The swimming pools above all: the outdoor one was at the right temperature to relax under the stars. If a temperature boost was needed, the inside pools were just perfect. Hotel was full but plenty of space for everyone. Hotel staff very nice and helpful, and overall atmosphere very pleasant, all in Ischia style.

Our room (154) was spacious enough, nice ocean view and balcony. But it was very hot (even when keeping the window open) and the soundproofing very poor, as we could hear everything coming from the corridor or from the neighbours.

This is a really clean, well-run hotel that has a relaxed, family feel. It's clear that some guests have been coming here for years. The views from the property are outstanding, and it has really great thermal facilities if that's what you're after in Ischia - while the property is adjacent to Negombo Thermal Park, we didn't even feel the need to go - the hotel had everything! There are so many pools and places to sit out in the beautiful garden. Really reasonable priced food at the hotel. Loved how they kept bottles of wine and water for people at dinner/lunch for your next meal. The centre of Lacco Ameno is easily reached on foot in 10 minutes, although the hotel also offers a shuttle. We also walked to Forio through lovely woodland from the hotel, so it's really well placed for exploring the island. Lovely housekeeping and front of house staff.

Service at main meals times was a bit frantic and I feel like they could benefit from having an extra server in the dining room. The wait staff work really hard, and it shows. The spa could also be improved a bit - we both had several treatments and they weren't the most relaxing we've ever had. The whole experience is quite clinical and perfunctory, rather than luxurious.

The location is great, and the hotel is very comfortable. The rooms were clean and the towels were changed daily (this aspect was way above the average). The main pool is clean and warm and large enough for everyone to enjoy. Other pools were OK too. A short walk to Lacco Ameno, nine bus stops from Forio. Breakfast was OK, especially the variety of sweet pastries stands out above average. The staff is very friendly, they tried to accommodate all our special needs (two families with a total of 5 children!). The food at the beach bar is OK too, and reasonably priced.

One major letdown was the fact that the hotel charges extra for bottled water (2.5 Euro apiece) and beach towels (8 Euro). Theoretically these costs are mentioned in the service contract, but it's only available in Italian. There is no info about that in the rooms (water) or in the spa (towels). Most international guests will probably assume that the 0.5 liter bottles are complimentary (such service is customary at most places). On hot days this can quickly add up to a substantial charge and it will increase your final bill by tens of Euros. I'd be OK with that as long as there is clear info upfront. In our case the extra bill was the final impression of the trip, and that hampered the overall experience.

I recommend this hotel. We felt very comfortable here from the moment we arrived. Everything cozy and clean. All the employees from the reception, to the staff in the restaurant and at the bar and especially the cleaning lady were always willing to help with their own problems and make our stay better. What we really appreciated was the choice of menu in the restaurant, where you decide whether you want lunch or dinner. The pool was large and had plenty of sunbeds. It's a big pity that the other spa facilities, such as the showers, the hot tub and the kneipp bath, are on the other side of the hotel and the sun doesn't shine there anymore in the afternoon. A five minute walk from the hotel is the thermal baths of Negombo and on the other hand the small town of Lacco Ameno, so the location of the hotel is amazing. There is also a bus stop right next to the hotel. Although the rooms are smaller, they were enough for a night's sleep. The balcony was large, unfortunately we didn't have the opportunity to have a room with a sea view, because it was already occupied, but the view of the garden to the highest mountain, Monte Epomeo, was very nice. We have been to the island for several times, but this is the first time in this hotel and we will definitely use it for our next stay.

Excellent sleeping, good bed, firm mattress. Silent and efficient air condition. Calm surroundings, no noise. Clean room, clean bathroom, excellent room cleaning service. Food is wonderful, rich breakfast, you will not be disappointed. Dinner is very good also, the price for the menu is very good. How many pools can you use? I think it was 8 that they have. The hotel has a charming atmosphere, not the usual chain you find all around the world. Very personal. I can only recommend. Great staff. Very nice beach within 5 min of walking, shallow water, excellent swimming. Lots of restaurants in Lacco Ameno nearby, just a few minutes walking.

I can´t think of something worth to mention here. Just peanuts, so I don´t talk about it.

Very good breakfast. It is possible to have lunch/dinner as well and it is excellent. If you do not use that, you can have a dinner in close restaurants. The stuff was nice and heplfull. A room has been equiped by nice terrace where you have beutiful view for sea and Vesuv as well. If you have chance you can see sunrise from a terrace. Bathroom and beds were better than standard. It is pretty close to downtown, with small shops and restaurants The biggest surprise for me was, that the hotel really works like spa with pools with termal or warn sea water and several whirpools. We enjoyed it very much and it was relaxing. For travelling on the island we used public transport - buses, which I would highly reccommend, the streets there are very thin and the public transport is well organized and frequent.

The reception staff were fantastic, they always were patient and willing to help with any queries. They arranged rental of a scooter which was dropped off and picked up straight from the hotel. The shuttle that drops you off in Lacco Ameno was useful when you didn't want to walk down the stairs. The various pools were great and they had live singers in the bar area 3 times a night. The room was large and had a small fridge and the air conditioning was very cold.Also the balcony had a nice view, but the chairs were a little bit uncomfortable as they were metal. The buffet had a good selection of fresh fruit, cereal, cakes, croissants, ham, cheese, etc. The hotel is very near to the bus which takes you to Ischia Porto and you can walk to Negomba thermal spa.

You had to have the same table for dinner and breakfast throughout your stay which could get a little bit repetitive. We ate at the hotel for dinner which wasn't relaxing as it felt rushed. A member of the bar staff gave me a(hot) caffe latte with a straw, possibly something she does to tourists when bored, I found that incident very insulting as I am part Italian. The room was a little bit dated and it was a struggle to fit the travel adapter in the plug socket.

Gorgeous pools, always lots of loungers available and a lovely poolside bar that did a fabulous Aperol Spritz! Rooms were spotlessly clean. Stunning views (see photo from our balcony.) Very helpful reception staff who booked a fabulous wine tasting for us and provided a shuttle there and back.

Breakfast was disappointing - same options every day with limited choice. No fresh fruit (only tinned peaches and prunes). No self-service coffee machine. Rooms were a little dated including air con that was not very effective (though staff kindly provided a fan for us) and electrical sockets were old so our EU adapter only fit the bathroom socket (bathroom was renovated) meaning all appliances could only be charged/used there!

It's very cozy hotel with nice views, near to Mortella garden and Negombo park. 10 min walk distance from the Lacco Ameno sea promenade. Good breakfast, very clean and beautiful territory, excellent service in the dining room. You can buy the bus tickets at the reception desk.. The room itself is very clean. I can highly recommend this hotel for staying in Ischia ! Thanks a lot to the hotel staff for unforgetable vacation 🙂

1. It's a pitty there is no kettle in the room. 2. In my room 149 the safe didnt work, I told about it to the girl at the receiption, but it changed nothing... So I was taking all my documents and money to each place I went ! It was a single disadvantage, except of this all was wonderful for me

Breakfast was provided and was a lovely assortment of pastries, bread, eggs, cheese, meat, cereal, preserves, fresh juice and of course caffeine. The rooms was exceptionally clean, with a lovely view and good updated amenities. The pools were clean, well maintained, not over crowded, there were so many that there was multiple options and the staff were all excellent, especially the bar staff on the main pool floor who provided us with coffee's, drinks, snacks and great new options to try. the location was much closer to the town than we originally thought so we didn't even have to use the shuttle service.
