What stood out the most was the kind attention the staff always provided. Particular thank you to Mr. Mehess and Mr. Yella at breakfast, then a special thank you also to Mr. Nishal, Mr. Preetam and Mr. Reetesh for their kind attention. Also special thanks to the lovely ladies at the kids club. The hotel is very pleasant, lovely beach, lovely setting, everything provided for. Would absolutely recommend it

We think that the hotel lacks evening entertainment and since the hotel offers three restaurants, we would prefer the main restaurant to provide a buffet every evening. If the client prefers alla carte then they would have the option of the other two. We felt we were eating the same thing every night due to the alla carte option. We also felt we had to fight for pool beds based on the fact that we had a child that was not allowed in the lap pool, and as such only had the option of one pool and too few pool beds.

Duty Manager Akshada who is such a gem. We want to come back as soon as possible just so we get to meet her again! The service, majority of the hotel staff, food is terrific. Indian Chef Negi's cooking is out of this world + he is such a nice human being.

Its rude to talk about clients in Creole in front of them when you think that they don't understand Creole. This happened more than 3 times where hotel staff were talking about us rudely in Creole in front of us. First, the Asian restaurant manager loudly told his staff that "The girl does not eat chicken but eats what comes out of it" in response to my partner being vegetarian that day, second In-Room dining staff on the phone did not want to take our calls and said something mean in Creole which we heard, third the agent who was checking us out at the reception tried to say that we might be lying of our mini bar usage.

We just had the pleasure of staying at the Constance Prince Maurice, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. It is one of the best hotels we ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service that set the tone for the rest of our stay. The resort itself is a true gem, nestled in a lush tropical setting with stunning views of the Indian Ocean and the lagoon. The attention to detail is evident in every corner, from the beautifully landscaped gardens to the tastefully appointed villa. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional dining experience. The resort boasts a range of restaurants offering a diverse culinary journey. From the exquisite seafood at the Barachois restaurant to the authentic Indian and Asian flavors at the Asian restaurant, each meal was a delight for the senses. The attentive staff and the quality of ingredients used truly elevated the dining experience to another level. The resort also offers a wide array of activities and amenities. Whether it's relaxing by the pool, indulging in a rejuvenating spa treatment, or taking part in water sports, there is something for everyone. The staff was always on hand to assist and provide recommendations. What truly sets the Constance Prince Maurice apart is the exceptional level of service. The staff members were genuinely friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. From the moment we arrived until our departure, we felt like a valued guest, and that personalized touch made all the difference. In conclusion, we cannot recommend the Constance Prince Maurice enough. It deserves 7*. It is a haven of luxury, tranquility, and impeccable service. Our stay at Constance Prince Maurice was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and professionalism by the reception team, setting the tone for the rest of our holiday. The exceptional customer service was consistent across the entire property—from the spa and housekeeping to in-room dining. Special mention to the Asian Restaurant, which served some of the best dim sums we’ve had. On the evening of 25 July, when seating was unavailable due to Sushi Night, the F&B Manager went above and beyond to accommodate us at an alternate restaurant and had our preferred dishes from the Asian menu served to our table. This level of personalized care was truly commendable. The rooms were beautifully appointed, the beach access was convenient, and the temperature-controlled pool added an extra touch of luxury to our experience. We also deeply appreciated the hotel’s understanding and compassion when one of our family members had to depart early due to an emergency. The hotel promptly refunded the three unused nights, which we consider a reflection of their integrity and guest-first policy.

The only limitation we encountered was the location—while serene and idyllic, the hotel is relatively isolated. There are no restaurants or shopping options nearby, and one would need to travel about an hour by road for such activities. Nonetheless, this does not overshadow the overall excellence of the property and its team. A heartfelt thank you to the hotel management and staff for making our stay so memorable. We would definitely recommend this resort to those seeking relaxation, top-tier service, and natural beauty.

The staff was very friendly and reactive. The facilities seemed well maintained. The room service was on time and our orders were correct every time. The food was delicious. The kids club was great, clean (it is sanitized multiple times per day according to the club's timetable) and had many possible activities. The room was prepared for our two year old as well (providing a small towel, t-shirt, beach toys, stool for using the sink or bathroom, shampoo and creams specifically for kids). Many thanks to the water activities team who were unfailingly nice and accommodating. Birthdays don't go unnoticed (a cake and candles were provided)

The beach wasn't the best we've tried in Mauritius (due to spots with seaweed), but we still had a lovely time and lots of fun (between swimming, water activities, and just relaxing/enjoying the elements).

