I recently had the pleasure of staying at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott, and I can confidently say it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt safe. The hotel offers a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The amenities were top-notch. My favorite feature was the kitchenette, which provided a convenient way to prepare meals and enjoy snacks at my leisure. This added touch made my stay feel stress-free, as I could easily cook for myself instead of relying on takeout. The staff were incredibly attentive, always ready to assist with any request or answer questions, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The location is another highlight; it’s centrally located, making it easy to explore nearby attractions and dining options. Overall, I highly recommend TownePlace Suites by Marriott. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning for future visits!

Great room only two blocks away from the FREE tram and bus lines. Easy to get the tram to the airport from here

Could be noisy at night (vehicle noise and people shouting) More recycling could occur (breakfast - plastic utensils and paper plates, but they all go into the main trash can. Although there were notices saying that towels would only be washed if they were on the floor, all the towels and toiletries were renewed during our stay. Even though they were not requested, or required. That was a waste of resources (human and water).

This is our second stay here for a yearly festival we attend. The hotel facilities work really well for us and are pristinely clean. The location is great-close to transit and food and the breakfast is quite decent with some variety of hot food each morning. The kitchen in the rooms is really handy and our room was very quiet.

We were in town for RootsTech (genealogy conference). This hotel is right across the street from the back entrance to the Salt Palace. Tons of restaurants around. Our room was great (2 queens) - very clean and beds were super confortable. Breakfast was much better than I expected - alway hot entrees along with cereals, waffles, good coffee etc

Size of room, mini kitchen, amenities -- all were great.

1) The room was incredibly dry and had some issues with that 2) The temperature gauge frequently reset itself to something higher (I turned it to 68 degrees a number of times in one night) 3) Have unsecured wifi is a major security risk -- having something with a password is much better

This hotel is pristinely clean and is in a central downtown location. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Reggi gave us an outsized welcome:) We had a king studio with a kitchenette and while the room was really a standard sized hotel room the kitchenette was nicely stocked and the room had everything we needed. The breakfast options were decent and varied; oatmeal, cereal, crustless quiche or scrambled eggs, yogurt, fruit, sausage, bacon and the requisite waffles. And the coffee was decent! TIP! Cesar's Mexican food truck is outside the hotel on weekend nights and has the most amazing burritos! We bought an extra to stash in the fridge for the next night. Such a treat!

The room AC system is one where the unit below the window is controlled by a wall thermostat. We found it to be incredibly drying. We tried to shut it off completely but the fan runs on low regardless of fan set off position.

The Location was perfect. I also really appreciate the use of a blender because then I could make my own smoothie in the mornings.

The noise from the bars below our room was really unbearable. I didn't know I needed to ask for a quiet room.

We were there for a concert at the Delta center so I liked the location and the fact that we could walk there. Also it is within walking distance of several restaurants.

We did use the pullout bed and the linens in the closet were put in a sealed bag wet, so they smelled like mildew and were damp. There’s plenty of room to put the linens on a shelf so they can breathe. I would suggest this, or make sure they are completely dry before storing.

Everything about this hotel made us comfortable and welcomed. The staff were super nice, there were lots of nice amenities in the lobby and in the room. The room was spacious and the kitchenette was great, as was the bed. I liked the modern and efficient configuration of the sleeping area, sitting/work area and kitchen area. There was also a nice closet that lit up when the door was opened. Breakfast was better than expected, with hot eggs, sausage or bacon, oatmeal, and croissant/egg sandwiches, as well as carb options. We appreciated the laundry room and fitness rooms as well. Parking was convenient and secure. The location was really good for seeing sights in the downtown area and there is a nice downtown shopping area nearby.

There was nothing significant to dislike.

Spotless property seems new though they are planning a renovation. Rooms are great. The location is good - there is a lot of road construction in the area as of the date we were there. Overall a fine hotel.

Parking is not free - in a lot around the corner from the hotel.
