Staff was helpful and friendly. Price was amazing for what you got. Room was very clean as was the lobby. We didn't have time to use the pool or other facilities so I can't rank those. Shuttle from airport was complimentary and prompt. All and all a very good experience with an excellent location. Will definitely stay there again.

Nothing. Although it is obviously not a brand new building, it had charm and was an excellent value. BTW, I was a prior hotel owner of 24 years so we know what to look for!

Friendly staff, lounge with entertainment, nice lobby area, elevators and luggage carts available. Rooms were basic but roomy and clean. Bathroom had nice teleworking. Fridge was very small and microwave adequate. Pricing was reasonable.

The heat/cooling system was very noisy and kept us awake most of the night. A lot of traffic noise from the parking lot, even though we were on the 5th floor. TV screen was huge, covering the mirror on the wall behind it. The mirror should have been centered over the desk area. The coffee maker was tiny and only 1 pack of regular and 1 pack of decaf were provided for 1 guests.

The guest service people are absolutely wonderful and very accommodating.

Don't think it's right to be charged $14 a night for parking in that neighborhood. The breakfast at the restaurant that is attached to the hotel is way overpriced for the quality of food. Booking.com charged me for my room yet my reservation didn't show up so I had to pay again. Still trying to work on getting reimbursed for one of the charges.

I love this hotel. It's close to the hwy and easy access to food, gas, groceries etc. I have stayed here about 10 times already with family or by myself. Great hotel.

The bed on the 5th floor was way too high. I stayed one floor higher about 4 days earlier and the bed was easy access. There was also an annoying flickering light at the plug that the hotel phone is plugged into and it's right by the head of the bed. Had to cover it up to sleep. Also, slow toilet in this room (520). Bed was also too soft in this room!!: I will ask for the 6th floor next time. The nice lady at the desk said she would put a note in the computer but I see she got pretty busy as I was stepping away so I hope she remembers.

Room was very nice bed was a little too firm. Bathroom was nice. We love the bar downstairs although we didn't use it this visit. The lobby area is very inviting and it's great that there is a pool and a hot tub.

We were given a connecting room, and we could hear the people in the other room talking all the time and noise was easily heard from the hall as well. Put in better doors to alleviate the noise. There is a mirror behind the TV cabinet - why? It's not usable. Move it to over the microwave perhaps. I don't like that we have to pay for parking when we aren't guaranteed a convenient spot. I think paying guests should have parking that is designated and not just open to anyone who comes into the bar, as they have free parking, but we didn't. What is the point of paying for parking? Just so the hotel can make more money without adding anything for the guest? And the charge was way too high.

Close to the highway and the things we needed to do while in Grand Junction.

I called the week before to change my room from a single bed to double beds, when we went to check in, they had not done that so our room was not ready. We were told we would be called when it was, but didn’t. Just felt like they weren’t apologetic about the mix up. Beds are too small for 2 people to sleep in. Breakfast should be included, way over priced continental breakfast! $14/ day for parking is ridiculous, this too should be included in your rooms. The restaurant was out of a lot of food. The waitstaff was very nice, she made it worth it and karaoke was fun. This would not have been my choice but stayed where our friends were staying out of convenience. It was nice, but next time we may choose a place that has parking and breakfast included.

The restaurant looked fun with the love music playing as we entered, we really enjoyed the proximity to the airport because we were walking but the front desk ladies were incredibly sweet and have it that good small town friendly vibe! We were just on a lay over flight but glad we went and it was great price for the night! Clean and cozy!

great area close to everything. Pool area was nice( clean and nice size). I liked that there was a restaurant in the hotel even though I didn't go. Beds were soft and nice.

I didn't really care for the restaurant turning into the bar at night and tge intrance being in the lobby. At night I could feel the vibration from the bar in my room. I was ok with it, but any sound sleeper would have not been.

The bed was amazing I fell right to sleep and room was big clean and nice temperature. I would have loved to stay longer. Also bathtub was a small Jacuzzi tub I didn't expect it . But when a saw it and used it it was more then a great surprise to the room. They put did my expectations. Recommend anyone to stay there . Nice fun friendly and comfortable and safe environment. Love the Grand Vista Hotel in Grand Junction Colorado. The atmosphere is fabulous, they are very kind to animals here, customer service was exceptional from all staff. The restaurant has great choices and the bar is reminiscent of the old world style. Thank you!!

Parking Lot was too difficult to navigate with the luggage rack, it needs re paving, parking space sizes are suitable. Because of the potholes, I left my suitcases under surveillance and felt extremely safe in doing this. Staff and guests are keeping an eye out for each other, in addition to Grand Vista Hotel’s excellent security.
