Nice position, food proposal generally various and tasty, respect for free animals (friendly dogs and cats free to roam in the resort...I love it, that was really cute!!) nice fishes swimming the beach, nice birds flying around the beach. The staff was generally friendly even if a little lazy sometime... nothing too bad, but improvable. Our room was in a very nice position, on the left branch of the resort, with a lot of space, 2 toilets and an excellent view of the sea.

The room cleaning should be improved; our room was a little lacking of furnitures in respect of others . The mattress was not very comfortable, the toilets would require new sanitary furnishings. As an italian couples, we really enjoyed the possibility to drink Moccaccino or Cappuccino for breakfast, so it was a shame that during the last 2 days the coffee machines were not fully working and the offer was reduced. Small details sometimes make the difference.

The resort is beautiful with water sport activities available. The rooms were clean & comfortable and excellent room service. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. They have a taxi service on the resort.

We had Half board option. The food was not the best. It's edible but nothing impressive except one or two fish dishes/curries and the croissants. The dessert was awful. The cocktails are very expensive but not even aesthetically appealing or beautiful, very basic for the price you pay. +/- Rs400-600 each.

The hospitality, the drinks and food variety on AIP was amazing!

People “book” their chairs next to the swimming pool and then not show up for hours, and there are limited chairs to lie down in shade, so then you have to be in the sun, and on a hot day that is not ideal.

The staff were genuinely friendly and always smiling – a big contrast to other 5-star resorts I’ve stayed in. The room was spotless with strong air con and WiFi. The pool was cleaned daily, sunbeds always available, and the beach was immaculate. Food was varied and consistently delicious. Loads of activities too – kayaking, volleyball, table tennis, aqua aerobics. Service felt personal.

I am being very picky here but as with many all-inclusives, drinks were sometimes weak – the alcohol content was very low.

The staff were amazing. They were very friendly and eager to serve wth love. They went out of their way to help and we connected well with all of them. They are your best asset. We received an upgrade to our room without request. We can't mention every staff member but we would like to say thank you to Balram,Rati, Sheila, Alisha, Ackhia, Aslam, Sweta, Vassen (he cleaned our room) etc . Being an Adults only resort is a bonus. The beach is lovely, the pool is awesome and we had many choices for breakfast and dinner.

Smoking allowed outside the restaurant. Guests shouldn't be allowed to smoke close to others eating. The resort could do with some renovation - we are aware that this is happening next year!

Ambre had such an amazing vibe and the beach, the pool, the food and the staff were all AMAZING!! We had come from a neighbouring resort and Ambre was bar none a thousand times better, right from the get go, we won’t stay at any other resort when we come to Mauritius again - Ambre has stolen our hearts!! ❤️Tracy checked us in was very thorough & friendly. We had a large quiet, beautiful, clean, room & the king sized bed was so comfy. The complimentary mini bar in the room was restocked daily with beer, pop, water, chocolate bars & chip - Nice touch!! We also really like the tea & coffee (with real milk) that was provided in the room - Nice Touch. We also had a beautiful ocean facing deck that had comfortable furniture. Ravish looked after our room perfectly was super friendly & professional. We celebrated my husbands 60th bday at Dolce Vita - Davisen the restaurant Manager & Ayess took very good care of us, making us feel very valued & special, the service that was provided was the best - professional, friendly & the food was delicious & top quality. We celebrated our 25yr anniversary at Le Plage & Ashiss was wonderful, friendly & professional - the food was excellent!! Anntish looked after our food/drinks on the beach, he was amazing & always had a beautiful smile for us! Vishnu the bartender & Ashwin in the poolside lounge were both so prompt, efficient & friendly. The buffet where we mostly ate had a really great selection of hot and cold food with an ever-changing menu of local & international dishes . All in all we had a wonderful stay at Ambre & all of the staff were super. Thank you for everything. We will definitely be back!! ❤️

A fabulous hotel to relax and chill in beautiful Mauritius. Had everything you need and in immaculate condition. The layout of the facilities was excellent. Our room was exceptional and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Felt the luxury from the moment we arrived. We were made to feel special by the team because we booked on Booking.command we didn’t have a tour rep. There was plenty to do on site and can recommend Chris’s speedboat 5 island tour. The food was very high quality and plenty of choice. Special shout out for Natasha - Dolce Vita Luv - Pool Bar Vishal - La Plage Daryl - H & H Bar Annabelle - Dolce Vita We booked a suite on this site for less than a normal room through operators. We had a sitting room, huge bathroom, shower room and one of the largest bedrooms we’ve stayed in. Have seen smaller apartments. You won’t regret booking this resort, is in our top ten now.

Struggle to find anything not to like. Maybe the evening entertainment could have been more contemporary and the service was a bit hit and miss at times in the main Coral Bar but I’m being picky.

Worth the 12 hour flight. The feeling from the moment you step in is amazing. The staff will do anything to make you feel good, entertained. We had a experience, when we asked for an coconut water, we received a personalized one. I would recommend a massage at spa as well. The sea view from the hotel is breathtaking. The restaurant staff is always very attentive, full of jokes, mentioning here Anil and his team from the La Plage restaurant. But the feeling to relax under a coconut tree by the water is what impressed me the most. Water sport activities can be fun as well, we did snorkelling at special spot brought over with a glass bottom boat, kayak and hydrobycicle, all for free .

It's very hard to say something bad about the place. We had all inclusive packages, but had to pay extra for some common cocktails 😕. The 2 speciality restaurants have to be booked, but they only take a very small amount of people each evening, you have to be aware to book well in advance. The service was exceptional, at both, and food presentation and taste top class, but not a good feeling when they tell you, sorry, not tonight or tomorrow.

The resort is so serene and it’s great to hear the birds chirping as you walk around under the coconut trees or palm trees. It’s nice to have both the pool and the beach area as people spread out and neither ends up being overcrowded. We enjoyed the option of dining in the different restaurants at no additional cost to switch things up. Also got a birthday cake on my birthday dinner and the room decorated for the occasion, which was really nice. They have a calendar filled with activities every week, so you don’t end up getting bored. The free water activities are a great addition.

The rooms are a bit outdated. All of them have a sea view so we regretted paying for a bigger one since the only additional thing about it was extra space in the room that wasn’t used and a balcony that was nice to have but we were out all the time so it didn’t get any use either.

The Indigo Restaurant bus service staff were great especially Sheila and Rati who go out of their way to assist guests. The beaches are fabulous and the lounging chairs great.

The Indigo Restaurant for the all inclusive meals does not serve up enough seafood and we did not get any prawns and very limited fish to savour. The buffet menu could change a bit more from day to day as the European food options were limited if you are not into curries, rottis and naan breads. But the salad bar saved the day and there were always very good pasta salads to dine on when you cannot find a main course to eat from the selection available. The Dolce Vita Restaurant had very limited Italian food options and the chef/kitchen could not cater to special requests like Focaccias and pizzas not on the menu.
