips for the area, a scooter and served breakfast with different cake every morning. Late on a Sunday night we realized, we didn't have any bottled water and asked if he knew a place where we could buy some and he came to our room and gave us some. The view from the villa is stunning and the room was very clean and comfortable. All in all the perfect holiday.

Everything was good

The villa was very intimate, clean and spacious. We weren’t lacking anything. The sunset views from the balcony were amazing! But the absolute best about the stay was Armando, the incredible host. Kind, fun, the best restaurant/ activity recommendations and super caring - we can only recommend staying at Villa Antonietta

Scooter is highly recommended if you don’t want to be dependent on busses, Forio is in reach by foot too but it takes 25-30 minutes

I think the blankets were a bit thin,... obviously it was rather cold when we stayed. The air-condition was a must and did the job.