The hotel is really beautiful, everywhere you look there is a lovely view of either gardens, sea, or pools. The design is also very stunning, grand and elegant but somehow cosy and comfortable at the same time. The pools were so lush and the sea is like bath water. I am pregnant and they couldn’t have been nicer or looked after us better. It felt very safe including swimming in the sea and nothing was too big or small of an ask (eg they brought us non alcoholic wine from their extensive cellar at every restaurant). There were so many amazing little touches like fresh made crepes and fresh fruit salad made slightly differently everyday (orange, hibiscus, vanilla). Water stations around the pool were flavoured with lemongrass, orange or grapefruit (and they brought you plain water throughout the day). The staff were all so lovely and clearly (and rightly) take pride in their hotel, from the waiters to the gardeners, managers to masseurs. I enjoyed learning more about Mauritius from them too. Thank you!!

Honestly anything I can write is basically a massive quibble, it was such a wonderful stay. Maybe the towels could be more soft and the second pool could use a nearer toilet; a low nightlight in the bathroom (maybe under sink lighting or just in the toilet) would also be really helpful. But really these are just suggestions, not big deals compared to how nice everything was.

We finished the final part of our honeymoon at Prince Maurice and we are a little lost for words how wonderful this stay was- the hotel, staff, service were beyond exceptional. Everyone was extremely kind, gracious and welcoming, we felt important and very safe- the service and all inclusive package was elite, the best we have ever experienced. The food and drink options were incredible and the staffs knowledge of this was excellent. The princely experiences really added something extra to our stay- we did both a wine tasting in the incredible cellar and had dinner on the beach. Exceptional experiences and incredibly good value. The spa is also incredible and we enjoyed our welcome massage so much we had to book in for a couples massage which was amazing. The overall chic appearance and ambience of the hotel is incredible, the touches made to our room for our honeymoon made it all the more special. The location, lagoon and use if watersport was absolutely beautiful- the hotel was incredibly peaceful and tranquil. What an incredible hotel, we had the most spectacular honeymoon and can't wait to return to Prince Maurice or any other constance hotel in the future. Would 100% reccommend to anyone. Nothing- could not fault a thing

I don’t usually write reviews, but this hotel absolutely deserves recognition. From the moment we arrived, everything about our stay exceeded expectations. This is more than just a five-star hotel—it’s a five-star plus experience. Every detail, no matter how small, has been thoughtfully considered. The hospitality is world-class, and you can feel the genuine care in every interaction. The staff are not only professional but also incredibly polite and well-mannered. What stood out even more was the dining experience. Even after trying some of the best local restaurants around the island, nothing quite compared to the food at the hotel. Their chefs—French and perhaps from other top culinary backgrounds—are outstanding. Special thanks to Hansley for the impeccable room service and management, to Sundeep and his colleague for the warm and attentive beach service, and to Darshini for the excellent in-room support. If you’re planning a visit to Mauritius, this hotel is a must-try experience. We can’t wait to return.

This is one of my favorite resorts. The location is very nice and secluded. The design of the resort and all villas is just great, the food is really great at all their restaurants. The best thing at this hotel is their attention to each person. They know you by name, and the whole staff is just beyond helpful and always smiling. Honestly, the royal treatment. The Barachois restaurant is also so romantic and the food is wonderful. Gold courses, bicycles, everything you want is there.

The room was slightly outdated, and most importantly the maintenance is not done in a neat way. The bedding can be more comfortable, there was no hair conditioner, and the sound of the AC was very loud. This needs to be updated. The team at concierge although very attentive, can be more knowledgable of the local restaurants and local experiences outside of the hotel premises.

Incredibly beautiful setting, on a lagoon with a stunning beach. Staff were all very polite and helpful, and they arranged a few lovely treats for us as it was our honeymoon. All the food we had was delicious and it made for a very memorable stay.

Given the price, there were a few things that fell below my expectations, e.g. the check in took the best part of an hour, asking us to fill in forms when we had already shared all that same info over email; while advertised as closing at 7, we were kicked out of the main pool at 5 minutes to six, and then there was no space or free sun loungers the next day, so we barely got to use it; and even the minibar wasn't free, which seemed a little money pinching. We also really didn't like that the hotel seems to allow drones, which were constantly buzzing over us as we sunbathed outside our room or on the beach.
