The best hotel on the island! The breakfast is the most amazing spread! The beaches are great with excellent service. The rooms are very spacious and always kept so neat and clean. It is like a piece of heaven! Our sixth time we have been and we will never go to any other resort.

The only thing that I would say that needs improvement is the restaurant at the point at night. The food was not the best and the service was not up to scratch. I would not dine there again. I would rather go to the other restaurants on the resort.

Wow! We absolutely loved our stay here. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the service was amazing. The staff were all so friendly and polite and there whenever you needed them. The grounds and the pools are beautiful and well maintained and there are many activities to choose from, which can be easily booked via your personal host using WhatsApp (with generally good wifi connection throughout the resort). The nightly entertainment was great with the live band and the pianist in the speakeasy and we appreciated the cocktail reception event that was held. The breakfast buffet had so much variety it was hard to decide what to eat. Overall, a great stay and we will hopefully make it back for the hotel’s 50th anniversary! Very nice room with comfortable beds, friendly staff (Mashood at Tapasake), great service at the beach, appreciated early check in & late check out, Tennis courts, big and well equipt gym. Variety of different restaurants

-Overpriced offers for day trips, -our honeymoon was never mentioned/ no congratulations at all, -complicated deposit process with blocking a deposit on the credit card but still had to pay on top of the blocked deposit - there is alway a view percent service charge added, even for a local taxi driver when organized by staff -algae at the beach due to global warming, collected by staff on a tractor -buffet at dinner is very expensive for a buffet -south western side of the island is less windy therefore better for a beach holiday

Our stay at this hotel was truly unforgettable, thanks to the exceptional team members who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness. Special thanks to Roshan, Andreas, Anu, Eric, Gangadin, Luxmi, Aldo, and Didier for their warmth, attentiveness, and incredible hospitality. Each interaction with them made us feel valued and welcomed. Every aspect of our stay was thoughtfully curated, making it a truly luxurious and relaxing getaway. The dining experience at La Terass and La Pointe was outstanding, with delicious food that delighted our taste buds every time. The ambiance and service further elevated the experience, leaving us feeling as if we were in paradise. There were a few areas for improvement: 1. While the staff’s warmth and courtesy shone brightly, the hotel itself lacked the authentic Mauritian cultural elements we experienced during our external tours. Adding more local influences in decor, music, or activities could enhance the connection to Mauritius. 2. The kids’ club was well-suited for younger children but offered little to engage older tweens and teens. Expanding programming for this age group would be a welcome addition. 3. The evening entertainment could benefit from incorporating more authentic Mauritian vibes, such as traditional music and dance, to immerse guests in the local culture. Despite these minor shortcomings, the genuine care and effort from the staff, along with the outstanding culinary and overall experience, made our stay incredibly memorable. This hotel truly excels in hospitality, and we would gladly return for another visit.

The place was very nice and staff were always welcoming, service is great. Lots of events going around in the hotel like jazz night, different cuisines a few times a week. The beach is clean and beautiful, every angle of the hotel is different which is nice.

It absolutely cannot get better than this - pure luxury and exceptional services. While the hotel is carefully groomed, with well-designed rooms, top notch amenities, and exquisite food and products - what truly stands out with the One & Only Le Saint Gérant is its people. The staff and management truly go the extra mile to make you feel welcomed, comfortable, respected and frankly spoiled! Surprises, presents and personalized treats were provided at any moment of our stay. To name a few great people: we were thrilled by all the personalized services provided by Prunella and Kiran making sure we got all the right restaurant and activities bookings (up to an extra portion of cannelé in the room!). Ashwin at the gym is absolutely wonderful and extremely professional in his personal fitness coaching services (even in the case of injury recovery!). Vinod at La Pointe makes the best margaritas and pisco sour and truly is a wonderful host. Kenny organises and guides the best diving tours on the island with zero compromise on safety. We came for a very short stay, but one thing is sure - we are definitely coming back, and this time for longer.

- Concierge/host service by WhatsApp unreliable as it can take too long to get a reply - Too few restaurant options in the hotel and nearby - Lack of support in exploring Mauritius as the hotel tries to keep you in there - Too expensive drinks (eg. EUR 7.5 for a local beer) and spa services (eg. EUR 150 for 1 hour massage) - Good food quality and variety available on the buffet (EUR80/adult) but it is an expensive option for kids above 5 years old (EUR40). There is no flexibility in order a la carte for kids that dont eat much.

THE BEST THI9NG ABOUT THIS PROPERTY IS THE STAFF. THEY ARE AMAZING, THEY NEW OUR NAMES, OUR FOOD AND DRINK PREFERENCES. AND YOU DIDN'T ALWAYS HAVE TO ASK. BEVERAGES APPEARED BEFORE YOU LIKE MAGIC. COFFEE THAT HAD COOLD A LITTLE TOO MUCH WERE REPLACED WITHOUT HAVING TO ASK.

WE WERE DISAPOINTED THAT THE MAIN DINNING AREAS OFFERED A HOT AND CLD BUFFET. GOOD FOR BREAKFAST BUT NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED FOR DINNER. THERE WAS A GEAT DEAL OF CHOICE REGARDLESS OF MEAL TIME BUT FOR DINNER WE EXPECTED A MENU AND TABLE SERVICE. WE DID TRY A COUPLE OD THE OTHER DINNING OPTIONS BUT ONE WAS ONLY OPEN TWO EVENINGS A WEEK AND THE "PRIME" WAS EXPENSIVE AND HAD A LIMITED MENU. MY HUSBANDS WAGOO STREAK WAS OVER £100 AND WAS TOUGH!!!

Incredible relaunch of beauty spa. beach extensions and recent updated details are polished and perfect. Service and guest relations are next level. Beach service and attendance was incredible. All round best of the best . Thank you One and Only , I highly recommend this brilliant hotel.
