Good hotel

Checkin was not good. They refused first low price booking as shown on booking.com Booked with higher rate Some maintenance work was happening at reception with lot of grinding and drilling noise Staff gave us room just above the work being done We asked for change of room They gave another but it's ac was non proper. Then they have us another room which was good We had traveled for 12 hours and wanted to take rest upon checkin bit lot of time passed by due to room issue After that first day episode stay was very comfortable and staff was very good. We enjoyed fully

Excellent location with the added benefit of having a taxi rank outside. Staff were helpful and always smiling. Restaurant staff were prompt in clearing tables and taking orders to the kitchen

Was surprised that in Goa the breakfast spread did not have any pork items. Was concerned that in the breakfast hall they had a hot plate for dosa's at a very low level that could have resulted in a kid touching - but I guess parents should be looking after their kids. Laminated floor was not mopped for a while by the looks of it.

Booked the Suite with two rooms on different floors connected by staircase with 2 TVs. Breakfast had a lot of variety and was popular with both Veg and Non-Veg patrons. Services like Pool were thoroughly enjoyable. Ambience of the room and lobby was exceptional and out-of-place. Near to Candolim, Baga beaches and not far from Agouda beach. Taxi service just outside the hotel and is reasonable and they all work for hotel guests.

Should invest in a professional band to play songs during dinner. Ala-carte experience can be improved along with the buffer experience for dining.

Loved my stay at Novotel Goa! The location is spot on, the food is delicious, and the breakfast spread is huge with tons of variety. A special mention to Chef Pritpal Singh for his exceptional hospitality and culinary expertise—every meal was a delight! The facilities are amazing, and the vibe is just perfect for a relaxing vacation. Totally worth it—would definitely stay here again!

Nothing I can think of

During our stay, we booked three rooms for ourselves and friends, and to our pleasant surprise, we were all upgraded for free, enhancing the comfort of our experience. The rooms were impeccably maintained, and the breakfast spread was excellent. The hotel staff was friendly and contributed to our enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

On the downside, the view from our balcony was less than desirable, overlooking a nearby house or guesthouse. Additionally, we found the taxi services outside the hotel to be comparatively expensive when compared to those from similar establishments.

Really liked how the whole building looked. There's a very tropical ambiance going on about. The service is also amazing. We had a room problem because there was suddenly a bad smell in the room, and the staff did excellent job in resolving it. They mad sure we were comfortable in the new room, and compensated us through giving us transportation the next day when we had to go to my friend's wedding location.

The breakfast buffet could be better. Not entirely bad, but perhaps it's just my lack of knowledge on indian breakfast food. :D

All the facilities and ambience.

We had booked the room with 2 adult plus 1 child. The room given was more or less similar to double occupancy. We had to struggle fitting in that bed. We should have intimated well in advance about the facility. This is just an advice. Thanks

We visited Goa for a short stay, one week, to see family following a bereavement. After having difficulty in the hotel providing us with a room, which was really not quite ready - we needed to wait 6 hours, having arrived at the hotel early in the morning well in advance of the check-in time, the hotel manager kindly provided us with room to freshen up and to grab a few hours of sleep. Most grateful for this gesture as nearly all the rooms were full booked. Once we were given our room near to check in time (3pm), the hotel staff made our transition to the new room seamless and we enjoyed our stay in the allocated room, which was a luxury double bedroom. During our stay, we managed to eat breakfast, lunch (a la carte) and dinner in the hotel's dining room. I must say all the restaurant staff went out of their way to help us and provide us with food which was off the menu! Halfway during our stay, both my better half and myself suffered from a cold and flu like symptoms (not Covid - we did test) and 2 members of the restauarant staff made us a local "Todi" to ease our pains. I must say this was a magic portion and within 24-48 hours we were feeling better. So a Special Thanks to the restaurant staff, Siddesh, Asim, Riyal and Mark for your great hospitality, friendliness and understanding of our dietary demands and of course for making us feel better following a brief bout of illness! A truly great team, even accommodating my requirement to watch England v USA at 12,30am local time in Goa. Well done guys!

I liked everything!

The suite room has a good layout with the sleeping and bath area being on the mezzanine. The restroom is very big with a good layout. It has both a shower cubicle and a tub. The ground floor of the room has a day room / home office kind of layout where one can work, meet or entertain people without compromising the privacy of the sleeping area. The bed is big enough for three adults and the couch can accommodate another adult. The food choice of the buffet breakfast is good.

Extra bedsheets and pillows were not provided in the room by default even though the hotel knew that a family of four would be checking in. These were however supplied promptly upon request. The hotel is located in a densely populated area and as such the view from the rooms is nothing to talk about.
